The class and Tapas were fine. We were late getting started because a group was very late. Weade general cocktails that you can find anywhere though. That was a bit disappointing. Spain makes great vermouth, so we thought we would use some things specific for the region. We could have possibly learned a sangria with all of the beautiful fruit in the market. We dis cosmopolitan, margaritas, espresso martini and one other normal cocktail.

I was the only one booked for this tour so had to shift to their tapas and wine tour and I’m quite happy that happened. Andrew led our boisterous group thru town and we had such fun. Definitely recommend!

This experience was very disappointing. My guess is that it very much has to do with the host you get. Our “bartender” interacted very little with us. Have no idea what his name was and he only talked to us to give us a recipe for the drink we were making. “Two of these one of these…”. No explanation of the drinks, any technique besides shaking etc. he basically did not talk to the group and just handed out clean glasses and ingredients. Then promptly kicked us out after the last drink. He clearly did not want to be doing this class. The four drinks were very pedestrian. Since we were taking this class in Spain we were expecting Spanish cocktails, not a daiquiri, pina colada and a mojito. Sweet syrup was used instead of fresh fruit and sprite instead of tonic. The tapas arrived after three drinks and were ok but nothing great. Overall very underwhelming for the money we paid. Fortunately the group we ended up with was nice so we got to at least talk to people since our host ignored us.

We had a great time once it got started. We arrived early and no one seemed to know another about the class. We were told to come back twice. The second time will come back, we were offered a complimentary drink. The class was only 4 people. We vibe and had a great time. Help each other mix drink. The tapas could have been more. We were told we would get the drink recipes and we didn't, so who is reading this please send them.

Simon was a great instructor, this class needs more advertisement. The four drinks you learn are heart drinks but the way class is ran is better. You have to be go in the moment and have fun. Let him teach you the way he wants and the class is great. I would take this class every time I came back. To barecola it is that much fun. Just let lose and be yourself and you will have a good time.

We booked this cocktail-making class for a bachelorette party, and it was such a fantastic experience! Our guide, Lupe, was incredibly kind, interactive, and so much fun – she really made the whole evening special. We learned how to make some amazing cocktails (and enjoyed drinking them just as much) and the tapas were absolutely delicious!

The person doing this class was very nice but the recipes for basic cocktails were terrible. For example, they used Sprite in a Mojito and instead of fresh or frozen strawberries in a Strawberry Daquari, an extremely sweet strawberry syrup was used. My husband felt all of the liquors were watered down.

Very good value for the price!! Made 4 nice cocktails, were given cava beforehand and a shot during the class. For 6 drinks it was a great price! We were taken to a very small private bar in the Gothic quarter and given a variety of tapas. Our teacher (Jordy) even went out for a drink with our small group afterwards! Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to make friends, learn a new skill, and have an affordable night out.

Very nice activity! Jordi was the best host ever! We were 9 girls and he made a very nice and fun night out of it. Beaware that locals in the neighbourhood aren't fond of tourist so we were kick out of the bar for being loud after our cocktailclass. Which is out of the ordinary coming from Denmark.

We felt like an afterthought. While our experience the day before was comfortable and well thought out, this felt like they were just fitting us in. In fact the first thing we were told is that the evening had been overbooked and they weren’t even really expecting any bookings. We were very dissapponted the cocktails had no local flavor and were the drinks we could have made in the USA. Of the 3 Viator tours we did this trip, this was not our favorite.

Amazing staff and an unforgettable experience! Kiki led the class with great knowledge of cocktail history and history in general and had a great personality that made the evening so much fun. Simmon, another great bartender, honored us with 2 of his creations: the Swedish Summer and Swedish Winter, which was my class highlight. I highly recommend this experience to anyone living in or visiting Barcelona!

Fantastic cocktail making experience. The cocktails themselves were delicious, especially the new Swedish Summer cocktail, but the highlight for us was the banter with the staff. Kiki who runs the class, Vigo who developed the Swedish cocktail and Latvian, Argentinian and Irish colleagues too. The tapas were amazing as well. We would be happy to come back here tomorrow, the next day, the day after... It was great!

We're from the United States and we are big cocktail drinkers - old fashioneds, gimlets, martinis, sazeracs,whiskey sours, dark and stormy - you name it. We went to this because we had done wine and tapa tours in Madrid and Seveille, and this looked fun and (slightly) different. First, there are cocktails THEN tapas. I mistakenly thought it was a pairing thing - it was not. So don't be afraid when you're two cocktials in before the tapas come out (they are not the strongest, but if you're just used to wine or beer and didn't eat like us, then prepare for that). Second, the cocktails we made were almost fully out of a "Sex and the City" menu, which was hilarious to us. Cosmo, magarita, raspberry mojito, and espresso martini. We're mostly whiskey and gin people, but hey, when in Barcelona. Third, we were the only foreign tourists on this tour. The rest of the folk were from Spain and the ones we spoke to said this was the second or third cocktail experience they have ever had. Wild to us, but when you're wine is really good, I guess that makes sense. It was a fun time, going through the movements of making the drinks, talking and laughing about drink culture, and our Spainish colleagues helping us learn about their city while we tried to help them with their cocktails. It was different than we thought it would be but honestly a great time.

What a fantastic experience! We had Lupe as our bartender masterclass instructor, and she was absolutely amazing. She took the drink-making experience to a whole new level, teaching us all the basics and showing us how to perfect each cocktail. My husband and I did the class together, and having people from all over the world join us made it even more enjoyable and lively. The drinks were delicious, and the whole experience was fun, social, and one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Highly recommend it!
