The tour was 90 minutes, which I think was too long. We walked all around downtown (a significant amount of walking) and would only hear short stories at each stop. I would have liked to walk less and hear better stories. It was totally fine! A nice way to spend time with family but not the best ghost tour I've been on.

Our tour guide, Phil, was very entertaining. Beautiful night for walking around historic Wilmington stopping at ghost residences to hear the stories of their journey. Lots of fun and interesting stories.

We had such a great experience on our Wilmington ghost tour, thanks to Andy! He was incredibly knowledgeable—not just about the spooky stories, but about Wilmington’s history as a whole. I especially appreciated that he didn’t shy away from the more difficult parts of that history, including the events of 1898. It added a deeper, more meaningful layer to the tour that you don’t always get with experiences like this.
Andy struck a perfect balance between engaging storytelling and historical accuracy, keeping the group interested the entire time. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he’s sharing.
The only downside had nothing to do with the tour itself—just the relentless tiny bugs outside (bring bug spray if you go!). Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience and I’d absolutely recommend this tour, especially if you get Andy as your guide.

Lots of great stories and a fun experience. The walk is great and the river had a spooky coating of fog to set the mood! Our tour guide was great and kept us all involved and had fun anecdotes from other tours that she gave in the past. Would definitely recommend.

I have done ghost tours in several locations across many states, and this one was especially good! Andy was an amazing tour guide, blending so much historical knowledge with supernatural tales of the area and events from the 1700s to today. It was extremely interesting and at many times spine chilling! We thoroughly enjoyed experiencing Wilmington after dark in such a unique way! Highly recommend!

This is a super fun and informative walking tour of some of the more haunted places in Wilmington. It was our first visit to the city and we did the tour on Halloween to make it extra spooky. Our guide Phil was amazing. If you can, definitely request him because he's really fun and informative, as well as easy to hear when he's speaking.

Very interesting history. Some historical sorties are not pleasant to hear about the subject matter. However, it was fascinating. Our female guide (very difficult name) was vey knowledge and energetic. She made the tour fun and suspenseful.

This is more about modern day “possible” ghosts and not so much about ghosts from the past. I was made to believe this had to do with historical ghosts and records of hauntings.
Our guide was Richard- who kept us standing in the 95 degree heat while he jabbered on for about 20 minutes about his opinions and what he called paranormal activity. We were not impressed as we were standing there suffocating and praying he’d shut up and let us walk. After the second stop which was almost as long and every bit as boring as the meeting place. It was more about more modern day ghosts and very little history. My party ducked out and beat it to Kilwins for some water, ac and chocolate - line was way too long to wait for ice cream. We then walked along the Riverwalk- which was considerably more interesting and a lot less jabber and suspicions. We did see a sign for ghost tours down there- they might be way more worth the $ than this was. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND- unless you want to die of heatstroke and be talked to death about nothing.

This tour was alright, the info was really interesting especially how everything correlates into history and facts from real people. The only disappointment was it wasn’t really about pirates but if you are interested in ghost stories I definitely recommend seeing!

Our tour guide, Jeff, ! Despite the rain and wind, immediately captured our attention as he orchestrated an evening filled with stories of “unexplained happenings” in Wilmington, and the history that evolved as a result of such events. He kept us intrigues with the paranormal occurrences,
history of those events, and how Wilmington has evolved thru the years.
It left us with a well informed appreciation of the developments of this lovely piece of paradise.
