We booked a 3-day trip to Siwa and had the best experience ever! The city is absolutely beautiful and we loved going to the desert and seeing the salt lakes. The nature there is really breathtaking. Our guide, Ahmed Farahat was absolutely amazing and knew the best spots to enjoy and took care of all of our needs. The hotel was also very nice and even had a pool and a hot spring. Also the food was soo good and we ate so much. We can 100% recommend this experience. If possible, you should book the 4-day trip because there are so many beautiful things to see in Siwa.

We just finished a 3-day Siwa tour from Cairo with our guide Ahmed and honestly it was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Egypt. The tour was meant to be a small group tour but it ended up being just the two of us, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and special. Ahmed is genuinely the best tour guide we’ve had across the 17 countries we’ve travelled to. He was always attentive to what we wanted, made sure we were comfortable at every step, and had such a calm, relaxed approach that never made the trip feel rushed. He gave us flexibility with activity timing and really let the experience move at our pace, which we appreciated so much. More than a guide, Ahmed felt like a friend showing us around Siwa. Good experience to escape from the chaos of Cairo

Overall, our 3-day trip to Siwa was a good experience, though it is important to go in with an open mind. If you embrace adventure and can adapt to a more rustic environment, you will absolutely love it. The Highlights Our guide, Hany, provided a clean, comfortable car and went above and beyond by stocking it with snacks and water, ensuring we had everything we needed for the long drives. Our accomodation Asfay Ecolodge. The lodge is beautiful, and the breakfast was incredible—definitely the best meal of the day. Desert Thrills: The dune bashing "rally" in the Great Sand Sea was an adrenaline rush. Ending the day with tea and shisha while watching the sunset over the dunes was a magical, unforgettable moment. Personal Observations While the experience was great, there are a few things to keep in mind for a smoother trip: Accommodation Tweaks: At Asfay Ecolodge, adding a shower curtain in the bathroom would be a simple but very welcome improvement to keep the space dry. Dining Variety: We found the food during the 3 days to be quite repetitive (mostly rice, chicken/meat, and soup). While Hany did offer alternatives like Koshary or Egyptian pizza, they didn't quite suit our personal tastes. The Cleopatra’s Pool Situation: A word of caution—the public changing and shower facilities at Cleopatra’s Pool are below standard in terms of hygiene. I’d suggest showering back at the hotel and perhaps having lunch in the city center rather than at the pool restaurant.

Really amazing trip in a very special part of Egypt. Our guide, Hany, was exceptional and really looked after us the entire time. Very thankful we chose this private tour, as it gave us the flexibility to spend time in the places that we wanted to, and to shape parts of the excursion as we went. The adventure through the desert on the second day was a lot of fun and had a very special end with fireside tea and fruit while watching the sunset. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see a very special part of Egypt.

We had an incredible 3-day, 2-night tour to Siwa Oasis with Hany Shalhoob as our guide and driver. From the very beginning, he made everything seamless by picking us up directly from our hotel in Cairo and handling the long 6–7 hour drive to Siwa Oasis with complete professionalism. The drive was smooth, safe, and comfortable the entire way. Hany is an excellent driver, which made such a long journey feel easy and stress free. He was punctual and organized, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the trip. During the three days, he was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about the area. He explained the history and culture of Siwa in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. He was also flexible with timing and made sure we enjoyed every stop without feeling rushed. An authentic and unique experience away from the crowds

I had an amazing experience with this tour operator. Communication was good from the start. Our guide Huseyin was always on time, very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. They picked us up in a well kept minibus with working AC, curtains and plenty of space, that our driver kept cleaning up. They always made sure we felt safe and that our needs were satisfied with several little attentions. The siwa oasis is truly a must see, and the desert safari was also a highlight! The ecolodge was very nice and original. It was a good addition to the other activities in egypt, as the vibe is more laidback and different in Siwa. The itinerary was not exactly as described on viator but our guide gave us all the details when we started the tour so we knew what to expect.

