Good guide. Whales, dolfins, and puffins!
We had great weather. Sun, calm seas. 5-6 humpbacks that we followed for a bit. So many puffins. And, a small group of dolfins. Nice trip.

Layer up for the cold...
Layer up for the cold weather and sea spray. The tour guide didn't talk too much, and the captain did a great job getting us near the whales quickly. Originally, I debated between this type of boat and the traditional oak boats, but my daughter and I were so happy that we went with this one. It was an unforgettable experience, and Puffin Island was the "icing on the cake."

Great whale watching tour in Husavik
Nice boat with a great staff that was very informative and spoke good English. We learned a lot and saw two humpback whales feeding, fluking, and even breaching. It was a great experience, in spite of some sea sickness (which they're well-prepared for!)

Interesting and varied landscapes
This was not the original tour we booked but a great substitute. The 3 stops around the lake were all so different and very interesting. Coming from Florida we have nothing like this! Excellent guide who was very knowledgeable.

Husavik whale watching in June
I've been whales watching many times before and this was the most amazing experience! The captain and guide were excellent!

Great company, great gesture 🥰
We didn’t have any luck on our trip but that did not detract from how well the trip was communicated and delivered. We were offered a free trip which we booked for the next day and our luck changed with 2 humpbacks and 2 pods of dolphins. Mada (sorry if I’ve spelt it wrong) was our guide and was brilliant on both days. Thank you for your gesture and the memories we now have.

Simple Amazing /Breath taking
Absolutely AMAZING! Traveled on the 10th June 9am. One of the best experiences of the trip. Firstly our guide was amazing, she was so enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about whales, she was a marine biologist so very knowledgeable. We saw puffins and hump back whales including a mother and calf which is apparently pretty rare in iceland. Husavik is a good place to go for whale watching (we did the entire ring road)

Whale watching
Had a good time on this 5 pm tour. We saw a humpback whale and followed him for about 30 minutes. The whale jumped all the way out of the water! My 2 kiddos got seasick so I would recommend taking some seasick meds before the ride. The oak boat is very jumpy. The guide was great and very knowledgeable.

We had a great...
We had a great experience! We saw 7 whales (humpbacks and minkes) and many puffins out in the water. They provided us with a very warm suit to wear so we were very comfortable. Tour guide was great and informative. Loved the hot chocolate and cinnamon cookies we received on the way back to the harbor. Great tour!

Beautiful view of the bay
Took the 10:00 am tour at the end of May. Is a tour were you have to be patience. We saw two humpbacks whales in the first 20 minutes of the tour. Then, we had a long ride to the other side of the bay without any luck. Because of the wind I wasn’t able to hear the tour guide’s whale information. On the way back we were given hot chocolate and a cookie. Then, we saw another whale.
In addition, they provide a waterproof suit to wear over your warm clothes.
