Hossam was a very knowledgeable tour guide on everything pyramids and history. He spoke perfect English and Italian, and was good at dispelling pyramid conspiracies. He took me to the best shops in town for clothes, papyrus, and scents. The camel and quad bike rides were so exciting, which he facilitates. Finally, lunch was amazing with a pyramid view and more stories and information from Hossam. Best guide ever
It was amazing! Not only did our guide tell us about Egypt’s history but he also made sure we were comfortable, safe, and felt welcomed! We had so much fun! The camel ride was my favorite 🥰 we also love all the great pictures our guide took! 🤩 definitely recommend booking!
Ahmed our guide was outstanding & exceeded our expectations. He was positive, humorous & flexible to meet our needs. He gave excellent historical & cultural information & was open to answering our questions. We enjoyed the itinerary & variety of experiences to see quite a bit in the afternoon. His communication for meeting arrangements was helpful thru what’s app. Highly recommend.
We had an incredible experience visiting the Giza Pyramids with our amazing tour guide and driver! Traveling with my wife and daughter, we couldn’t have asked for a better team to take care of us.
Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate—bringing the history of the pyramids to life in a way that kept all of us engaged, even my daughter. Every detail was explained clearly, and all our questions were answered with enthusiasm.
Our driver was just as impressive—professional, punctual, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. Navigating the busy areas around Giza is no easy task, but he handled it with ease.
Together, they made our day smooth, enjoyable, and unforgettable. Highly recommend this team to anyone looking to explore the pyramids stress-free and with a personal touch!
Prior to booking was concerned, how we'd be able to hit the two major higlights of Cairo. However, with our exceptional Guide Bebo, we had an amazing experience.
We started at the GEM, where Bebo gave us an amazing highlgihts tour; thereafter heading to the Pyramids, where once again Bebo knew the tricks to get us the most effecient experience.
We chose the Horse Carriage over the camel ride, which is also an option. Lastly, the lunch that was included was great quality food, and would strongly recommend others to sign up for this experience.
The best part of the tour was as we were apporaching the Great Pyramids for the first time, our guide Bebo put on an Egyptian Vocal Trance track to help set-up the experience of seeing the Pyramids for the first time. Was truly a memorable highlight!
Overall, strongly recommend, and would specifically ask for Bebo as the guide.
We had a fun time visiting the Pyramids in Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum with our guide Zenab and her capable driver. We had a short and very memorable ride on camels, great photos taken by our separate camel guide. Our guide then took us through the pyramids area. After touring the Pyramids we visited three shops selling perfumes/oils, making papyrus and spices. These shops were not high pressure sales like the bazaars. We bought something from each. This was followed by buffet lunch and museum. A full day. The museum is massive and could easily be a full day on its own if you are have a strong interest in the kings of Egypt.
This is a really nice trip to take and very doable in a day. We wanted to escape the pyramids and the temples for a day and get a snap shot of life in a coastal city like Alex. Mohammed was a wonderful guide and we truly enjoyed his tour and his knowledge of Alex .
Excellent but lot of traffic so long drive. You don’t meet the guide until Alexandria. But our driver Nabil was very nice and accommodating. Mahmoud our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, attentive and a happy person which made our tour more enjoyable. Because of the long drive our lunch was a box meal while driving back but it was very good
Confirmation was prompt and the pickup was on time. I messaged the tour provider the day before, but they never responded. Upon arrival, the driver had to park at the end of the bridge because the Hilton didn't allow him to drive onto the hotel grounds. While he wasn't initially sure of the locations for two of the tombs, we found them after he asked for directions.
Note to future travelers: Bring your own water, as none was provided. I also paid a total of 50 EGP for parking at Saqqara and Dahshur. Additionally, the driver asked for 10 EGP to tip the guard at Dahshur; I gave him 50 EGP and told him to keep the change for other tips. I only witnessed him tipping once, though he claimed at the end of the tour that he had distributed the full amount to various guards.
Good communication, informative guide, plenty of time for optional extras if you want them (e.g. inside the great pyramid), and lunch was enjoyable. Only part I wasn't keen on was the papyrus stop at the end - the staff there were very pushy in terms of wanting you to buy things, but otherwise the tour was hassle free
The whole trip was well organised and the guide was very knowledgable and helpful. Everything went smoothly and we learned a lot in a very short time. There was so much to see that we should really have opted for a 2 day tour so we could take it all in.
Usam and our driver were awesome to spend the day touring some of these amazing sites. I like the fact that we started in Memphis and Saqqara which avoided some of the crowds. Usam was engaging, helped us with goo picture sites and even how to avoid some of the scams with come
vendors.
We had a lunch of Kaosharo which was INCREDIBLE!
We finished off the day at the Giza complex. It was a great tour for the value.
The only items that were not on the original itenerary was a stop at an essential oil “museum” shop and a papyrus “museum” which was kind of not what we had planned. The oil shop was a sales job and while the products were nice (we actually bought a small bottle) it was a bit high pressure and we didn’t really want to shop like this. We simply asked to skip the papyrus shop because we figured it would be the same, so I would simply ask to skip those parts if you did not want to shop.
Overall, we loved our day with Usam !
thank you!
The sprawling metropolis of Cairo is rich with historic sights and cultural experiences—and the logistics of taking them all in can be overwhelming in this bustling Egyptian city. The best way to visit ancient pyramids, sail on an authentic felucca, take photos of the Great Sphinx, or ride a camel is with one of the many Cairo day trips available to visitors. Some sightseeing tours feature the services of a professional Egyptologist guide who can provide more in-depth insight than a simple guidebook. Also, consider a day trip from Cairo to legendary Alexandria on the Mediterranean Sea.
