Budapest Walking Tour with Strudel!

Excellent walking tour of Budapest. Bonus was taking public transportation - both the train and bus! We saw many sights, our guide was excellent and answered many questions as well as provided insight about the Hungarian people and culture. The stop for strudel and drinks was a delight. We saw how the strudel was made, and it was a delicious treat! Our guide was also helpful in giving us ideas of things to do while we were in Budapest over the next few days.

Would do again!

Experiencing Budapest by Tuk Tuk was wonderful. My guide Peter G. Was well versed in the history, back stories and culture. I wish my tour could have been extended multiple hours, Peter’s knowledge was incredible and I found myself wanting to see and hear more of the Budapest life, local gastronomy favorites and the art scene. Our tour guide suggested starting at an earlier time than we booked the morning of due to the ticket office for the Basillica closing earlier. This would have been nice to know before the day of. Otherwise, Andrea was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. She was much more authentic than other guides and we learned a lot of history.

Beautiful views

It's a hit or miss where you will be seating on the cruise. We got there 25 minutes early and there was already a long line. There were two boats. We ended up being the last in the first group and was seated in front of a pole in the middle of the boat where our view was quite limited. We asked the woman if we could go on the second boat and she asked us to wait a few minutes. She ended up bringing two chairs to the front of the boat outside and we had the best view! Great customer service and it made our trip worthwhile. A must do when visiting Budapest.

Our Guide Susannah is HIGHLY recommended. She grew up in Budapest and had tremendous local knowledge. She was able to tell us many stories about the history of Budapest that were fascinating. She also spoke English fluently, and was a delightful person. It was 105 degrees on out tour, and she made sure we were in the shade, and using public transportation to maximize our sightseeing. Out of a scale of 1 to 10 we rate her a 12!!

Danube Night Cruise

My husband and I took the 9 p.m. Danube cruise. We boarded the ship and sat on the top deck with ease. The night cruise in July was breezing but not cold. We were served a drink to enhance our journey. As we cruised up and down the Danube, we were taking in all the breathtaking views of the surrounding buildings. It was just magical and beautiful.

Great way to get an overview of the city and the main attractions. Our guide Dora was knowledgable, friendly, answered our questions. Good combination of time in the van (with AC) and being able to walk/explore. Only 4 of us in total - 2 Spanish speakers, 2 English. Dora did a good job balancing between both.

Great tour for a first day in Budapest

This was a really good tour, perfect for a first day in Budapest if you want to get the lay of the city. Our tour guide was Zoltan, and he was great - very knowledgeable, well informed and nice. Also, the van he drove us around in was super comfortable and in great condition. We would 1000% recommend his services.
