What a fabulous day out. The train ride was great to Arthurs Pass and had a great walk around the area and then the lunch stop at Grassmere was absolutely stunning. Thoroughly enjoyed the sheep shearing demonstration with Trevor & Heather - what great people. Our driver/guide Pete was sensational. Full of local knowledge and a real joy - he is fantastic. It was a briliant day out you won't regret. Stunning scenery, great food and fabulous people - what more could you aks for.

Small tour of 16 people. Very friendly and guide was very helpful. All ran like clockwork. Stops allowed us to take in the wonderful scenery and the train back to Christchurch was very comfortable. It had a bar so I could relax and have a well-earned beer whilst watching the fantastic scenery pass by. Very good value.

It was fantastic!Long journey but definitely worth it! Beautiful home made lunch(sandwich) with delicious homemade brownie and banana bread. The views of the lakes and mountain Cook was breathing 😍 Also we had a wonderful driver -guide(Rosie)who made the journey interesting,she was well spoken,so much knowledge about almost everything to know NZ,we'll done Rosie and thank you for an amazing trip 👏😌

This was a wonderful journey from Christchurch to a must-visit location for any LOTR fan (though you don't have to be a fan to enjoy the beauty). The tour featured a drive through the Canterbury region to the stunning location of "Edoras", including stops for snacks and a delicious picnic lunch. Our driver/guide, Cheryl, was fantastic--providing us with fun, detailed stories about the filming location as well as information about the region and her own personal experiences. Getting to spend time on Mount Sunday, taking photos with props, was truly magical. It is definitely a full-day adventure, but well worth it.

Excellent experience with our guide. Stephanie was very well informed and provided us with lots of interesting and useful information about the area and wineries. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon of wine tasting, food and beautiful scenery. Can highly recommend.

Antarctic Centre is an excellent interactive museum. Facts are presented in an interesting manner, and there are varied types of exhibits (Husky Zone, 4D movie, Storm Simulator, Hägglund vehicle ride, Little Blue Penguins habitat, etc) Allow 2-3+ hours and ENJOY!! There's plenty to interest adults and entertain children of 7-8+yo.

What an amazing experience !! Worked like clock work 😊 with easy to board, staff were great! We did the lunch and train ride and were fortunate enough to have a lovely UK couple share the table we were on. The food was fantastic!! We thought it was just lunch but you get a lovely A la carte menu which also includes a light breakfast which was totally delicious with drinks being alcohol and juices or cool drinks and coffee and teas. We would definitely do it again! You won’t be disappointed!! 😊😊
