Ama (sea women) are female free divers, renowned for their skills in pearl collecting and harvesting seafood—a tradition and culture that stretches back over 2,000 years in Japan. Few people get to see them in action, but this unique dinner experience allows you to see them up close, thanks to a giant aquarium in the restaurant's center. Dine on a delicious all-you-can-eat dinner of premium snow crab and sushi, customized to your tastes, with 15-minute performances by the divers every hour. The restaurant aims to provide divers with work during their off-season, and also promote the cultural practice, preserving it for future generations.
