Nelson, our guide, was fabulous, waiting for late passengers and accommodating all our wants. A very complete tour with Geothermal springs, visiting a beautiful lake, learning about Maori traditions and watching their songs and dance, viewing of kiwi birds and Maori arts and crafts. I recommend it highly.

I highly recommend this tour of the North island!! Our guide Jason was friendly, knowledgeable, and quite witty which made the trip even better! The views are breathtaking and each stop is unique and adventurous. We had coffee and meat pies, walked through the geothermal park (a major highlight) and even learned about the Maōri culture at Te Puia. This tour accommodates everything and is well worth the cost!!

Great guide, he was fun and social. Overall, the tour makes it easy to take such a long trip out of Auckland but the area is certainly worth an overnight visit. The itinerary was good and the guide was willing to help me with finding gluten free food for our stops.

Amazing tour and experience. Truly enjoyed the geothermal sites and Māori cultural experience. Being able to see three Kiwi birds was icing on the cake. David, our tour guide, was great with lots of information and driving skills. Highly recommended.

One of best experiences i had during this trip. Great daytrip from Auckland to Rotorua, during which we saw waiotapu geothermal activity and te puia Māori centre with 3rd largest geyser in the world and saw Māori performance. Aaron, our guide was amazing and really helpful, told us very interesting stories about new zealand.

Jason is extremely knowledgeable and shared many wonderful stories about the landscapes, Māori language and culture along the way. Jeremy chatted nonstop with him throughout the drive, and Jason was always patient answering all our questions.
We loved visiting the geothermal park with colourful thermal pools, mud pools and the Māori village. We were amazed by the traditional carving crafts and the powerful haka performance.

We had such an amazing day trip to Rotorua! Even before the tour started, the communication was excellent. They had to reschedule our tour, but kept us updated the whole time and made everything so easy.
Pickup was right on time, and the small group made the experience feel much more personal and relaxed. Jason was fantastic! He was so friendly, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. He kept everyone engaged during the drive by sharing interesting facts and even quizzing us along the way.

Visiting the thermal pools and geysers was such a unique experience. The Maori cultural center was very interesting along with viewing of the kiwi birds was a complete and worthwhile sightseeing experience. I recommend this tour 100%.

Jason was fun and friendly. He was very knowledgeable. Gave us pointers on where to stand for better video/photo ops, etc. The places we went were absolutely awesome. So glad I got to see it all in one day. Black swans, bubbling mud ponds, brilliant mineral lakes, Maori performance and tour of the school. Kiwi birds, geysers, and more. Had a wonderful time. The bus ride was long but 100% worth it.

Very quick day, but full of so much! I chose the Te Puia side trip, and was really happy with the balance of the day! I wish we had an extra hour or so to swing by the redwoods too, but the tour was well organized (long drive tho!) and got to see lots of cool things in one day!

Long day but worth the trip. There are different options. So, choose carefully. The Māori site and cultural show were wonder. The show had beautiful musical numbers and the Haka dance. Geysers were amazing. Plenty of time to walk around the steam vents and mud pools.

We enjoyed this trip from the moment Aaron picked up Us at the hotel. While driving he gave us many informations about NZ, its population, vegetation, food, great places to visit. The all day was well organized with the right time at each place. The discovery of geysers and of the Māori culture will stay a great memory.

It was well planned, everything was on time. Snacks and water were available, and umbrellas in case of rain. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable. Overall it was a very good experience.

It makes for a long day, but all the stops were Well worth the time. Our driver, Wayne, navigated some crazy streets and awful traffic on the freeways, but that is two and from our appointment safely. We especially enjoyed the Maori cultural exhibition. Be sure to hike the thermal area and geyser! Fun stops to learn about the student skills programs in weaving, stonework, and wood carving.
