- Most travelers can participate
- Please use the restroom before arriving at the meeting point.
- Eating is not allowed（**guests are allowed to drink water and sports drinks inside the stable )
- You can NOT leave the sumo stable in the middle of the practice, and try to stay and watch the practice until the very end.
- If you are not feeling well, please refrain from joining the tour.
- Cellphones must be on silent
- Once you leave the sumo stable, you cannot re-enter.
- Photos are OK but only without the flash or shutter sounds(Videos are not allowed)
- Please do not stretch your legs toward the ring. It is considered impolite to show the soles of feet to the wrestlers. Please watch the practice silently and respectfully
- Please be very careful not to interfere with the sumo wrestlers concentration.
- The practice/tour may be a bit shorter or longer than expected depending on the content of the practice
- Depending on the day, the morning practice schedule may vary, and therefore the duration of the tour may be slightly affected by this, especially when there is a Grand Tournament coming up. Please be aware that the practice may end earlier than usual, meaning the tour will be shorter than mentioned.
- Please be aware that we will not be able to compensate you or refund you if you don't make it to the meeting place, or arrive late, without having checked your messages from us.
- While the Stable is in fact the one where the Yokozuna trains, it is not known until the morning of the experience whether or not he will actually be there. Please be warned in advance.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 50 travelers

This was a great insight into the regimentated training, lifestyle, and dietary practices of the sumo wrestler. With an earbud attached we were told of the recruitment and retirement age, the training methods, and the hierarchy within the stable. It offered us an understanding of a sport that is steeped in tradition and spirituality.

It’s the real deal. Better than any dinner ‘show.’ This is a real training session that gets quite intense at times. The wrestlers are division one and division two status. You really get an insight into their world, and you also see aspects of full on sumo wrestling.

My family and I enjoyed this experience and chance to peek into the rarified world of sumo. The English commentary via headset was very informative. We visited on a cold, rainy day in December and had to wait outside in the rain and once inside the stable it was still somewhat chilly.

I was on my way to the sumo wrestling practice . It was due to start at 16:30. A message came through at 16:01 that it was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts at the stable. I mean, come on, I was already on the train there and with 29 minutes till it was due to start, I can not possibly recommend this to other travellers. I was looking forward to it too.

It's not authentic and there's very little sumo action. Only go if you're interested in doing some limited sumo training practice yourself or in seeing your friends and other tourists making fools of themselves. It's not a real sumo stable and the performers are not professional sumo wrestlers. Incredibly expensive for what it is.

Not as good as our last visit, we had true professional sumos this time it was retired sumo / taxi drivers. The boys enjoyed the interaction with the sumo. They were very friendly and accommodating. Quite different from our previous experience.

An immersive experience into the world of sumo wrestling. We learned the history, the rules, the training, as well as a day in the life of a sumo professional. We did warmup exercises and some hands on training before actually going one on one with a wrestler! Our guide, Tai, was professional, informative and well versed in the world of sumo. We finished up with a question and answer period with the wrestlers and fun pictures. Appropriate for families, couples and solos.
This experience far exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend!

This is a very good experience for anyone visiting
Tokyo who has an interest in Sumo wrestling. The practice session lasted about an hour and the wrestlers were glad to pose with us for photos afterwards. Be aware that you will have to remove your shoes to enter the practice areas and to sit on a floor mat while watching the wrestlers.

This was an amazing tour. Very knowledgeable guide and made the whole process really enjoyable. We got lucky and saw some of the best wrestlers in makuuchi as well as a former yokozuna (hakuho / miyagino oyakata no less). Everyone was really wonderful. Worth it and highly recommend.

Good way to watch the sumo wrestlers in action. Pre practice briefing could be given outside the stable/somewhere quieter as struggled to hear what was being said when this was done next to the main road in front of the station.

It was great to have such a unique experience. The sumo wrestlers were impressive and their training routine was really interesting to watch.
