Great tour.

Excellent trip. Good communication before we were picked up at the cruise port. Great commentary on the way to the acropolis. Plenty of time to explore, no queueing to get into the acropolis. We were given the opportunity to stay longer with free HOHO bus tickets, but we chose just to get dropped back at the ship. Recommended.

Our very skilled driver (George) , also fulfills the role of yr guide and shared his in depth knowledge & information on Greek culture/living and history , really made this trip magic. The taverna on the quiet seaside village was really special with the most welcoming hosts (Four Brothers) and what an excellent meal! Seeing the sunset over the hill at the temple of Poseidon was stunning and the little fishes nibbling away at yr feet at the lake was a crazy but amazing experience!

We had a great tour with George and this was our first activity we did when we got to Greece. He was early picking us up and we had time to grab some coffee before we left. George ensured we had the best experience by taking us to the Acropolis early before the crowds which worked out perfectly! We even got to see the parade march prior to the changing of the guard for the Monument of the Unknown soldier which was really great. George was so knowledgeable, we really enjoyed this tour with him, highly recommend this one to others!

We had Vacious as our you guide. What he didn’t know about Athens is not worth knowing. It was a fantastic tour and included the acropolis and many other sights in Athens plus free time as well The sprinter bus was super as well I wound highly recommend this tour so well organised and professional We got back to the shop with time to spare and right on the door step of the ship

Alex did an excellent job on the tour as a guide. He was well informed what each items history was and never rushed us at any site. He was willing to take time to answer questions about the artifacts as well the current history of Greece. He was very friendly and polite, as well as a good driver.

My experience in Athens exceeded all expectations

Having only a few hours in Athens during a layover, I decided to book a private tour with Colours of Greece — and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I made. Ruslan, who was my driver and guide, arrived right on time in a fantastic, spacious, and luxurious Mercedes SUV. During the drive, he shared the history of Greece — and especially Athens — from prehistoric times all the way to the present day, making the journey incredibly engaging and informative. We arrived at the Acropolis, where I purchased my ticket from the office next to the entrance. As I passed through the gates, a childhood dream came true — I was standing in front of one of the most important monuments in human history. After visiting the Acropolis, we stopped in front of the Old Royal Palace, where I had the chance to admire the Changing of the Guard with their perfectly synchronized movements. We then visited the largest marble stadium in the world, where the first modern Olympic Games were held. Next, we drove up to the highest point in the city, where I admired the breathtaking view of thousands of buildings stretching all the way to the Aegean Sea. I also have to mention Plaka — a place that feels like stepping into another era — along with Monastiraki and its vibrant market. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the energy to visit the Ancient Agora, which was the heart of ancient Athens, but I promise I will return soon. Thank you for everything, Ruslan! Returning home from Athens cruise

Our driver was on time for our very early departure from the cruise ship to the airport. He was professional, kind and very helpful. The car was very clean and comfortable. He had our name on a card and took all the worry out of our transportation needs. Highly recommend.
