Really well organised. Found the provider (Saga Travel) straight away after getting off the ship. Got taken to the bus. Guide (Michael) was brilliant. Told you lots of info. Godafoss Waterfall was definitely worth the visit and the drink and Icelandic treat were lovely! Bus driver gave you option of dropping you off at 3 different locations on the return journey which was great. Thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommend.

Excellent trip to the stunning waterfalls - Michael our tour guide was very interesting telling us lots of information about the area - explained the tour and pick up times etc. Had enough time to enjoy the waterfalls and a welcome hot chocolate and cake which was included at the nearby hotel. A great excursion - thank you

Great trip out to the waterfall. Waterfall was easily accessible. Nice to have a little coffee and snack. All in all, a well run tour. There were cheaper options (and more expensive ones) but I am glad we picked this tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and nice and answered many questions.

We enjoyed our trip to the waterfall. The tour guide/driver shared interesting information throughout the drive. Stopping for coffee+a snacks was a nice break on our way back. We had a beautiful sunny day an experience that was well worth our time.

Beautiful Falls, Great Excursion

Great excursion with Saga Tours, booked thru Viator. Great price. Company responded quickly to my questions to clarify meeting point, which was appreciated. Driver was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. An hour at the falls goes by quickly. Most people walk on the left side of falls. I’d suggest walking along right side of falls… great view and way less people. Walking paths are good. You do have time to do both, if you keep moving. Included in trip was a cup of coffee and a local sweet at the hotel, very nice. Clean bathrooms. (no fee). Bus gave option to drop off at the town centre on way back to pier, which was nice.

Tour operators met us at dock/gate. Escorted us to bus. Bus appeared maintained and clean. Guides spoke English well enough. Visit to Godafoss was a bit hurried for seeing both sides of the falls as another tourist needed to get back earlier. Appreciated bathroom and coffee at hotel.

The Godafos Waterfall is a must see. I recommend that you go early and walk on both sides to get in every angle. Spectacular views. We were on a Viking Cruise and the tours were booked from the ship. Viator was easy to use and the tour guide was knowledgeable.

We originally booked only the waterfalls, but not enough signed up, so Saga offered an upgrade to " lake Myvatn Day Tour" for no extra charge. Our guide Julie was excellent and the sights were incredible.

Great excursion. Met at the cruise terminal and show to the minibus by our guide Marvin. We were given information on the journey to the falls and then he was happy to answer any questions. After our stop we had coffee and local donut at the hotel that was provided free. Our return journey was same route but again more info from our great guide. A fabulous excursion that we highly recommend. Good job Saga Travel. 👏🏻👏🏻🚢

Organized and well run excursion to Godafoss

This excursion delivered as promised. Arrival and check in instructions were clear, staff assisted us to the correct bus out of a sea of buses, our driver and our guide Manuel were helpful and got us to the waterfall and back in good time. Additional commentary on the bus provided interesting information. The drink and Icelandic pastry with access to a clean restroom were appreciated. Several drop off options permitted us to explore the city after the excursion to Godafoss. Overall exactly as expected and a good value.

Bus was terrible. AC did not work. It was 100% heat and everyone was very hot on the bus. Bus driver could not figure how to cut off heat and turn on the air conditioning. We were all miserable. Saga Travel is not a good tour travel to book. Viator should look for alternative tour excursion company.

Excellent Godaffos Tour

We really enjoyed the tour to the beautiful Godaffos Waterfall. The tour guide, Hilmar, was excellent and very funny. We loved all his stories. I can’t remember the driver’s name, but she was from Spain and she was very helpful and answered all our questions. Both were very friendly. Highly recommended!

Beautiful!!! A must-see waterfall when in this area. I loved this tour because this was the attraction I wanted to experience without add on places that I was less interested in. There was decent time to enjoy the waterfall and take pictures.

Easy to find the bus, and very close to the Cruise ship pier. Super friendly and helpful staff. The tour lasted about 3 hours and gave you plenty of time to see the waterfall.

Had a wonderful experience with Saga Travel and Hilmar, our guide. The bus ride was smooth, taking us through a very long tunnel going to the falls and through the mountain pass on the way back. Pathways to and around the falls are easy; very manageable. Saga Travel has a connection to this quaint Hotel there, so coffee and a Nordic pastry were a pleasant surprise. Great morning, beautiful falls! We highly recommend this tour!!

Belin did a great job with our small group. There were 4 of us as English speakers and 2 Spanish speakers for this tour. The pick up location at the cruise port was convenient as well. Our excursion was exactly as described and well worth our time and money. The waterfall was spectacular!
