It was a great time. The waterfalls were beautiful. The guide was very knowledgeable as well. I would reccomend this tour.

Bathroom on this specific bus was not working. Guide was super nice and friendly. Got us back-and-forth on time allowed an hour at the waterfall. Waterfall was amazing. Wish we had had more time to stay there because it takes a good hour to walk and get all the pictures you want. Not a lot of time for a shopping or getting a coffee.

Interesting history with Godafoss falls. Informative drive and facts. The 7 km tunnel is unique. Guide is local and knowledgeable

This Godafoss tour was excellent! The driver took a route over the mountains instead of through the tunnel that gave great views of the beautiful and diverse landscape of the area. The tour guide’s narration during the drive was a wealth of information and was greatly appreciated. There was ample time to view the waterfall as well as visit the cafe/souvenir shop before we left. They also gave us the option of a drop off at the botanical gardens which was great - I thoroughly enjoyed this tour!

The short drive from the pier to the Waterfall made the tour even more enjoyable. The driver and guide were excellent.

The waterfalls are magnificent and absolutely worth the visit.
Transport provided was a local bus rather than a coach so was a little noisy. Unfortunately, this also made it almost impossible to hear what the guide was saying at the back but he was very knowledgeable and I'm sure that those that could hear, were well informed.

I accidentally booked the tour for the wrong day. But they made room for us on a later tour that day anyway. Also, I had to disembark my cruise ship so I had luggage. They brought a bus that was big enough to store my luggage. They were so amazing to work with and I highly recommend them. There were four of us so they gave up losing the money they could have made by selling tickets to four other people for the tour they put us on.

Waterfall is amazing.

The seating arrangement on the bus was terrible.
Another couple and ourselves were taken to our bus by the guide and we were told that there were 4 seats available, which was initially correct. The only problem was a very large and extremely hostile family had placed their bags on one of the available seats and told us that they were reserved for the rest of their party. We politely asked them to remove their bags but they refused. We explained that we had been told by the guide that the seats were available for us but they still refused to move them. At this point my wife tried to move the bags and a female family member grabbed my wife’s arm and physically and verbally abused her, it was at this point that the rest of the family became abusive and extremely rude. One very large male member of the family then came and stood over me with the intention of trying to intimidate my wife and I. I eventually managed to calm down the situation the best I could but the whole episode completely ruined our day.
At no point did anyone from the tour company intervene and we were left feeling extremely vulnerable and anxious in case the situation escalated again.
It was such a shame as the waterfall was beautiful and the staff were pleasant and friendly, it’s just a pity that we were left to suffer the abuse without any help from the staff.

Our driver was funny and very personable and gave a great overview of the area. The tour was excellent value for money (May 2026 - we paid approx. $70 USD) vs. booking with cruise line. Note that the restaurant at Godafoss is charging 200 ISK (May 2026) to use the restrooms.

The waterfall was spectacular. Our driver was funny and very personable. It was cold, windy and some rain. Wear warm clothing and good shoes. You will be walking over rocks and dirt.

Great excursion. We just wanted to see the waterfall and this excursion was just that. We learned a lot about the country from our excellent guide as we traveled to and from the waterfall. For us, the time at the waterfall was perfect.

We made this excursion when had our stop with our cruise in Akureri and it was a perfect excursion. We first planned to only make a trip to the waterfall, but then decided to upgrade to the longer tour which was definitely a good idea as there is much more to see, and our tour guide made a great effort to show us hidden gems like the hidden underground thermal cave and - as there was still some time - did a loop with the bus through the quartiers of Akureri. We highly appreciated this extra effort by our tour guide. Many thanks.
