What To Expect
Make your way to the rooftop space, located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Get to know your tango instructor and group of fellow dancers.
When everyone is ready, it’s time to dance. Don’t worry if you’ve never danced tango before, or if you think you have two left feet: Your professional tango dancer instructor will guide you through all the steps and movements. As you go, receive insights into the history and culture of tango.
By the end of the class, you will have learned an entire routine, which you and your partner dance while the sun sets over Barcelona. Cap off the experience with a round of included drinks.

Although tango is not a Spanish dance, it's Argentinian, this class was so much fun. Our instructor gave clear directions and wasn't afraid to make us laugh at ourselves. My husband and I really enjoyed this class and want to keep practicing our tango because of it. I was ~5 months pregnant and this class was still so fun!

Class was great. In a short time you learn a lot. This class is a must if you want to learn the first steps of tango. They make sure you learn the first 5 steps and the more class participation the better. Highly recommend this class.

We had such a fun time doing this lesson. With George’s great tuition the steps were easy to follow and very enjoyable. Plenty of laughs to go along with the whole experience. And making new friends and enjoying the refreshing drinks on the roof before and after, I would easily rate this 10 out of 5 if it let me!

This was an AMAZING experience with my husband! The location was easy to get to, and it was a great atmosphere. Paula is an incredible teacher – very friendly, hospitable, and fun to be around. The class was beginner friendly, and we felt super accomplished with our routine by the end of the class. This was our favorite activity from our entire trip to Spain! HIGHLY recommend!!

The dance class was absolutely fantastic. The instructor brought incredible energy and patience, making the movements easy to follow while still keeping things exciting and challenging. This lesson was absolutely amazing! It was very hot on the night of, so we did the lesson inside. It was still so so fun and we were able to spend about 30-45 minutes outside on the patio to watch the sunset. The lesson itself was so fun and filled with laughter and smiles. George made us feel so comfortable in trying something new and by the end of it everyone was making jokes with each other. Would without a doubt recommend this to anyone staying in Barcelona!

This experience was amazing especially for the price. Our dance instructor George was a professional dancer with years of experience and you could tell. I cannot dance at all and by then end I could. He was also hilarious and there was plenty of wine and beer.

Taking a tango class with Paula was one of the absolute highlights of our trip! From the moment we walked in, she created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere—it felt less like a class and more like being invited into a beautiful experience. She kicked things off with a welcome drink and a fascinating overview of the history of tango, which added so much depth and meaning to the dance.
What made the lesson truly special was Paula’s ability to blend fun, movement, and education so seamlessly. She’s not only incredibly talented but also a natural teacher who makes you feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn. I especially appreciated learning about the differences between tango and other dances—something I’d never even thought to consider before.
We laughed, we danced, and we left with a video of our final steps (so sweetly filmed by Paula herself). If you're looking for something joyful, memorable, and a little different—this class is an absolute must. Paula is magic!!

George was an excellent instructor. We went with two couples. My brother and I brought our partners to the class. My brother and I can’t dance at all lol but the instructor was very patient and broke it down for us. We had a great time. The drinks helped us loosen up for the class. By the end, I felt like a little professional and we even got to perform for the class. They are LGBTQ friendly as well which was a plus for me as I am in a same sex relationship.

My husband and I had such a lovely time learning some Argentine tango with Jorge and Paula! Their place was so easy to get to and space was so cozy. And getting access to their rooftop was extra special! Jorge was a fantastic and entertaining teacher. He created a fun routine that was broken up into easily digestible steps so that even the most beginners could learn. Don't miss out on this excellent experience!
