Having paid nearly $500 for a family of 4, and being on similar tours we had higher expectations. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the City. However, the locations he took us to seemed unplanned and the food and wine were inexpensive selections. Additionally, we received little background on the local food and wine scene. The highlight of the tour was a trip to a local festival. We really enjoyed that experience as it was well outside the tourist area. In fact all of the spots were tucked away from tourists. That was nice. Our guide was pleasant and spoke impeccable English. We understand that Americans can be notably obsessive about our hygiene and smell. This is something the tour guides with American tourists should consider. Especially when food is the primary attraction. Smell nice, etc.
