We had a wonderful experience on the Pyramid and GEM Tour with Ahmed Ismail! Ahmed was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire tour enjoyable and stress-free. He shared fascinating information about the pyramids and was happy to answer all of our questions.

Amazing day full of great memories.
Our guide Mohammed was very knowledgeable and very informative.
The only recommendation would be that you need to tell the tour guide to slow down the experience as they want you to visit papyrus /fragrance shops and workshops where you spend and they get a cut. The experience is good but you end up with less time at the actual places you booked to tour.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience visiting the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum. The tour was very well organised, informative and enjoyable from beginning to end.
A special thank-you to our wonderful tour guide, Halawani, who truly made the experience memorable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, patient and professional. His passion for Egyptian history was clear, and he brought the stories and history of the ancient Egyptians to life in such an interesting and engaging way.
Halawani was also very attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. He gave us plenty of time to explore, take photographs and enjoy the incredible sights without ever feeling rushed. He was always happy to answer our questions and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience.
The Pyramids and Sphinx were breathtaking, and the Grand Egyptian Museum was equally impressive. Having such an excellent guide like Halawani made these incredible places even more special.

This was an amazing tour our guide Waleed meet the whole experience very pleasant. He was very knowledgable and provided a lot of history. He was also very helpful on guiding us to the crowds of the different areas and avoiding in pleasant people.
Waleed was a very experienced travel guide. We felt very safe and very well informed. The entire day was fluid and painless. We would definitely recommend Waleed to anyone that would like a tour in Egypt! He not only speaks fluent Arabic and English, he also speaks Mandarin!

We took this tour on June 27, and overall it was a great introduction to Cairo’s highlights. The itinerary included the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, a camel ride, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and a few shopping stops (jewelry and perfume stores—we chose to skip the papyrus shop). It was an enjoyable day, and we learned a lot about Egypt’s history. One thing to keep in mind is that if you’re visiting during the summer, it gets extremely hot, so be prepared with water, sunscreen, and light clothing. If you have flexibility, the cooler months would probably make the experience even better.
Our guide, Michael Kamal, deserves 5 stars. He was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the day. He answered our questions, shared interesting historical information, and helped make the experience enjoyable.
The areas that could make this an even better experience are mostly related to logistics rather than the guide. Before the tour, the operator lets you know that someone will contact you through WhatsApp, which is perfectly fine. However, during the process, messages may come from different phone numbers than the one you were initially given or expecting. As an international traveler, this can feel confusing at first and even make you wonder whether the messages are legitimate. I found myself asking for extra confirmation and preferred using the Viator platform whenever possible. A little more consistency in communication—or simply letting travelers know in advance that different team members may contact them from different numbers—would make the experience feel much more reassuring, especially for travelers who are unfamiliar with WhatsApp or don’t use it as their primary messaging app.
Another thing to keep in mind is that not everyone you interact with during the tour may speak English. We were able to communicate using Google Translate when needed, so it wasn’t a major issue, but it’s something international travelers should be aware of. I also think the itinerary could better account for the time spent at the shopping stops. We didn’t mind visiting them, but they made the day feel a little longer than expected.
My advice to future travelers is to come with an open mind and be patient. If you’re coming from a country where customer service tends to be very fast and highly structured, you’ll notice that things move at a different pace in Egypt. Once we adjusted our expectations and embraced the local rhythm, we enjoyed the experience much more. It’s simply a different culture and way of doing things.
Overall, I would recommend this tour. Michael deserves 5 stars, and my 4-star rating reflects a few logistical aspects of the tour operator rather than the guide himself. With clearer communication before the tour and a few small improvements to the overall logistics, this would easily become a 5-star experience.

Great Experience even though I took it in May when it was very hot. It's better to take it medio April. My guide was a true expert/ Egyptologist who was very serious and attentive, answering all questiona very professional and was flexible with the itinerary. Ronny (private tour guide on May 10, 10:00 am from Best View Pyramids Hotel in Giza)vis a very clever and gracious young man who I can recommend to anyone who wants a truly in depth guide through it all in Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum and an excellent succulent typical bufet lunch at a very nice restaurant in Giza. I wish this exceptional guide best of lucks in his great job.

Our Egyptologist Hossam El Ashmoni was brilliant. He wasn’t just knowledgeable but enthusiastic too, he was friendly and we enjoyed his company making the experience we actually paid for great, he gets 5*. Unfortunately the tour company included extra visits to shops we didn't request or want and as a result we were too exhausted to finish the tour, we would have chosen the Bazaar over the shops if we had been given the option. We also found their pricing to be confusing on Viator, we believed we had booked the all inclusive tour but were contacted by the company the night before saying we hadn’t. We can’t honestly say this was their fault but we booked more than one company for various tours whilst in Egypt and had no pricing issues with any of the others.

