The activity itself was perfect. Our issue was that Viator had us booked as a 9:00am bus tour and in fact it was an 8am tour. Not sure what happened there. Luckily we were able to go on the noon tour and the local company was wonderful about rebooking us. In the future, if I can book directly with the company I will.
Awesome tour, Maria was superb! Very friendly, engaging, and had good knowledge of Iceland. The falls are a splendid site, it's Iceland so be sure to dress warmly and be prepared for rain. There is a lovely inn with coffee and donuts included in this tour :) There is also a cafe next door to stop in and warm up.
I travel with my 75 year old grandpa who has a little bit of knee pain. The paved path to the waterfall is easy and doable!

We had perfect weather and our guide was so knowledgeable. We loved it purely because it wasn’t an all day activity. Highly recommend Saga for day trips…you won’t be disappointed.
Our guide Keri was extremely informative and entertaining about life in Iceland, the history of the area, and legend surrounding the falls. Very enjoyable and memorable experience. We also had the luck of good weather and sunny skies. The free coffee and pastry was an unexpected bonus.
We drove to the waterfalls. 30 min walked around the falls 1 hour 15 min or so. Had a coffee and small pastry (complimentary). Then it was back to the ship or a drop off in town. A little narration was provided along the way. But basically just transportation to the falls.

We then allow free time at the waterfall for our guests to explore and enjoy it at their own pace. It was a pleasant ride, a good tour guide, a beautiful waterfall and it came with a coupon for a cup of coffee, but not worth $124 per person. There were 5 of us and 2 hr trip cost $618. Definitely not worth it.

Great trip out to the waterfall. Waterfall was easily accessible. Nice to have a little coffee and snack. All in all, a well run tour. There were cheaper options (and more expensive ones) but I am glad we picked this tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and nice and answered many questions.

The guide provided very interesting background folklore/history and the falls are beautiful. The distance to them was significant for the bus ride.

We enjoyed our trip to the waterfall. The tour guide/driver shared interesting information throughout the drive. Stopping for coffee+a snacks was a nice break on our way back. We had a beautiful sunny day an experience that was well worth our time.
Great excursion with Saga Tours, booked thru Viator. Great price. Company responded quickly to my questions to clarify meeting point, which was appreciated. Driver was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. An hour at the falls goes by quickly. Most people walk on the left side of falls. I’d suggest walking along right side of falls… great view and way less people. Walking paths are good. You do have time to do both, if you keep moving. Included in trip was a cup of coffee and a local sweet at the hotel, very nice. Clean bathrooms. (no fee). Bus gave option to drop off at the town centre on way back to pier, which was nice.
Tour operators met us at dock/gate. Escorted us to bus. Bus appeared maintained and clean. Guides spoke English well enough. Visit to Godafoss was a bit hurried for seeing both sides of the falls as another tourist needed to get back earlier. Appreciated bathroom and coffee at hotel.
Small personable group. The operator, DABBA was phenomenal. She grew up in the town and gave a very personalized tour.
The Godafos Waterfall is a must see. I recommend that you go early and walk on both sides to get in every angle. Spectacular views.
We were on a Viking Cruise and the tours were booked from the ship. Viator was easy to use and the tour guide was knowledgeable.
We originally booked only the waterfalls, but not enough signed up, so Saga offered an upgrade to " lake Myvatn Day Tour" for no extra charge.
Our guide Julie was excellent and the sights were incredible.
The tour guy and the driver were very friendly and helpful. The tour guy explained everything as we were going to our destination
Great excursion. Met at the cruise terminal and show to the minibus by our guide Marvin.
We were given information on the journey to the falls and then he was happy to answer any questions. After our stop we had coffee and local donut at the hotel that was provided free. Our return journey was same route but again more info from our great guide.

Great views on the way to the falls. The falls were spectacular and accessible for all. You can. actually walk down to the water.
The AC was not working on bus #2.

This excursion delivered as promised. Arrival and check in instructions were clear, staff assisted us to the correct bus out of a sea of buses, our driver and our guide Manuel were helpful and got us to the waterfall and back in good time. Additional commentary on the bus provided interesting information. The drink and Icelandic pastry with access to a clean restroom were appreciated. Several drop off options permitted us to explore the city after the excursion to Godafoss. Overall exactly as expected and a good value.
Bus was terrible. AC did not work. It was 100% heat and everyone was very hot on the bus. Bus driver could not figure how to cut off heat and turn on the air conditioning. We were all miserable. Saga Travel is not a good tour travel to book. Viator should look for alternative tour excursion company.

Truly one of the best excursions I’ve ever done. The scenery to and from the waterfalls was amazing. The waterfalls themselves are spectacular and easily accessible. Highly recommend.
Excellent trip to the stunning waterfalls - Michael our tour guide was very interesting telling us lots of information about the area - explained the tour and pick up times etc. Had enough time to enjoy the waterfalls and a welcome hot chocolate and cake which was included at the nearby hotel. A great excursion - thank you

Found the provider (Saga Travel) straight away after getting off the ship. Got taken to the bus.
Guide (Michael) was brilliant. Told you lots of info. Godafoss Waterfall was definitely worth the visit and the drink and Icelandic treat were lovely! Bus driver gave you option of dropping you off at 3 different locations on the return journey which was great. Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.
Good way to spend a couple of hours . Well organised , good tour guide and driver . Nice donut and cake at the waterfall and great to walk along the waterfalls and nice scenery

We really enjoyed the tour to the beautiful Godaffos Waterfall. The tour guide, Hilmar, was excellent and very funny. We loved all his stories. I can’t remember the driver’s name, but she was from Spain and she was very helpful and answered all our questions. Both were very friendly. Highly recommended!
