Technically, no—swimming and wading in the Reedy River are prohibited due to concerns about bacteria in the water. However, some shallow areas below the falls and Liberty Bridge draw families, kids, and dogs for splashing and cooling off in summer; enforcement varies by location and season.

You can wander the acres of terraced gardens, cross Liberty Bridge and take photos, marvel at the waterfall, and enjoy walking trails, picnic areas, public art installations, and access to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Or, join in regular events such as the Upstate Shakespeare Festival and the Reedy River Duck Derby.

Yes. Liberty Bridge is a curved pedestrian bridge (cyclists are also allowed) that offers panoramic views of the waterfall and park, and it's the area's architectural centerpiece. It's walkable during park hours and an architectural marvel—it’s the only suspension bridge of its kind in the United States.

No. Falls Park on the Reedy has no on-site parking, but there’s parking nearby. The park is on Main Street on the west end of downtown, so look for free 2-hour street parking if you can find it. Otherwise, use one of the nearby paid garages.
