Unforgettable White Water Rafting Adventure with an Amazing Guide!
We had an incredible experience white water rafting on the Kaituna River with Rotorua Rafting! Our tour guide, Jack, brought such great energy to the entire adventure and made the experience both exciting and enjoyable from start to finish.
Jack explained everything clearly, let us know exactly what to expect, and made us feel safe and confident the entire time on the river. You could tell they were very experienced and genuinely cared about everyone having a great time.
This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Rotorua. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure and an amazing rafting experience!

Highly recommend this unique experience.
An amazing experience from start to finish which had been recommended to us by friends. We were a group of 4 & everyone loved it. The hangi buffet was extensive & delicious. Recommend you dont eat much beforehand as there is so much food on offer. It was in a large dining hall & although the venue appeared to be full it was in beautiful surroundings & a very enjoyable dining experience. The show was very emotive & stunning. The performers were so talented & obviously proud of their heritage. There was plenty of seating & everyone had clear views to the stage. The optional night walk to the geysers was so worth it. We had done a geyser tour there earlier in the day but it had a completely different feel at night especially with the coloured lighting…a magical feel. Our guide was so friendly & informative taking extra time to do a Q & A session whilst we sat on some warm rocks. The complimentary hot chocolate was delicious. There was also the option to walk to & from the geysers or catch the little “train” bus.
Highly recommend this experience.

Do not miss this experience!
Seeing the glow worm caves was the top of our list for our weekend in Rotorua and this tour did not disappoint! There were 2 families with children aged 10 to 23 and everyone loved this experience. Our guide, Kesha, was knowledgable and engaging. The kayaks were easy to maneuver, with the guide pulling us into the caves. The night sky was perfect so we could easily see the Milky Way and the Southern Cross. Each cave was more spectacular that the one prior. We worried about being cold because it was the fall but wetsuits, booties, and jackets were available to all participants. We all highly recommend this tour!

Fun experience! Something...
Fun experience! Something worth doing with the family! Note that there is about a 10 minute walk including 6 flights of stairs in the beginning. But it’s all downhill from there in the best possible way! Maybe don’t have a big meal before this experience.

Delightful
There is a lot of walking, some of it uphill, otherwise, it is such a worthwhile tour, and we were absolutely delighted. We took the tours that included lunch, which said it was at the green dragon, but really it was in a tent next to the green dragon. Nevertheless, the food was excellent and definitely worth the money we spent. As we were there in the shoulder season before they close? Some of the adult T-shirts were no longer available at Coast. We couldn’t find any coasters that didn’t that didn’t have mugs attached to them and we really didn’t need any more mugs. We were very happy with the tour and would recommend it.

Wonderful evening in Rotorua
We travelled as a group of five adults. It is suitable for all degrees of mobility. Dietary restrictions were taken into account. The welcome ceremony at the start of our visit underlined the importance and spiritual significance of said ceremony. The cultural experience prior to the meal was wonderful. It was a joyful evening and the performers appeared to enjoy it as much as the audience. It gave an insight into Maori history and culture in a very acceptable way without the audience feeling like they were attending a lecture. I would highly recommend this experience.

Accessibility @ the Kiwi Hatchery.
Great experience. Staff are fantastic with people using mobility aids, except you need to go to the Ageodome first to collect actual tickets and then drive to the Hatchery, if a visitor uses Mobility Aids. This made us late for the start of the tour, even though we arrived 10mins early at the Agrodome. Actual experience and information provided was good quality and we had the chance to ask questions. We managed to see a 3 day old kiwi in the Hatchery area, as well as an adult male & female in indoor habitats.

Great time!
Make sure you come before 1015am to go to the Lady geyser. They do a fun ceremony and add soap to make it explode. It was really neat! You can go straight to the geyser parking lot and they scan your ticket there. No need to go to the visitor center before. The walking path around the hot springs in well maintained and the hot springs are big and beautiful.

Wow! Don’t think twice!...
Wow! Don’t think twice! Just book the ultimate experience right now. It’s worth every dollar and I wish it lasted longer! Or better yet, that we had time to go again! This was my first Zipline experience and my husband is not a fan of heights…and we both absolutely loved this activity! Our team was awesome. They kept us safe and feeling fully capable. We grew quite close to our group and it was really cool to see everyone overcoming a sense of fear or worry. You can do this! It was epic!

Māori cultural evening in Rotorua
Well organised and informative all round experience. Set in the Mitsubishi village and run by Moari family, this has a beautiful bush and river setting with the food and entertainment in large tents on site. After the entertainment, after dark, there is a further opportunity to walk back through the bush and see glow worms in a natural setting

Great introduction to Rotorua’s geothermal wonders
A very well-organized small group tour covering Wai-O-Tapu, Lady Knox Geyser, and Waimangu Valley. Each stop was unique, with incredible geothermal landscapes and plenty of time to explore without feeling rushed.
The Lady Knox eruption was a highlight, and Waimangu’s scenery felt truly otherworldly. Transport was smooth, timing was perfect, and the small group size made the experience relaxed and enjoyable.
Highly recommended if you want an efficient and memorable overview of Rotorua’s geothermal sites.

Great overall experience / cramped bus
Tour guide Phil was great. Surprised by the large number of geothermal sites we saw. The topper was in the afternoon geysers with waterfall. Only negative was the bus was cramped and in some seats the wheel-well.took away foot space. But drive times are short so it is manageable.
Highly recommended.