Excellent experience with Luxury Tours Egypt. They took care of us during the whole trip. Amen our guide is an excellent driver and guide too. He told us so many tips these 3 days . Temples, archeological places in SIWA , were described from Amen great and of course we had extraordinary experience in salt lakes and in desert ! Furthermore, there is no reason to feel unsafe there. Although is a place 9 hours from Cairo, it is very safe to walk there even though you are a european woman. I was always observing men smiling and not being strict or negative. The street food also is nice. The programm is full. I wish return in Siwa for more days !! Once-in-a-lifetime experience

Siwa is a beautiful town off the grid, and if you have the 3 days to see it, you should! This trip included many fun memories and experiences and was a once-in-a-lifetime journey which was a lot of fun. A lot of good photos. The good: - The dune ride, sunset tea in the desert, and salt lake swim were absolutely incredible and the highlights of the trip. Seeing the temples was also cool, you were high up and could see the entire oasis. There was plenty to do while in Siwa. - Our guide was friendly and personable, always happy to answer questions. We learned a lot about daily life, culture, history, food, etc. We really enjoyed our tour guide and he made the trip amazing. - Siwa is a lovely town and the people are very nice. There aren't aggressive sellers. They don't take you to expensive shops where sales are pushed to earn commission. - There are no extra costs while in Siwa. The food, water, and entrance fees are covered. We stopped for water when needed to stay hydrated. The driver takes you everywhere, not much walking besides downtown shopping/dinner. There was plenty to eat. - The hotel has breakfast and a nice pool. We had a couple hours of downtime on the first day (after arriving) and the second day (before dinner). The hotel has working AC and the room is spacious. - The company texted us each day to check in and make sure things were going well. They were very responsive and coordinated pick-up and drop-off perfectly. The not-so-good: - The long drive is very difficult. If you cannot handle spending two full days in the car, this is not for you. Even with the AC turned up, it was very hot in the car. There were no sun shades. The car was small and for a trip of this duration I would expect a sprinter van at a minimum, not a small sedan. Better AC, more legroom, more space, and sun protection should be a bare minimum – but were lacking. Some roads in the desert were also in disrepair but our driver navigated them well. Be advised there is no cell connection on the last half of the drive and many parts of Siwa. - The itinerary is not explicitly followed, but the flow of the trip was good. It was difficult that there were not clear times or expectations of the journey or stops. On the way home we were not sure if we were supposed to buy water/food out of pocket. - The drive home does not include lunch. I suppose the listing is accurate, but this should be explicitly mentioned. It is a long drive without food. - The hotel was nice but had dozens of ants in the bathroom and on the toilet, which was a nuisance. The water did not work for a short time, and the shower was cold and the shower head was not mounted. - It is not necessarily a fully private trip, they may group you with other travelers if two groups book the same dates. But our other traveler was very nice! - The stop for lunch on the way was at a small Koshari place in an alley. I would have liked to eat at a place with a view of the Mediterranean sea. We didn't even see the ocean.

We were lucky enough to have this tour booked with Luxury Tours Egypt. Mo Tolba was our tour leader, and Eslam Ali was our driver, and I can't say enough about both of them. Egyptians are the most friendly people we've ever met, but these two take hospitality to a whole new level that I've never experienced in all my life. This was our first trip abroad, and they ensured we were safe, comfortable, happy, intrigued, educated, and of course - having the time of our lives. They introduced us to the most amazing food, extremely friendly restaurant and shop managers and owners, and the kindest hotel managers and staff. Coming to Egypt I was very excited to discover SIWA, I looked for a reliable company to help me get there and I found Luxury Yours Egypt and I feel that I got lucky with them , this experience have been nothing but incredible . They are professional , knowledgeable and they have an organized tour for 3 days and two nights. They picked me up at the hotel in Cairo and took me to Siwa , they arranged the food , the hotel and the schedule. Floating in the tranquil Salt Lake, relaxing in the hot springs, and enjoying the calm waters of Cleopatra’s Pool were highlights of the trip. The desert safari with Aiman—our adventurous and fun driver—was thrilling, especially with tea at sunset on the dunes. A great trip

We really enjoyed this trip with tour guide Moe and driver Ahmed. The highlights of our trip are the salt lakes and the dessert tour. It is really amazing. Moe seems to know everybody in Siwa, and helped us take a lot of nice photos. Ahmed drove very well. The dessert tour with Mahmoud was also great. Everybody is so friendly. All in all we had a very good time and would recommend this tour to our friends.

We had a wonderful time in Siwa with our guide Amn. He is so so great in all aspects. We felt very confortable during the car journey that we can't realize it's so far. Otherwise, all is very safe, we got realy relaxed. The hotel is amazing too, as the food. Everything is delicious. Ouro guide is the better, always explaining and giving us the best experince and photos ever!!! We definately recommend the company and ouro guide to everyone.

An unforgettable experience!!

