This was the best cooking class that hubby & I attended. Our chef Sonia clearly knew & tested every recipe as evidenced by the unique cooking tips that she added to the discussion. In addition she had wonderful patience when answering a multitude of questions. Highly recommend this cooking class and chef.

This was absolutely the best thing to do if you like/ love/ have to cook!
Antonio is hilarious and very engaged! I learned some tricks and am looking forward to reseasoning my paella pans and making gazpacho from our cucumbers. I might make everything just bc it was so good and SO professionally instructed. Our group of 11 was fun!

The chef and food were great. However, my group of 3 did absolutely bare minimum of cooking. The chef overlooked us for nearly the first 1hr; he frequently gave the other groups cooking tasks while we just watched on with literally nothing to do. Also, the unlimited wine only starts an hour in (I get it some safety concerns) however that should be better indicated.
The class was a lot of fun. We enjoyed cooking with the host in addition to the other attendees of the class. My only issue would be with the wine. Its advertised as "bottomless" wine, but, I think we were only really offered wine once which was then put away. We had to keep asking if we wanted refills.

Everything about this class was fun, educational and delicious. Antonio, who was our chef and host for the night, was absolutely marvelous. He explained everything we were doing and couldn’t do enough for us. When we were finished, our meal was absolutely superb. Highly recommend this.

This was hands-down the Juan and only cooking class to take in Barcelona! Chef Juan was funny, welcoming, and an incredible teacher. We loved making gazpacho, pan con tomate, Spanish omelet, seafood paella, and the most delicious crema Catalana. No Juan-der this class is so highly rated. We’d recommend it to everyone visiting Barcelona!

We were 6 people and we cooked paella, Spanish crème brûlée, Spanish tortilla, Gazpacho and Pan con tomate. We hadn’t met with the people before however it still felt like having a dinner with family. Juan was very funny and friendly from the beginning and the other 2 couples were nice also. We were very lucky. If I would describe the night in one word, it would be JUANderful.😌

We had so much fun with Juan….he’s quite a character! The food was super yummy, we leaned how to make it all and had a great time doing it. We don’t drink alcohol and Juan accommodated that well without making us feel foolish for not drinking (which happens sometimes). Definitely recommend!

He was a delight and we had a fun time learning about Spanish cuisine as well as his path as a chef in Barcelona. Very good experience. We had a small group of 6 people in this class. 3 couples. One from California, one from Texas and us from Kentucky. It was a great evening. Johan was very good in shoeing us how to make a 4 course meal.

This was such a fun experience! We aren’t technical cooks and they made it very easy for us. It was a small group (2 couples) and Yohannes was very interactive and great. Will recommend!
We had a great experience cooking an interactive 4 course meal. The chef walked us through prep, knife skills and finishing. The chef is passionate about food. Great food, good fun and Wine! A must do.

This was great! So relaxed, friendly, and informative.
Kitchen aprons are provided so you don't have to worry about getting dirty. This was more like family/ friends getting together to learn new cooking skills.

We had an amazing time in this cooking class with Candi! We learned a ton and will definitely be making these dishes at home. Had fun socializing with other people in our small group as well. Candi was great at engaging the kids and giving them some independence which they LOVED! Highly recommend!

Highly recommend doing this cooking class. Chef was very accommodating and kept our group together in same class. Would advise if have people who prefer non seafood to include that request in booking

I had the absolute pleasure of taking a paella cooking class in Barcelona with Juan, and he was truly the heart and soul of the experience. From the moment we walked in, his energy was infectious—he made everyone feel instantly welcome and excited to learn. Juan is not only incredibly knowledgeable about Spanish cuisine, but he’s also a natural entertainer with a warm, genuine personality that made the class unforgettable. He had us laughing, learning, and fully immersed in the process from start to finish. It felt less like a class and more like cooking with a lifelong friend. Absolutely wonderful. Only 4 people si very intimate. It felt like family cooking for the Holidays. Juan is an excellent chef and teacher and his humor was very much appreciated. Everything we cooked tasted wonderful.
