Maria was incredible—extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in the way she guided us through each step. She shared so much insight about Spain and its culture, which made the experience even more meaningful. Her talent truly shows in what she does, and she gives her full attention and care to every detail.

A Pan full of Fun with Maria
What a fun, educational experience. From the amazing Barcelona market shopping tutorial to the expert seafood Paella building experience, it was an evening of firsts. I didn't know that squeezing the spleen was a thing in the kitchen, or how to properly prep Prawns but Maria showed us the wonders of the Mediterranean cuisine. Lots of wine, great information, laughs and delicious Paella. If you're looking for a unique experience in Barcelona, this is it!

Perfect for Friends, Couples or Family!
What an amazing time! I highly recommend booking this experience if you’re traveling to Barcelona and want an authentic, engaging and fun experience. We did the evening session (5pm) and were a group of four. I honestly think this was a great time to do it! It was a great activity before booking a late dinner, which we happened to do. There ended up being 12 or 13 of us in total in the group, and it was so much fun. The experience started with multiple pitchers of homemade sangria, which Ben teaches you how to make yourself before jumping into a history of paella making, followed by diving into cooking! All cooking is voluntary, for example two of us were all in - slicing and mixing and stirring anything we could, and two of us were locked in on the sangria and beautiful views. There’s something for everyone here. The paella itself was delicious, and it was so easy to follow along with all of Ben’s comments and instructions. We’ll definitely be rebooking the next time we’re in town!

Fun cooking experience in Barcelona
Fun event. Tour of La Boqueria market followed by a Spanish tortilla and paella cooking class with wine and tapas served. Young and energetic host/chef kept everyone engaged. Was a small group, just my son and I, and a family of 4. Not very much hands on cooking, each group got to do one task for a dish overall cooked by the chef. Comfortable environment. Bit difficult to find the poorly marked entrance door.

For a Barcelona experience with a difference, opt for a Spanish cooking class. Shop for ingredients with your chef guide at a world-famous market before learning to make authentic paella or discover the art of creating delicious tapas with a glass of local wine. You can even craft your own Vermouth blend for a unique souvenir. Opt for a small-group experience and meet like-minded travelers or arrange a private class for extra attention to detail.
