We had Blair and Audrey...
We had Blair and Audrey as our tour guides. Both were wonderful!! Blair did his best to give us views of wildlife and provide history and information about the area. He even drove the boat through the hole! Audrey made sure we were all comfortable and was on the look out for wildlife. She was eager to share her knowledge and information.
Highly recommend this tour, request Blair and Audrey for a very fun adventure.

Hoke in the rock tour
We boarded the boat in Russell. We were the last people to board as most people boarded in Paihia. We sat below which I normally don’t like because I get a bit seasick. The windows were all open though and I could get up and walk around so it was fine. I actually felt less seasick then when I went up top!
The captain was very informative and we learned a lot. The staff, Audrey and Bluebell were so nice!!
We enjoyed the hike up on one of the islands, beautiful views!
The island where we spent an hour was nice bit if you want to eat lunch and snorkel if wasn’t long enough. Personally I would skip the snorkeling and take a short walk.
I would definitely recommend this tour!

A great overview.
Very well done and very organized. It was a breeze to connect at the wharf and our driver Dyson was very knowledgeable about all the things. Beautiful visit to Kauri forest, then waterfalls, then a little side trip for chocolate factory and a wood workshop with some lovely pieces. Finale was glow worm caves which were interesting. Then back to the wharf with plenty of time to make the tender! A good day was had by all!

Return visit 25 years on and still great.
Awesome experience. Highly recommend. The boat was very comfortable and clean toilets. We were not full so loads of inside and outside seating. Leftside is best side to sit on. The island stop over was great, time for a swim or hike up the hill for even better views. Lunch included was ok but you can buy hot food etc at the restaurant. The captain was excellent his commentary was very informative and we went looking for dolphins on the way back which we found. A wonderful end to a great excursion. Thankyou Fullers.

Far North tour
The bus driver was excellent and very informative. Even though the weather was inclement we had a great day. The lunch was great. Unfortunately other travellers need to be aware of pickup times and ensure they are ready ontime. Myself and my husband were left standing at our pickup point for 40 minutes in the rain.
Well worth doing

Peaceful sailing.
Our day was one of the best excursions we’ve ever had. Weather was perfect and the sail was so peaceful. Thank you Captain Mike for your expert handling and great hospitality. We won’t forget this day. And thanks to everyone who assisted us in assuring we were back on the ship on time. Word to cruisers, be sure you allow lots of time to meet your tour as it is a tender, shuttle to the beach and then a walk to meet up. Took us over an hr. Rachael and Mike were on top of trying to get us back on time also. Wonderful last day to our trip to NZ.

Must do sailing trip!!!
One of the highlights of our trip to NZ! Even though several passengers on the trip cancelled last minute, Brad and Monique still took just a small group of 4 out! We had the whole boat to ourselves. Beautiful day exploring the Bay of Islands with a delicious lunch! Definitely beats the excursion from the cruise line!

Great cruise and swimming
Take your swimming things! Really enjoyable half day out on the water. We really enjoyed the cruise and the commentary - and were very lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins cross our route. The lunch stop was great, had a lovely dip. We took our own picnic but the kind that could’ve preordered looked really nice too

Highly recommend
This was a great experience, the grounds are walking distance from the Waitangi wharf, if you arrive by tender from a cruise ship. We really enjoyed ourselves and walked through the grounds and museum buildings. There is detailed information about the history of the relationship between the Máori and the British, with lots of photos, videos (reenactments), paintings and drawings. We attended a fascinating cultural experience where we took quite a few photos and were very impressed and entertained.
Highly recommend

We had a lovely trip out...
We had a lovely trip out to see the Bay of Islands and the Hole in the Rock. We were lucky enough that the conditions were suitable for the boat to go through the hole in the rock, which was a highlight. Would recommend when stopping at the Island to walk up to the view point to see excellent views.

Still Smiling
We were wondering how an 82 and 79 year old could be accommodated but we had the great assistance of Ben and crew. The weather was perfect and it took all the rest of the day to relax the smiles on our faces. Of all the choices we had that sunny day we picked the best. There is not a negative word to be said. I recommend this adventure to all reading this account

A must do activity if you’re a thrill seeker
This was one of our top 5 favorite activities during our 3 week trip to New Zealand. Definitely for the thrill seekers. Loved the music and we even got lucky with a dolphin pod who followed us! Really fun and with it! When looking at all the other boats around I kept thinking we were on the best boat for a thrilling sightseeing adventure