Amany and Mohamed were brilliant tour guides, very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. We were taken to a lovely place for lunch (drinks not included in the package) but we were given a bottle of water at the start of the tour.
Just to make everyone else aware that this package, although it says some things include entry, you are just buying the tour guide, transport, lunch, Nile boat and camel ride. No admission for any of the pyramids (even to get through the initial gate) or museum. It would be helpful if the booking information was clearer about this and also that you need to pre-book your own museum tickets for the 8.30am slot to give you the whole day entry plus choose ‘Arab and other nationals’ to select the right ticket type. Other than this, the whole day and experience was brilliant.

Regarding the admission tickets, we understand that the booking options can sometimes be a little confusing when selecting between the different packages. The only option that includes all entrance tickets is the one specifically labeled "All Inclusive", and this is indicated in the tour options and inclusions section during the booking process.

Michael, our tour guide was an amazing guide. His knowledge of egypt - past and near past was impressive. The tour itself was smooth and very informative. Our son had injured himself and both Michael and Essam (the driver) went out of their way to ensure he was comfortable and could make the most of the trip including through the Giza pyramids.
Michael walked us through the massive GEM with ease and knowledge. Being a private tour, it was very convenient. Highly recommend.

Had a great day exploring the pyramids, seeing the new museum and on the Nile felluca ride. Waleed was a great tour guide and the car was comfortable with good ride. We had a nice time and it was also very efficient and the timing was managed well. Would highly recommend!!!

We had Muhammed Waheed as our guide. He was amazing. Very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching us the history. We would give him a 5/5 rating as a guide. Mustafa was our driver. Also 5/5 rating. Very safe and reliable.
Pick the earliest time slot or you will run out of time. We started at 9am, and didnt have as much time as we wanted in the museum. However, if we had started at 7am, it would have been fine.
Two main problems that earned the lower rating. 1. Camel ride- We had to wait about 30 min for a ride. One of the reasons we booked a tour was to avoid this. It was very frustrating having to wait so long in the sun, when the tour said it would be prearranged.
2. Feluccia- We rode in a regular boat. When I asked why we weren't going in a Feluccia, Muhammed said they don't go as far down the river. That was very frustrating as part of the reason we went with this tour and not another was that we would be able to ride an actual feluccia. We rushed out of the museum to get there. Since the sun set around 6:30 the day we went, being there by 5 was definitely not necessary. We would have preferred more time in the museum.
I would not book this specific tour, since we didnt find it worth the money. Pick a tour that doesn't include the boat. It wasn't worth it to spend an hour in traffic to get there. The time would have been better spent in the GEM.

Regarding the camel ride, even though we always arrange and reserve it in advance, during the high season there can be a very large number of tourists at the camel riding area. In some cases, guests may still need to wait for an available camel despite the prior arrangement. This does not happen often, but unfortunately it can occur during particularly busy periods. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
Regarding the felucca ride, we would like to clarify that you did indeed ride a felucca. We normally operate traditional sail feluccas; however, when there is little or no wind, the felucca is operated using a motor instead of the sail. This allows the trip to continue safely and comfortably while following the planned itinerary. We understand there may have been some confusion, and we apologize if this was not clearly explained at the time.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the timing of the day and your wish to spend more time at the museum. Feedback like yours helps us continue improving our tours and guest experience.

We had an amazing private tour in Cairo, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Adham, and our driver, Hema, were both fantastic throughout the entire experience.
Adham was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a thorough and engaging overview at the Grand Egyptian Museum. His insights really brought the history to life. He also went above and beyond by taking some great photos of us at the pyramids and even helped arrange access for us to go inside one of them, which was unforgettable.
One of the highlights of the day was enjoying a delicious lunch while cruising on a small boat on the Nile — such a unique and relaxing experience. Throughout the tour, Adham consistently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, and his recommendations were always spot on.

Prior to booking was concerned, how we'd be able to hit the two major higlights of Cairo. However, with our exceptional Guide Bebo, we had an amazing experience.
We started at the GEM, where Bebo gave us an amazing highlgihts tour; thereafter heading to the Pyramids, where once again Bebo knew the tricks to get us the most effecient experience.
We chose the Horse Carriage over the camel ride, which is also an option. Lastly, the lunch that was included was great quality food, and would strongly recommend others to sign up for this experience.
The best part of the tour was as we were apporaching the Great Pyramids for the first time, our guide Bebo put on an Egyptian Vocal Trance track to help set-up the experience of seeing the Pyramids for the first time. Was truly a memorable highlight!
Overall, strongly recommend, and would specifically ask for Bebo as the guide.
