The guide was informative and cognizant of physical disabilities that guests had. The church itself is absolutely magnificent so I highly recommend this tour.

This was an incredible experience away from the crowds and I highly recommend this over or in addition to a daytime tour. We also did the daytime tour and while we got to see more parts of the basilica (especially the brass horses and bridge of sighs), the real magic was in the evening seeing it glow.

St. Mark's Basilica at Night - Magical!

This tour was our joint favourite sightseeing activity during our five days in Venice. Our guide Matteo was superb. Between our group and a couple of others there were around 20 people in the whole of St Mark's Basilica. It was almost dark outside and inside, and the lighting was turned on area by area revealing the stunning interior. Magnificent! There were just seven of us when we visited the crypt which made for a very special visit. A fantastic tour!

Una experiencia fantástica sin duda alguna. A las 7.30 de la tarde quedamos con la guía y tres personas más para recorrer la Plaza de San Marcos. A continuación, una vez que la Basílica de San Marcos hubo cerrado al público entramos en ella prácticamente a oscuras. Sentados en unas sillas frente al altar las luces se fueron encendiendo mágicamente descubriéndonos sus bóvedas doradas! Bajamos también a la cripta, muy interesante las explicaciones de nuestra guía. La otra joya de la basílica, que puede pasar desapercibida, son sus suelos de mosaico.
