Absolutely Beautiful! My...
Absolutely Beautiful! My partner and I went and it was just us. It was a beautiful "Private tour" with an absolutely amazing down to earth tour guide. It rained a little but turned out to be a clear night seeing 2 different lights the stars and the glow worms. Could not recommend this tour enough. So beautiful!

Thanks Jack
The adventure of a lifetime! Jack was an incredible guide and with his expertise we felt safe experiencing this thrill on our trip. The crew educated us about the rapids and ensured we were safe at all times. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience. A must do if you are in Rotorua!

Muddy Spas
Hell’s Gate was absolutely incredible! My son and I had the best time exploring this amazing place. From the geothermal wonders to the mud baths, every part of the experience was unforgettable. We loved every minute of it and will definitely be back. If you’re ever in Rotorua, it’s a must-do. Thanks for an awesome day & amazing staff, we can’t wait to return! ❤️♨️🇳🇿

A Magical Journey Through Middle-earth 🌿🏡✨
Here’s a positive review you could use:
Our experience at Hobbiton was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping straight into Middle-earth. The gardens were immaculate, the hobbit holes were incredibly detailed, and every corner was picture-perfect.
Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour both fun and informative with stories and behind-the-scenes insights. Finishing the tour with a drink at the Green Dragon Inn was the perfect way to end the experience.
Even if you’re not a huge Lord of the Rings or Hobbit fan, this is a truly unique experience that showcases the beauty of New Zealand and the amazing craftsmanship behind the movie set. Highly recommend adding Hobbiton to your bucket list – it was worth every minute! 🌿🏡🍺✨

Amazing Cultural Experience in Rotorua!
Our visit to Mitai Maori Village was absolutely excellent and one of the highlights of our trip to Rotorua. The experience was both entertaining and educational, and we learned so much about Māori culture and traditions.
The performances and cultural show were incredible, and you could really feel the passion and pride throughout the entire experience. The buffet dinner was also excellent with plenty of delicious options to enjoy.
They also have a wonderful gift shop with great souvenirs to help remember the experience. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Rotorua and wanting an authentic and memorable cultural experience!

Highly recommend this unique experience.
An amazing experience from start to finish which had been recommended to us by friends. We were a group of 4 & everyone loved it. The hangi buffet was extensive & delicious. Recommend you dont eat much beforehand as there is so much food on offer. It was in a large dining hall & although the venue appeared to be full it was in beautiful surroundings & a very enjoyable dining experience. The show was very emotive & stunning. The performers were so talented & obviously proud of their heritage. There was plenty of seating & everyone had clear views to the stage. The optional night walk to the geysers was so worth it. We had done a geyser tour there earlier in the day but it had a completely different feel at night especially with the coloured lighting…a magical feel. Our guide was so friendly & informative taking extra time to do a Q & A session whilst we sat on some warm rocks. The complimentary hot chocolate was delicious. There was also the option to walk to & from the geysers or catch the little “train” bus.
Highly recommend this experience.

Fun experience! Something...
Fun experience! Something worth doing with the family! Note that there is about a 10 minute walk including 6 flights of stairs in the beginning. But it’s all downhill from there in the best possible way! Maybe don’t have a big meal before this experience.

Zip line joy with the grandchildren.
The experience was exciting and enjoyable. We had two excellent guides, Ollie and Alina, who were helpful and informative. They were kind and patient with our 5 year old granddaughter and 10 year old grandson. We were told about the local flora and their traditional medicinal properties as well as the local traditions of the land and legends of the local iwis.
We were thrilled with the mini aerial aspects of the zip line while being confident we were safe and secure every step of the way. All in all, well done 👍

Wonderful evening in Rotorua
We travelled as a group of five adults. It is suitable for all degrees of mobility. Dietary restrictions were taken into account. The welcome ceremony at the start of our visit underlined the importance and spiritual significance of said ceremony. The cultural experience prior to the meal was wonderful. It was a joyful evening and the performers appeared to enjoy it as much as the audience. It gave an insight into Maori history and culture in a very acceptable way without the audience feeling like they were attending a lecture. I would highly recommend this experience.

Great time!
Make sure you come before 1015am to go to the Lady geyser. They do a fun ceremony and add soap to make it explode. It was really neat! You can go straight to the geyser parking lot and they scan your ticket there. No need to go to the visitor center before. The walking path around the hot springs in well maintained and the hot springs are big and beautiful.

Our favorite of our trip to New Zealand!
This was a fantastic experience! It was fascinating to see the many different varieties of sheep and a sheep shearing demonstration! All of it was done with humor, which made it fun. Seeing what the dogs were able to do was amazing as well!
The icing on top of the cake was taking the trolley pulled by the tractor around the farm and being able to feed the sheep and alpaca! It was also great to see how kiwi fruit grow as I had no idea!
I would recommend this to anyone who has a chance to visit Rotorua in New Zealand!

Fancy, yet relaxing spa
Our bodies were so tight and had lots of knots from traveling; this place came as just perfect. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but it provides upscale spa experience with less crowd and more space. Each sauna and ice room were amazing. I loved that I could do cold plunge here and there. Also, the sulfer pools, hydro pool and herb pool were perfect to relax and hop around. Lastly, the mud room and steam sauna were perfect for my skin. The locker room was clean and the shower amenity was good.
I thought 2 hours might not be enough; but it actually was. I think 2.5 hours would be perfect. I loved the fact that it was not crowded at all from 3 PM to 5 PM; we enjoyed the lake view and amazing hot pools.
