It was a fun experience tubing on the Virgin River. Guides were helpful telling us ahead of time how to navigate the water. They said the water level has been down, but we still had fun! Did get stuck a few times, but all part of the adventure. Great time!

It’s better for the tourist to experience it in between spring and summer or fall so the water is deeper. We went here August, the water was shallow. Though, we had fun experiencing it.

Very enjoyable after a hot morning at the park! Staff was very chill and helpful. Water was low, so there were a few bumps but it added to the fun!

the guides were fun and the tour was pretty quick. the river was very low, due to the dry season, so we had to use a stick to navigate the river often. (we kept getting stuck in the shallow water and rocks)... perhaps it would be more fun earlier in the season?

They worked with us when we thought we had to reschedule our trip, and got back to us right away to reschedule even they looked to be booked up- I really appreciated their flexibility. The float itself was fantastic, though the water was a little on the low side and we had to pick up our inner tubes a couple times. But all in all a fantastic trip and I would highly recommend.🤩

Beautiful setting. We went at end of July. I took my 19 year old son and his best friend. The cool water felt great given how hot it was but the water levels were a bit low so had to really work with the stick they gave us to get through the rocks. Wasn’t just a relaxing float because of the lower water levels but that actually made it more fun and challenging to navigate. Everyone had a blast!

It is harder than it looks when the river is low. We were stuck on rocks and had to get out of the tube often.

The water level was low and it was difficult to maneuver over rocks. Would not recommend to people with small kids or who where incapable of climbing in and out of tube on rocks. Date was July 1 2025
Staff and scenery where great and this would be a 5 star rating if the river where higher.

Our experience was not the best.
~What was supposed to be an easy float downriver ending up being a workout to dislodge ourselves off the bottom of the river and over the rocks.
~The river was apparently lower then average (which we were not told about) this caused us to get stuck multiple times.
~We were bottoming out and dragging the majority of the time. We had to get out of the tube and reposition ourselves off the low places several times.
~ It was more of a workout then a pleasant float downstream.
~My husbands float also had a slow leak in it making his float even more “horrible.
~ His words were, “The few moments of peaceful floating did not make up for consistent times we had to dislodge ourselves….it was horrible. A waste of $80.00 dollars.”
~At the end of the float we had to carry the tubes up an incline to add to our frustration.
*So if you plan on going tubing ask about the water levels and make sure you tube is holding air.

We had the best time. There was only the 2 of us and it was beautiful. The weather was hot so it was nice to get in the cool water. Derenger was the guide and he was very professional and gave us tons of info before we started. Would highly recommend this to anyone. 😀

Staff was great. We were late because of traffic and they waited for us patiently. The ride wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, it was a little more work than I had in mind and I found myself wishing for a paddle. We did get stuck a few times and attacked by trees in the side of the river. When I was floating it was awesome, I loved how quiet and peaceful it was.

It was my first time water tubing, I went with my best friend and her husband and his friends. it was fun, I did get attacked by the trees though.
The staff were super nice and friendly and seemed like they actually wanted to be there🫶🏻

This was such a fun experience! The water was low so we got stuck a bunch of times, but that didn't detract at all from the enjoyment. It was at times peaceful and relaxing and at times exciting as we went through small rapids. The whole situation felt safe yet invigorating. The tubes are sturdy and have tough fabric on the bottom, so you sit inside them rather than having your legs dangle. They are able to withstand bumps on the rocks with no problem. Everything that you take with you in the tube gets wet, so we left our phones behind and only brought water bottles.
The instructions at the beginning were clear, and the exit point was well-marked. You only go maybe a mile and a half down the river, but it felt like more and was such a wonderful experience. At the end, the van was there to meet us and they had a place to hose off the mud and change clothes before we left the facility. All we needed to bring was a towel. Well-worth the cost, which wasn't even too much.

We did this trip with our 9 and 12 year old and it was great! Little harder for the adults due to low river so kept getting stuck on the rocks (in a couple of sections only). Overall it was a lot of fun!

They were just getting started and didn’t mention upon booking that anyone less than 12 wasn’t allowed to go. They were so concerned for our safety it got a bit boring and we had to walk our rafts over a sandy cattle trail rather than float the river they thought was too rough. I paid to float, not walk. Plus it was a short distance and we again at the end had to hold our rafts and hike up a sandy embankment. This wasn’t the same company we had a couple years ago which was 1/2 a mile longer and did not require you to go with a guide.

Thank you for your feedback. In the interests of safety we monitor the daily flow of the Zion Virgin River. We recently implemented a mandatory age restriction of 12 years and older including mandatory flotation devices. This age limit will likely change as the flow River flow reduces, however safety is our number one priority. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your tubing experience.

Tubing was the perfect activity for the heat and a great way to see the amazing views. Our guide was excellent and we had a great time.
