If you have time and want to see besides standard tours of 1 hours, this is a good opportunity.
The boat isn't the modernest one, but ok.

This was a relaxing cruise along the river, I'm not sure it went very much further than the other cruises as we seem to be going about half the speed of the other boats. But this did make for a relaxing trip and we were able to enjoy a small beer and a cup of coffee.

the seats were uncomfortable and three in a row were connected so you were connected to people you didn't know... uncomfortable and too tight .... then it got very hot so we went downstairs and there was no air conditioning, they said it was broken so we had to sit there in a stifling hot, no windows opened, smelled like fumes so we didn't burn in the sun up above.. very annoyed by that, would never ride on that type of set up again

Es tut uns leid, dass die East-Side-Tour und das Schiff nicht alle Erwartungen erfüllt hat. Die Verbindung zwischen den Stühlen soll verhindern, dass Fluchtwege und der Weg für die Servicekräfte verstellt ist. Für das schöne Wetter können wir nichts. In der Regel haben unsere Gäste wetterangepaßte Kleidung und genießen die Sicht vom Oberdeck. Für die anderen Gäste haben wir im unteren Salon Großbildschirme, auf denen man die Fahrt verfolgen kann. Sollte es ein technisches Problem gegeben haben, werden wir dieses schnerll beheben. Das Team der BWSG

Excellent in comprehensive tour. I highly recommend the 2 1/2 hour tour as one can see much more of Berlin. The views from the top deck are much better than inside the boat. Unfortunately, it’s a little more difficult to hear on the top deck.

Saw a lot of official buildings. It was nice being on the water (this was a boat cruise) but the tour was rather her boring.

On a clear day it’s a lovely ride. There is a lot to learn about Berlin and its history. The buildings, sculpture and impromptu graffiti and the end of the wall were all explained.

Try to book the day it does not rain because it was much different between upper and lower deck. Staff were friendly.

Nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Only downside was no food allowed to be taken onboard, but none available as all sold out.

Sicherlich ist es schwer, genau die Mitte zwischen Fakten und geschichtlichen Hintergründen zu treffen. Auch haben wir bei der Vielzahl der Sehenswürdigkeiten nur einen begrenzten Zeitreaum für Erklärungen in Deutsch und Englisch. Die Mehrzahl unserer Gäste war bisher immer sehr zufrieden. Excellent trip, very informative and an excellent way to view hard to get to sights. Easy to get to to using berlin card with public transport or hop on hop off busses. The only negative would be is that a wheel chair user would probably no be able to access this trip.

Lieber Fahrgast, danke für die konstruktive Kritik, die ja in jedem Fall immer etwas subjektiv ist. Immerhin erlebt man auf dieser East-Side-Tour das zweimalige Schleusen an der Historischer Gründungsstelle Berlins, unterquert die wohl schönste Brücke Berlins, die Oberbaumbrücke, bekommt den neuen Osthafen zu sehen, mit vielen, interessanten Gebäuden, mit dem Badeschiff und den Molekule Man. Dazu den neuen "Stadtteil" rund um die Uber Arena und das alternative Kulturzentrum Holzmarkt 25, direkt am Ufer der Spree....also ganz schön viel, für nur 8€ mehr, oder? Weiterhin viel Spaß in unserem wunderbaren Berlin. Das Team der BWSG

Sehr geehrter Kunde, es tut uns leid, dass Sie die Stadtbilderklärung als zu viel und zu lange empfunden haben. Die Tour dauert insgesamt 150min, der Redeanteil ist deutlich geringer. Alleine in den ca. 20min Schleusenzeiten wird z.B. nichts erklärt. Allerdings führt die Tour an sehr vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten vorbei, die nicht alle selbsterklärend sind. Die Mehrheit unserer Gäste schätz die Informationsvielfalt. Eine Beschwerde dieser Art hatten wir noch nie. Schade. Wir wünschen Ihnen weiterhin einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Berlin. This was an interesting trip along the Spree with commentary in German & English. The weather kept us inside but the views were still good and there was a beverage service on board.

Audio in English was clear and informative. Touring speed was perfect for taking lots of pictures. Service for drinks (we didn’t order from food menu) was good too! What a bonus to go inside a loch and also to be sitting down and still touch the bottom side of Berlin’s lowest bridge!

Nice boat ride if weather is good. We sat up top and enjoyed friendly drink service. We were happy that we took the longer 2 1/2 hour boat ride as 1 hour would be too short. Some reviews complained about comments being in German and English but we found that to be just fine and speaker was loud and clear.

Hello Viator, We booked our tickets 2 weeks in advance.Our tour was at 2.45pm on 10/6/2024.We went to the ticket booth and received our tickets,we waited in line to board.the queue was very long.We went to the upper deck and most of the tables and chairs were taken.There were still many "Reserved Tables and Chairs available.We sat at one of these tables.We were quiclky approached by a Waiter to move.We did.I said I was prepared to pay to stay and pay for the diference. He refused.We could only find seats that were facing towards the back of the boat.I suffer from severe motion sickness when travelling backwards and became severely sick.We did not know that you can buy reserved seats on top deck,from the wharf
booking booth.Also there is nothing in the online booking information that you can purchase Reserved Table and chairs. My cruise experience became non existent and disappointing.

I really enjoyed this tour and think it is superior to the 1 hour equivalents as they get to the lock and turn around- however, this tour goes much further south east and you get to see a number of the much more interesting and important points you may miss otherwise. We only wish we could have got off at the east side gallery for 5 minutes
