This was a wonderful afternoon of wine tasting at 3 wineries which included a delicious lunch. We were given several choices for lunch which included a glass of wine. We also went to the Tasman sea to observe the gnat birds. The views were stunning and lots of opportunities to take photos. Erin our guide was prompt very knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating. It was a lovely afternoon and I highly recommend as no worries re transport and all tastings arranged ahead of time. A lovely day!

The best and most professional tour ever. Our guide Jason was fantastic, knowledgeable and funny. The wineries were great and the wines very good. Very much recommended. Modern and comfortable vehicle.

The wine region in NZ is small but mighty, with many wonderful wines and beautiful vineyards. We loved the local chardonnay and flew home with some tawny ports. Kelley was incredibly knowledgeable and made our tour special.

4 wineries visited along with other noteworthy areas of interest outside of Auckland showing us the beauty of the coastline and local birds. Wineries well chosen. Meredith (our guide) very knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. She was always on time and went out of her way to make it a meaningful day. The day was so informative and fun. Skipping this would have been a mistake.

Jason was a great guide for both the wine region as well as having an in depth knowledge of the native environment. We had a great time with the three wineries we toured. The lunch was amazing! The side trip to the beach was a great break in between tastings. His recommendations for local Auckland restaurants was spot on. We would highly recommend this small intimate tour of boutique wineries.

A very pleasant afternoon of wine and wildlife watching. The wine tastings were quite varied and well-paced. Delicious lunch with no wait. The gannet colony is so interesting… the time there goes fast!

We had a great time from beginning to end. Wine tasting is opinionated, so I'll speak to the experience.
We we're picked up at our hotel and just a short drive to our first tasting. This tasting included wine of our choice and a very nice lunch. Scallops, grilled broccolini,, and caprese salad. Jason, our guide was very knowledgeable about wine and explained the history of the area along the way. Each of the three tastings were on nice vineyards and very relaxed. The tour included a stop on the west shore to observe a Gannet Colony. It was a blustery day and added some adventure to the tour. The last winery was on a luscious piece of property and again very relaxed. Being driven to our hotel front door at the end is a very nice touch. If you have to choose between Waiheke Island and Kumeu, we would highly recommend Kumeu.

Perfect on time pickup and very friendly guide / driver. With only 4 in the group made it easy for the guide. The timing of everything was spot in and she kept us on track. She was lovely and very informative - I think 4 or 5th generation Kiwi. The beach visit also included a walk to the sea bird nesting area, with their new chicks. A great extra surprise of the tour.

If you have difficulties walking up hills or in sand you may want to reconsider or stay close to the bus when stopping at the beach.

Enjoyed Mary very much. The three Vinyards we visited were all very interesting and very different. Enjoyed them all. Tasted port for the first time at our first stop and discovered how good it is. Great tour!

Great way to spend an afternoon. Our guide, Mairi, (sorry if misspelled) was extremely knowledgeable and great telling us some history about the area and the wineries. Fantastic lunch at Sojan winery. Visited black sand beach and were able to see the Gannett colony. Definitely worth doing.

This was a great outing with a friend. Easy pickup from the hotel, nice lunch and lovely time at each winery. It was also just the two of us and nice that they didn’t cancel it and still too us.

Outstanding afternoon with three vineyard tastings and 4-5 vintages at each. Come hungry because lunch is the first stop and the portions are hefty and scrumptious. Add a little beach and bird nesting and it was a fabulous time with fun and gracious driver, Annie. A++

The guide was fantastic, congenital, and funny. We had an amazing lunch and the wineries were interesting. We had a wide sampling of wines between the three places. The guide also took us to see a beautiful beach that he said was representative of New Zealand.

What a great day! Small group makes for more personalized wine tastings. The stop at Muriwai beach may have been my favorite part! The scenery was truly incredible and our guide was very knowledgeable and attentive. Would definitely book again or recommend to a friend. We also packed a lot into a shorter period of time - 3 wineries plus lunch in about a half day (12-5:30p) which was great for me. Sometimes these trips can take up an entire day, but this one left more time for exploring Auckland city on both ends. And the wines were great!

Our guide Meredith was the absolute best! Very warm and friendly and talked to everyone in the group as though we'd been friends for years! The wines were amazing in some of the most beautiful sceneries in all of New Zealand! And seeing the gannet colony was wonderful! I highly recommend this tour!

Meredith, our guide was wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable. The lunch included with the tour was delicious and all three wineries were very enjoyable. It would be nice to add one or two more wineries to the trip. I would certainly recommend this trip to anyone.

This was a wonderful way to end my trip to Australia and New Zealand. Erin was a wonderful guide and the 3 wineries she took us to were wonderful and the owners were very informative. The lunch was delicious and the drive to and from the different stops was lovely. A great day!

Wonderful time. Anne was great. When we came across a “dangerous” road that had all the passengers “nervous” (not really😂) but with Anne’s wealth of experience, she navigated the many “hazards” of the “treacherous” expanse bringing her Travellers to safety!!!

Very nice to try the different styles of NZ wine and see a bit of countryside Auckland. The three places we visited were nice although some of the places did fair small serverings of wine (one sip and that’s it). Also they didn’t really know a lot about the wine production, but maybe that’s just because I’m a bit nerdy with it.
Great lunch as well and Mark our tour guide made a great trip to black sand beach too and talking.
