Beautiful day full of interesting activities.

This was a great all day tour. It was my first day in Auckland and morning was a great introduction into my surroundings. A stop for a famous Auckland pie for lunch (not included) and we went for a guided hike through an easy trail through the jungle. Finished off at the beautiful Piha Beach and a tea and cookies picnic. It was a day to remember.

Fabulous tour out of the CBD, with s superlative guide and driver team. Educational and Stimulating with wonderful sites

A great chance to experience the areas outside of the central business district, which make up the awesome beauty, uniqueness of Auckland and the north Island. The Guide and Driver both knew their stuff and we’re willing to share it personally. It seemed like they truly cared and knew each of us in the bus for the day. A very well planned, and thought out to her, which I highly recommend!

Great day!

Excellent half day trip from Auckland to the west side of island. Fantastic stops, views, walk thru forest and visit to Piha Beach. Even tea service at beach! Our guide and driver Warren was a delight. Full of kiwi info and guiding thru our visit. Nice coach, comfortable and safe. It was great to leave the city for a bit, highly recommended.

The rainforest, with its unique vegetation, and Piha Beach, with its dramatic black sand and powerful ocean views, were truly breathtaking. Nature at its finest - wild, beautiful, and deeply calming. Know before you go

Piha Beach is ideal for surfers, fisherfolk, and those seeking a day on the beach and in nature.
At the top of Lion Rock, you can rest at apou whenua erected in the memory of Ngati Tangiaro Taua, an ancestress of the localiwi (Māori tribe), Te Kawerau ā Maki.
If you’re looking for a bite to eat, drop in at the Piha Cafe up on Garden Road, or at the Piha Surf Lifesaving Club down by the shore.
In summer, swim between the red and yellow flags, and get to know the lifeguards of the famous-in-New-Zealand TV show “Piha Rescue.”
The beach offers wheelchair-accessible restrooms. Although it may be hard to find accessible parking, drivers can drop off guests and find a spot.
Bring sunscreen, insect repellent and (if you plan to go for a hike) a sturdy pair of shoes. Consider a wetsuit outside of summer.
