We had so much fun with Juan….he’s quite a character! The food was super yummy, we leaned how to make it all and had a great time doing it. We don’t drink alcohol and Juan accommodated that well without making us feel foolish for not drinking (which happens sometimes). Definitely recommend!

We were fortunate to have a private experience learning to cook paella (and other delicious dishes) with Yohannes. He was a delight and we had a fun time learning about Spanish cuisine as well as his path as a chef in Barcelona. We would highly recommend this class and would definitely do this again on our next trip!

Very good experience. We had a small group of 6 people in this class. 3 couples. One from California, one from Texas and us from Kentucky. It was a great evening. Johan was very good in shoeing us how to make a 4 course meal.

This was such a fun experience! We aren’t technical cooks and they made it very easy for us. It was a small group (2 couples) and Yohannes was very interactive and great. Will recommend!

We had a great experience cooking an interactive 4 course meal. The chef walked us through prep, knife skills and finishing. The chef is passionate about food. Great food, good fun and Wine! A must do.

This was great! So relaxed, friendly, and informative.
Kitchen aprons are provided so you don't have to worry about getting dirty. This was more like family/ friends getting together to learn new cooking skills.

We had an amazing time in this cooking class with Candi! We learned a ton and will definitely be making these dishes at home. Had fun socializing with other people in our small group as well. Candi was great at engaging the kids and giving them some independence which they LOVED! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend doing this cooking class. Chef was very accommodating and kept our group together in same class. Would advise if have people who prefer non seafood to include that request in booking

I had the absolute pleasure of taking a paella cooking class in Barcelona with Juan, and he was truly the heart and soul of the experience. From the moment we walked in, his energy was infectious—he made everyone feel instantly welcome and excited to learn. Juan is not only incredibly knowledgeable about Spanish cuisine, but he’s also a natural entertainer with a warm, genuine personality that made the class unforgettable. Absolutely wonderful. Only 4 people si very intimate. It felt like family cooking for the Holidays. Juan is an excellent chef and teacher and his humor was very much appreciated. Everything we cooked tasted wonderful.

Instructor is VERY knowledgeable and happy to share. My husband is a serious cook and he learned a lot. I don’t cook, but still had a wonderful time and the food we prepared tasted great.

Barcelona Cooking’s Paella class was a great time for our five ladies. It was welcoming, organized, and clean. Sonia was such a great leader to our cooking adventure. Was a great experience The chief was very user friendly. We did 3 dishes. Could have done without the Spanish omelet.
Would give this a 5. But way too much salt was used.
