Blue Ridge Parkway was...
Blue Ridge Parkway was closed at the time of our tour. David picked an alternate route and I'm not so sure it wasn't better than the planned trip.

This tour was AMAZING!...
This tour was AMAZING! Tony was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. His van was super clean and we felt very comfortable going through the mountains, which can be a little scary if you’re not used to it. The snacks and beverages he provided also came in handy as we didn’t get to eat breakfast at the hotel before leaving. The sites were simply breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour!

Tony is a great guide!...
Tony is a great guide! The hotel pickup is a great touch and takes the stress out of getting to and from the hikes. The spots he took us to were incredible. There is a lot of time in the car and not as much hiking, but overall it’s a great day and well worth it.

Good tour and guide
Very nice driving tour of the area. David, our guide was extremely knowledgeable of the area. He stopped repeatedly for photos and took his time with us (and our 86 year old mother with hearing problems).

Asheville
Morning light on the Lynn Cove Viaduct along the Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina.
  • The parkway’s speed limit never exceeds 45 mph (72 kph). Due to steep roads and occasional wildlife crossings, careful driving is essential.

  • There are plenty of stops along the way to sightsee, hike, or picnic—many travelers take four or five days to complete the whole route.

  • The weather along the parkway can vary greatly due to changes in elevation, so dress in layers.
