A Great Place To Learn About Conscious Environmental Stewardship
The tour was very informative, learning about the conservation efforts undertaken by the National Kiwi Hatchery to help these unique and fascinating ratites was an amazing experience that gave me a great introduction to NZs culture surrounding environmental stewardship. Learning about the Department of Conservation and Predator Free New Zealand Trust efforts to reach the goal of Predator Free 2050 gave me some hope that my own country may be able to one day work together as a united front to save our own land and the priceless flora and fauna that live within it.

Perfect solo experience through New Zealand forest!
Overcame my fear of heights for this experience! The guides were so lovely and patient and helped hype me up on each zip line run. Love how conservation is built into the business and the tour was educational and offered a unique view into the surrounding landscape. Highly recommend this if you're looking for a fun bit of adventure!

Authentic Informative Maori Experience
An incredible authentic experience to highlight a peek into the Maori culture. Our guide Miti was phenomenal, she was so genuine and thoughtful providing our group with such thorough information on her culture and family history. My heart was so full after this experience she presented the information from her heart with such pride. Although the weather was quite rainy and cloud covered, the geyser was quite impressive and the buffet dinner was delicious a vast variety of items oysters, mussels, lamb, ham, chicken, salads, desserts so much food and excellent service staff. Highly recommend this tour it was very professional, well organized and I felt represented the Maori culture with such pride and authenticity. Worth the price for sure. A thoughtful suggestion for families travelling with infants is to be aware that a crying or fussing baby can be distracting not only for other guests but performers too. In my opinion, it is not the most suitable experience for very young children.

Great time!
Make sure you come before 1015am to go to the Lady geyser. They do a fun ceremony and add soap to make it explode. It was really neat! You can go straight to the geyser parking lot and they scan your ticket there. No need to go to the visitor center before. The walking path around the hot springs in well maintained and the hot springs are big and beautiful.