This was the most amazing experience we had in Egypt by far and we were there for a month! From the moment we booked, Aya reached out to make sure we were informed of everything we needed to know to have a safe, unforgettable trip to Siwa. Upon time for the trip, we were comfortable for the 9 hour drive, had a lovely stop at Marsa Matrouh, and learned about the areas along the way. Once we arrived at Siwa, Aya was a wonderful tour leader making sure we got the best experience possible. I truly will never forget this trip and I look forward to doing it again the next time I'm in Egypt! A huge thanks as well to our driver Eslam who was kind, funny, and provided a safe and comfortable driving experience. Overall this trip was absolutely magnificent!!!

Muhammad and Mustafa took us on a fantastic 3 day tour to Siwa. We got to experience the Salt lake Oasis, thermal springs, Oracle temple and fantastic food options. My guide and driver Mo took good care of me and was very atty to details. He’s also knowledgeable about the tour sites in Siwa, which he’s passionate about. He also has a good selection of Egyptian music, which is important for the long drive between Cairo and Siwa.

Let me start by saying all that was offered for the cost was mind-blowing to me. My tour guide was punctual, professional, and so polite. Mo Tolba is the best tour guide I have had on an excursion. He was knowledgeable and very accommodating; every opportunity he had to make my experience as enjoyable as possible for me, he did it. No stone was unturned, nor memory -making moment was missed. I felt right at home and so included even when conversation was had that I did not understand, which was much because I don't speak the native language. Luxury Tours Egypt is an exceptional tour company and, Lord willing, if I am able to return I will only book with them. Additionally, for the last leg of the excursion, I met and hung out with some of the other tour guides in the company. Our trip to Siwa was the highlight of our Egyptian vacation. Everything was perfectly coordinated with a variety of memorable activities: salt lakes, sandboarding, safari, delicious food, and the bustling bazaar with unbeatable prices. A unique highlight was the rare opportunity to feed fennec foxes in the desert, adding a magical touch to our journey. Despite the distance, Siwa was absolutely worth it. Transport arrangements were comfortable, and our guide, Mo Tolba, played a pivotal role in ensuring every moment was nothing short of amazing. His dedication and enthusiasm truly enriched our trip. Accommodations were excellent too. If you're considering a trip, this is an absolute must-do.

Hello We did our trip with Eslam - the driver and Aya - our tour guide (4-6th may) I am very grateful for experience this trip with these 2, they made it an unforgettable experience, very very nice and young vibe people. Regarding the journey, it’s a very long one +/- 8h route. Eslam drives very well, if you prefer a quite ride, you can close your eyes, rest and trust his driving skills OR if you prefer a more entertained ride, you can talk and clarify all your questions with Aya - she will be happy to share all of her knowledge- which is a lot. They will stop the journey whenever needed for food supplies/toilet/whatsover. They ask you if you prefer to stop on the Mediterranean city on the way to Siwa or the reverse. I recommend to stop on the way to Siwa as on your return you will be tired and not so motivated. You don’t spend much time on that city. Just having lunch on the city center and then a 30 min walk by the beach. About Siwa, it’s such a great experience to see closely how a “primitive” civilization is living nowadays and the history of the place, it’s speechless, the sights are breathtaking and everything will be explained to you, from the little detail to the passage of Alexandre The Great there. The salt bath is a bit cold and although the salt lakes are wonderful, the place where they are is a bit sloppy so, measure your expectations. You travel through the places on a tuktuk, which I think is very funny - with natural AC, the feeling of the wind in your face, so cool. The icing on the cake was the desert safari where we had the opportunity to feed the white foxes of the desert. In terms of accommodation, as it was the beginning of the summer, they proposed as if we prefered to stay the 2 nights in the lodge as mosquito season started… Food wise, I liked the food tbh but I suggest you start taking stomach protector from day 1 cause it will be typical food, so, out organism is not used to and I unfortunately had food poisoning And let me create some awareness about the tipping system, if you enjoyed each trip/experience during the tour, they use the expression “tip appreciated” but I would put more in terms “tip expected”. It was the only down of the trip cause we were not considering that budget. During all the time, Aya was almost a life guide, she was making sure we did not leave anything behind, that we weee having a good time, paid attention to food request, very good conversations, taking as many pictures as we want… I felt I was having time with a friend and not a tour guide, an excellent customer service. She even kept in touch with us afterwards to advice me on some book’s recommendations!! So, finally, I highly recommend this experience to go a bit out of the way ”typical turistic” things and if you get lucky and have Eslam and Aya, honest and serious people, your tour will be amazing by default. And Eslam even took us amazing pics and videos without us asking, full pack service.
