Amazing! A must do! Amazing hosts! Amazing space and spectacular location. You are greeted outside by Alfonso and taken up to a spacious and gorgeous flat! Then, you are offered a glass of champagne, water or a soda. The table is prepped and ready for you to go. Before you start cooking you go up stairs to an amazing roof deck with a spectacular view of all of Barcelona. My teenagers loved it too they could not believe the whole place and experience. We are excited to get our recipes and Alfonso was an excellent teacher. A must due with Alfonso and his amazing colleague. The food was filling and delicious!. Everything you make you eat and it is all typical Spanish Tapas! Five stars!!! We loved the whole experience from start to finish. Eileen and Family from NJ. 4/6/26

An experience to remember! Gracious rooftop dining (weather permitting) and wonderful indoor culinary food preparation — both with amazing harbor and city views. Every tapa prepared and savored was delicious along with the lovely sangria. Alfonso is the consummate host, a great instructor and fabulous chef. Enjoyed our time in the rooftop garden, learning how to prepare our meal, dining and conversing with him. Don’t miss this unique experience!

Great hands-on experience! Chef Alfonso welcomed us into his home, creating a vibe of just hanging out, chilling over glasses of cava, admiring the view, and making tapas with ease. Preparations were casual, chopping up some veggies for gazpacho, peeling shrimp, rolling croquets and then, it all came together for a spectacular meal!
Left with a full stomach and confidence that we can make some delicious, authentic tapas!

What an amazing, intimate experience. We were welcomed into their home to learn to cook traditional Spanish dishes, then shared them on the beautiful rooftop overlooking the water. The recipes for each dish were shared after the class. Don't hesitate to book this experience, you will not be disappointed.

The class was amazing! The chef was very personable and explained things well. It was very interactive and they give you all the recipes as well. The food was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers. The home was beautiful with gorgeous views. Will definitely recommend to friends!

This was a great experience and a highlight of our trip to Barcelona. The hosts were wonderful. You are a guest in their home and you have the opportunity to make some of the most classical Barcelona tapas dishes from scratch including Spanish Omelet, croquettes, Russian salad, prawns, sangria and more. Wonderful rooftop to sit and relax and enjoy the creations together. Have been to Barcelona many times before, but this was one of the most wonderful experiences. You will not be disappointed by these gracious hosts and their amazing food and unique experience.

This class was a highlight of our time in Barcelona! We were welcomed by chef Alfonso at his home with a glass of champagne and a table set with local ingredients that he sourced for the meal. Alfonso provided great cooking instructions and taught us about the regional dishes we were preparing. We made several tapas and a tasty sangria. After making the meal, he took us to his stunning rooftop terrace, filled with greenery and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, to enjoy the meal with fellow travelers.
This was a lovely opportunity to immerse ourselves in Spanish culture and support locals who are passionate about what they do. Highly recommended booking for a memorable experience!

It was very well organized and prepared, and it was great fun to cook some typical Spanish specialties together with friends and other nice guests. The flavors were truly world class and after the course, you will also receive the recipes so that you can recreate the dishes at home easily. We were satisfied!

Wonderful experience to be invited into the host’s home. The apartment and terrace had beautiful views of the marina and barcelona! The food preparation was fun and Chef Alfonso was informative and well organized. The food variety was great and plenty to eat. Their dog Gray was friendly when he joined us after the meal preparation. Relaxing and pleasant experience for our group of four!

The whole experience was amazing! From start to finish, I came for my birthday and I don’t regret a thing! The food was amazing, especially the potato croquettes! The views of Port Vell and the rooftop lunch was a nice touch! Definitely would suggest this experience to my friends and loved ones!

The highlight of our time in Barcelona. Chef Alfonso and Txema are wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome as family. Chef’s demonstrations and instructions were informative and sprinkled with a dose of Spanish humor. The food was delicious and plentiful. Nobody in the group went hungry, or could even finish all their portions! Highly recommended. Next time we are in Barcelona we will visit again!

Absolutely amazing! Alfonso and Chema were so friendly and hospitable! They made us feel right at home in their beautiful waterfront apartment with amazing views. We enjoyed making, eating, and drinking authentic and delicious tapas and sangria. We enjoyed petting their pet dog, Ray, and talking to their bird, Coco! Definitely an unforgettable experience and our best “booked tour” that we had in Barcelona!

This was hands-down the best class my friends and I have ever taken! Being welcomed into his home made the experience feel so authentic—we truly felt like locals. We had an amazing experience! The food that we mad together was delicious and easily replicated for when we go back home. Our hosts were kind and patient with us. The rooftop view is probably the best in the city. We we weren’t able to finish all of the food that we made so we were given a little to go bag! It was amazing!

This cooking class was a full experience. It was relaxing, informative and warm. Not only was the food exceptional with great tips and tricks to bring home with recipes included, the inspiring apartment and rooftop terrace filled with plants and amazing views were beautiful and comfortable, and to top it off, Alfonso and Txema were incredible and generous hosts who were a total delight to spend time with. I can’t recommend them enough! This was exactly what we were looking for, a lovely memory made for us.
