- We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
- All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security
- As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately, is requested for entrance to the Sagrada Familia Basilica. No tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals will be accepted. Also Visitors will not be allowed to enter with special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities.
- Please, be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure time
- Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.
- The Sagrada Familia kindly requests that visitors refrain from wearing or displaying any religious symbols upon entry. Please note that failure to comply may result in denial of entry.
- Bringing documentation for children is mandatory. Admission staff may request official documentation to verify the children’s age (ID, Passport, etc). If this documentation is not provided, the payment of the difference corresponding to the adult rate may be required.

Very nice experience. Our guide was very good at sharing his information wit the group. He even gave us advice on a great place to eat near by.
Really good. Supplied with headset and microphone and could clearly hear everything the guide said.
Note there is security to the church, and they are more strict with items in your bag!
The meeting place ( Julia travel ) also has one toilet available, but it's a long queue. Use the ones at 5 guys or McDonalds just down the road. Note you will need the code to enter the toilets, which is on the receipt.
Great experience using Julia Travel for our visit to the Sagrada Família. Our guide was very knowledgeable and also was especially great helping us navigate the entrance to the basilica with a stroller. Would definitely recommend, especially if you can’t get tickets from the city website.

Narrator was great. Hearing the history is what made it worthwhile. Very disappointed the inside I didn’t feel anything no reverence nothing is like there was no soul.
Unfortunately, the guided tour was not worth the price we paid. We expected a smoother skip-the-line experience, but still waited about 15/20 minutes before going through a lengthy security process, and the tour didn’t really get started until after 4:45.
The biggest issue was the guided portion itself. We were given radios to listen to our guide, but the audio quality was terrible and we could barely understand what she was saying. Several people tried explaining the issues, but they were never really resolved. The guide also spent a lot of time explaining things in one area, which made the experience feel slow and overwhelming. Eventually, a large portion of the group left the guided tour altogether.
We ultimately returned our radios and explored the Sagrada Família on our own—and honestly, we enjoyed it much more that way. We were able to move at our own pace, see more, and actually enjoy the experience.
The Sagrada Família itself is beautiful and absolutely worth seeing. However, based on the price we paid, the guided tour experience was disappointing and did not feel worth the extra cost. If I were to visit again, I would skip the guided tour and explore independently.
There is no way to describe this place... Our guide was excellent in providing details and background. But the minute you walk in you are overwhelmed! Our guide rushed us to a good spot for viewing the lights on the western cringe when the sun shifted. This is a must see!
It was nice to do with a guide. So much to see and learn. Not easy to do on your own if you want to know all history. Our guide was very informative.
skip the line does not mean that you do not have to go on a long queue to go through security. Sagrada is formidable and a guide will certainly give you information that you would not have otherwise. Our guide had a strong Catalan accent and was hard to understand. Also the group consisted of 26 people and was too large to feel like you were getting all the information available.
There was no Skip the Line.. waited 20 minutes in the hot sun in a line up to get in and there were 2 line up’s on each side of us that would jump the queue. Buy your own tickets and download the app.
Worth your time. 100%. Creative art on a huge scale. Dedicated to the spirit. Our guide filled in much of the understanding.

La Sagrada Família was a spectacular and must-see site when in Barcelona, but the tour was less than stellar. There were about 20-25 people per group, and we were given audio headsets. The majority of the time was spent making sure that people weren’t getting lost rather than explaining the history behind La Sagrada Família. Would recommend a smaller group tour that is focused more on history and background of the church.
So worth the money to have a guide - Albert - he was great, so very knowledgable and enthusiastic. You need a guide to get the full experience of the Basilica

Segrada is an architectural marvel, definitely worth seeing. The tour company and the tour was okay, quite disorganized and a bit chaotic with a large group and no microphones or headphones. Our tour guide was excellent
Tour guide was excellent. Easy to understand. Some time was spent waiting in line to go through security, but you can stay after the tour as long as you wanted.
Besides, allowing us to skip the line, that was the only thing positive out of this excursion. Most people left the tour early.

Such an impressive masterpiece and it’s worth doing this tour to learn about so many details you might never catch on your own. The history, the intention, the thoughtfulness behind every detail is unbelievable.
Sagrada Família is amazing and worth seeing. The tour itself was a 20 minute tour that was stretched to over an hour. Our guide barely spoke English and could not use the microphone well - the system kept screeching in everyone’s ears. And the security is worse than any airport I’ve ever flown through.
This was terrible. Monotoned non engaging. All over the place . English was not spoken well. Confusing and no flow. Ive done a similar tour and this was not good what so ever
I really enjoy guided tours, skip the lines, low stress, and great information. With this one, you could stay and spend more time after the tour if you wanted to. Well worth the money! Our guide was great!
