A Delicious Day
It was great (easy!) way to get out of Auckland for the day, especially as a solo traveler! Waiheke is a beautiful island, and this tour helps you to experience it easily. We had a delicious olive oil tasting, an incredible lunch, and 2 wine tastings, all surrounded by the beautiful views of the island. (Our tour guide Simon was fantastic - a local with lots of fun facts and helpful information!)

Amazing experience and...
Amazing experience and tour with John! He was the absolute best tour guide and knew the best places to go that were not crowded and you could get the full experience without feeling overwhelmed or rushed. From the relaxing beaches and waterfalls to his great knowledge about wine and the wine making process, the day exceeded expectations and I highly recommend booking with NZWinePro for an incredible experience!

This was a wonderful...
This was a wonderful afternoon of wine tasting at 3 wineries which included a delicious lunch. We were given several choices for lunch which included a glass of wine. We also went to the Tasman sea to observe the gnat birds. The views were stunning and lots of opportunities to take photos. Erin our guide was prompt very knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating. It was a lovely afternoon and I highly recommend as no worries re transport and all tastings arranged ahead of time. A lovely day!

Yummy, yummy, yummy!
This was an INCREDIBLE experience! Our tour kind, Sarah, was knowledgeable, kind, and had great information both about the food and the city in general. The food itself was delicious, and we went to a variety of spots that all had their own flare and flavor. The food was adventurous while still maintaining quality and enjoyment, and we learned so much about Auckland's history. I especially enjoyed hearing about the revitalization of the area around the wharf and how it has changed over time. Our small group was very friendly and got along well, and it was a great time all around. Highly recommend!

Auckland Foodie tour
Great experience our tour guide Kath was fabulous. She was not only knowledgeable about the food scene in Auckland but also an expert on the history of the city. The food was great. I advise you not to eat a big breakfast. We had a fun and interactive group of seven.

Great tour while in cruise port
Our guide, Jeannine, did a good job of keeping the tour on time and providing interesting commentary, and the lunch was amazing! Our driver also provided interesting information about the Maori culture, and communication with the tour provider through Viator was prompt and clear. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Wonderful half day trip to historic Devonport!
Michael met us right on time at the pickup point. He accompanied us all through the tour on the short ferry ride to Devonport and up to Mount Victoria. The food stops were excellent consisting of steamed mussels, local fish and chips, and finally gelato! Michael is a very pleasant young man and made the tour very enjoyable. Would highly recommend this tour to Devonport!

The most informative wine tour guide & fun tasting experience - book it!
BOOK THIS TOUR or at least a tour with THIS tour guide/company!!! It was such a blast, the day really flew by. The wineries were stunning and tasteful wines - curated tasting to our palates and a little outside of our "taste bud box" as well. We visited Soljans first. Denise was delightful sharing her knowledge and family history. Hearing of 5 generations and the family ties was heartwarming and I think, came through in the beauty of their wines & port. Oh the port! Yummy! I took a whole bottle home 🤭. I like the little gift shop as well - very reasonable priced. We then visited a black sand beach and could take enough photos of the birds (gannet). Followed by visiting Westbrook winery - with stunning scenery /vineyard. It was rainning so we sat inside which was pretty and cozy as well. Not to mention the step by step tasting session. Another lovely set of 5 wines & fabulous food menu (charcuterie, pizzas, & more). They even allowed us to try some grapes off the vine on our way out.
I've saved the best for last, if you've read this far.. rhe tour guide, John, has an astounding depth of wine knowledge! I can't even begin to tell his story - that is for him to tell, so I beg you to ask him because it is truly beyond fascinating! He could go deep into the science or worldly experiences or explain why certain notes appear in a wine due to the growing process. Not to mention he can explain things in simple terms too if needed 😊
I am beyond grateful to have taken this tour and highly recommend it, if you can!
Cheers & enjoy!!!

A great day trip- wish I had been there longer
From the lovely staff to the super clean boat, to the helpful friendly guides, a really good day out. The island is absolutely beautiful and the wildlife abundant. Neil, our guide was informative and friendly. My only suggestion would be to stay overnight if you can, because one day trip just isn’t long enough to see everything. A cracking spot and pretty good value for money. Oh and don’t forget your packed lunch :)
