Our tour was truly wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Destination was well planned, and the entire trip was smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. A special thank you to our tour guide for being knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and always ready to help.

Wow…just wow. I took the tour this morning, and it exceeded all my expectations of any previous tour I have done. Jono, our guide, has an incredible local knowledge and was telling us interesting facts for the whole journey. I found his ability to speak some Māori and explain the traditional links with all the places we visited particularly insightful. This tour takes you out of the CBD and into the suburbs; something you don’t get with the hop-on-hop-off buses. This really was the best way to get a sense of the “real Auckland”. We drove out to the harbour, Northshore, Mount Eden, and then along the coastline to beautiful little beaches at Mission Bay and St. Helier’s, (as well as lots of other places) Designated stops have been put on for photo opportunities and time to soak up the scenery. It was a lovely small group of 6 travellers, which made the van nice and spacious. I honestly cannot recommend this tour more highly, I feel this should be a must on your Auckland itinerary. I spent the whole tour dreaming of what lovely little suburb I’d like move to 😂.

Exciting day! The caves and the glow worms were once in a lifetime to see. Hobbiton and the entire experience was fascinating. Whether you saw the movies or not, it’s a definite must see. Rachael, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The information provided was detailed and informative. Great day! Thank you!!

We had a fantastic day trip from Auckland to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. Our guide, David, made the experience even better with his great commentary throughout the drive and at each stop. He gave us plenty of time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the locations without feeling rushed. Lunch was also well prepared and tasty, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a well‑organized tour with a knowledgeable guide — highly recommended.

Matt was a great guide who arrived for pickup up on time and made the journey interesting with his commentary. Hobbiton is incredible, even if you aren’t a super fan it is worth the trip. The scenery is stunning and the guides are fun and knowledgeable. I highly recommend for anyone wanting a Hobbiton day trip from Auckland.

Incredible experience, beautiful views that the entire family enjoyed. We have kids aged from 10-15 and all had a great time. The guide, Adil, was very informative throughout the drive and provided the history of New Zealand and made the trip especially memorable.

Great tour and amazing experience! It was an early day as there is quite a bit of driving but our guide stopped a couple of times and was attentive to what the group wanted. The Waitomo caves were so cool and a fun story and local guide. Te Puie was a great demonstration, geyser viewing and even got to see some kiwi birds. A long day but well worth it!!

Great tour of Auckland! Danny, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the city and shared stories and history of the area and people. We had wonderful views of the entire city and waterways from the tops of two volcanoes and drove through beautiful neighborhoods. We learned about the origins of the city and people. A tour well worth taking if coming to Auckland!
