Miguel our host was amazing, we had 5 in our group which was a nice. We made 4 cocktails which were delicious, had selection of tapas, there was music playing and we were all singing, it was a really fun experience. Left feeling happy and tipsy, highly recommend.

I did this solo, it was a great way to meet people and our teacher was personable and so fun. They don’t skimp on the amount of cocktail or tapas you receive. Four FULL cocktails, cava and so many tapas that we left a lot behind.
I would’ve preferred different cocktails that are from Spain- we did an espresso martini which was honestly just ok but at least gave European vibe. A pornstar martini- why? A margarita- ok maybe in Mexico but not good lol. And then we did a tequila sunset (not sunrise) which is supposedly from the area so we’ll let it pass! Would’ve preferred a tinto de Verano or sangria or something closer to what locals drink.
Tapas were just ok, but there was a huge cockroach in the bar that one of the patrons had to kill!
If you’re looking for a fabulous time and are fine with just ok cocktails, do this!

We were looking for something a little different to do in the evening and we got this one really right. Dara, our mixologist, was very informative, entertaining and fun. We had a great time. We picked up some tips and tricks and there was even impromptu dancing. I would highly recommend this activity.

What sticks with me about this class isn't just the drinks (though they were solid) — it's Darragh's energy. He's one of those people who seems to genuinely enjoy making strangers have a good time together, and it works. No awkwardness, no stuffiness, just a roomful of people shaking cocktails and laughing. If you're in Barcelona and want something that's not another bar crawl, this is it.

Learn how to make and enjoy 4 delicious cocktails in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. Host was fun and engaging, and played music as we shook, stirred, and muddled the most incredible drinks. Tasty tapas also served. Highly recommend this experience!!!!

It was an absolute blast! Our bartender was fantastic, making the experience personalized and intimate with a small group. We all had a great time, and the drinks were simply amazing. If you’re planning a trip to Barcelona, I highly recommend this tour.

Had the most fantastic experience, Darragh was a brilliant host. He was super knowledgeable about the history of all the cocktails we made, as well as having a lot of funny stories. I went on my own and was made to feel so included by both the others in my group and by Darragh. Definitely worth the money with 4 cocktails, ranging from sour, savoury and sweet, and very yummy tapas.
So happy I chose to do this on my trip to Barcelona, and would definitely recommend to everyone going.

The class and Tapas were fine. We were late getting started because a group was very late. Weade general cocktails that you can find anywhere though. That was a bit disappointing. Spain makes great vermouth, so we thought we would use some things specific for the region. We could have possibly learned a sangria with all of the beautiful fruit in the market. We dis cosmopolitan, margaritas, espresso martini and one other normal cocktail.

I was the only one booked for this tour so had to shift to their tapas and wine tour and I’m quite happy that happened. Andrew led our boisterous group thru town and we had such fun. Definitely recommend!

This experience was very disappointing. My guess is that it very much has to do with the host you get. Our “bartender” interacted very little with us. Have no idea what his name was and he only talked to us to give us a recipe for the drink we were making. “Two of these one of these…”. No explanation of the drinks, any technique besides shaking etc. he basically did not talk to the group and just handed out clean glasses and ingredients. Then promptly kicked us out after the last drink. He clearly did not want to be doing this class. The four drinks were very pedestrian. Since we were taking this class in Spain we were expecting Spanish cocktails, not a daiquiri, pina colada and a mojito. Sweet syrup was used instead of fresh fruit and sprite instead of tonic. The tapas arrived after three drinks and were ok but nothing great. Overall very underwhelming for the money we paid. Fortunately the group we ended up with was nice so we got to at least talk to people since our host ignored us.

We had a great time once it got started. We arrived early and no one seemed to know another about the class. We were told to come back twice. The second time will come back, we were offered a complimentary drink. The class was only 4 people. We vibe and had a great time. Help each other mix drink. The tapas could have been more. We were told we would get the drink recipes and we didn't, so who is reading this please send them.

Simon was a great instructor, this class needs more advertisement. The four drinks you learn are heart drinks but the way class is ran is better. You have to be go in the moment and have fun. Let him teach you the way he wants and the class is great. I would take this class every time I came back. To barecola it is that much fun. Just let lose and be yourself and you will have a good time.

We booked this cocktail-making class for a bachelorette party, and it was such a fantastic experience! Our guide, Lupe, was incredibly kind, interactive, and so much fun – she really made the whole evening special. We learned how to make some amazing cocktails (and enjoyed drinking them just as much) and the tapas were absolutely delicious!

The person doing this class was very nice but the recipes for basic cocktails were terrible. For example, they used Sprite in a Mojito and instead of fresh or frozen strawberries in a Strawberry Daquari, an extremely sweet strawberry syrup was used. My husband felt all of the liquors were watered down.

Very good value for the price!! Made 4 nice cocktails, were given cava beforehand and a shot during the class. For 6 drinks it was a great price! We were taken to a very small private bar in the Gothic quarter and given a variety of tapas. Our teacher (Jordy) even went out for a drink with our small group afterwards! Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to make friends, learn a new skill, and have an affordable night out.
