Marco was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Spoke and understood English very well. He gave us an excellent tour of the market and then helped us make a delicious meal in the wonderful, clean, and fully equipped kitchen including tomato bread, gazpacho, potato and egg dish, seafood paella, and crema catalana. We had a fun time, learned a lot, helped with preparing everything, and ate amazing food. The bottled waters and wine were much appreciated as well. We were a party of 4 (couple + two older teens). Highly recommend!

We met Marcos, our chef and what a great experience we had. The four of us walked over to the Boqueria with him and he gave us such a knowledgeable tour. He gave us some fabulous recommendations for places that had high-quality spices at reasonable prices. The class itself was very fun and interesting. Interesting terminating with wonderful food and wine we prepared together.

This was the best meal we had in Barcelona - & we made it ourselves! Pamela was patient & very knowledgeable. We absolutely loved going through St Josep la boqueria with her guiding us & telling us what to watch for when buying from vendors. We are a family that likes to cook together so booking this was obvious. I didn't expect this experience to exceed all of our expectations!

As a host, Pamela was knowledgeable, and calmly entertaining. I went with my 10-year-old son and we were in a group of approx 14 adults. The market trip was an amazing experience and Pamela was able to share insights that we otherwise would not have known. It was a fantastic experience for my son, who had huge curiosity, but equally as interesting for me. Back at our cooking location, the workstations and workload were shared well. We learned how to cook 4 courses, which I believe is more than many other courses available, and Pamela kept a steady flow of wine for the adults. The cooking was a lot of hands-on fun, we both had an experience that we will keep with us forever.

I’ve been to a few cooking classes in Barcelona — and this one is THE BEST. Worth every penny! Quality instruction. And if you can go to the market portion in the beginning, do it. I’ve now taken this class twice. Would not hesitate to go again on my next trip to Barcelona.

This experience was absolutely PHENOMENAL! My teenagers and I enjoyed it to the max. Marco was warm, funny, and incredibly hospitable. The trip to the market was lovely - we learned so many of the ins and outs of the market as well as key insights into traditional food. Marco really helped us all feel comfortable hopping in to cook together. The different dishes we made were absolutely delicious, too! Do not hesitate for a second to book this experience!

What a great way to spend your day in Barcelona!! Carlos was the best ever! His knowledge of cuisine and culture of Spain was enlightening. We learned so much. The market tour was a must see. Don’t miss this part! Carlos was not rushed, took time to explain it all and answer all questions. While some cooking classes are shorter, take the time for this class if you want to learn! The relaxed atmosphere and the class space are perfect. The food and (abundant!)wine was superb. I am a professional chef in the US. This class is a must for all! We are ready to cook a full Catalonian meal. Thank you Carlos for an experience we will always remember♥️
