IDPs MUST be in booklet form, not in paper or A4 form.

- Cancel up to 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour start time the paid amount will not be refunded.
- No refunds if you forget to bring your driving license or International Driving Permit (or translation）
- If your tour is canceled due to bad weather, you will be eligible for a full refund. Or you have the opportunity to reschedule depending on availability.
- Due to the nature of operating mechanical parts, when we reach the maximum capacity of booking we may need to amend or adjust bookings depending on kart availability.

This was one of the best experiences in Tokyo. We choose to drive at night and it made it more fun. The crew made it safe throughout the 2 hour ride and even took pictures of us to minimize the risk of us driving with our phones. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a great experience.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure in Tokyo, the Mario Kart street tour is absolutely worth it! Driving through the city’s iconic streets, surrounded by the bright lights and energy of Tokyo, was an incredible experience from start to finish. The guides made safety a priority while keeping the tour fun, and the length of the tour was perfect—it never felt rushed or too long. It was easily one of the highlights of my trip, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and exciting way to see Tokyo.

Outstanding!!! Even better than we anticipated. We did it at night and it was EPIC! Driving thru Shibuya Crossing was such a blast... im only scratching the surface of how awesome the experience was. The entire staff was wonderful. We felt totally prepared and safe, and they were all about us staying safe but having the time of our lives! Mission accomplished!!!

Great time exploring Tokyo at night. The staff made everything super easy and we felt safe driving through the streets at night. They took great pictures through the tour as well.
This was awesome, you are driving in traffic. But it’s Japan, downtown Tokyo, there is no traffic issues.
It is a must when coming to Japan. I have been here with my daughter on a day trip and my son at night 2 separate trips. I recommend the night tour verse day due to the lights but both are great. The tour guides and go carts are good and safe. Really good way to see Tokyo in 2hrs.
This was a super fun experience. Driving through Tokyo at night was so exciting, the lights and energy in Shibuya was worth seeing by itself. The staff were great and had excellent customer service. I felt driving in the cart was safe. I'm from the states so I was nervous about driving on the opposite side of the road, but it was very easy to follow the lead car. when our group did get separated at stop lights, a couple of times, the lead car waited for everyone to get back together. I would try this again.
A must do experience when in Tokyo. Very professional and well organised outfit with well maintained machines. Seems expensive but worth every penny!
This was a highlight of my Japan trip. I was hesitant because the weather was drizzly, but ponchos were provided, and I actually enjoyed the experience even more!

We had an amazing time in the go karts. The guides explained everything well.
You just need to keep up to the lead car and not have big gaps between the go karts or else the person at the end of the line winds up running red lights or is left behind.
The rest of the group will wait for you on the other side, but for a few of our group it was scary and intimidating
We would have liked a few more picture opportunities but other wise we had a great time. The rain sucked but that is obviously no fault of the company's.
What a great experience with the crew at @japan.kart on helping a big party of 9 to really enjoy Shinjuku and Tokyo tower! The karts were fast enough to keep us out of trouble but also provide the excitement. Highly recommend doing this with your loved ones. Just be aware, if you decide to wear their onesies (which is a must) there are no other pockets to put your phone or devices that are easily reached. They do have free.chest harnesses for phones and works pretty good. All in all, we’ve never had so many smiling faces and stoke!!

I would highly recommend taking this specific go kart trip with this specific group. Everyone was very friendly and nice. Obviously, you need to have the required documentation to be able to drive. It is made very clear in the descriptions! We were first given specific instructions on driving safety and the how to use the karts. I felt prepared before we got on the road. Let me tell you- in the beginning, it was so scary! You are really driving in regular traffic! But it is so freaking cool! You are totally safe- there is a lead car in the front and back of your group. The leaders of the group also take pictures for you, so you can concentrate on driving. It took at least two hours and it was a lot of fun. It was awesome sightseeing. This was money well spent!
We had an absolute blast doing the go-kart tour through Shibuya, and it’s not a race—it’s more like a super fun sightseeing drive. You actually get to take the go-karts right onto the roads, including passing through the famous Shibuya Crossing and catching a glimpse of the Tokyo Tower.
It was about a two-hour experience, and even though it was a bit cold when we went, the organizers provided jackets, gloves, and all the gear you might need. They even took photos for us, which was a nice touch. So if it’s a chilly day, definitely bundle up or maybe pick a shorter tour. But if the weather’s nice, it’s an absolutely fantastic and unique way to see the city. Definitely recommend it!

It was one of the most amazing and most fun things I’ve experienced in Tokyo Japan and this is my very first time here in Japan and I’m here celebrating my birthday!!! and this was the Best Gift Ever ! I mean I was Fast & The Furious with my amazing group as well lololol loved it
This was a lot of fun, all the staff were so friendly and took heaps only photos for you along the way. We had a great time
In spite of this being typhoon season, we took a chance and booked our reservation. Unfortunately, our ride was cut short due to heavy rains and thunderstorms. And although we didn't get to enjoy the full ride, we appreciated the outstanding customer service. We were even offered a return voucher to make up for being rained out.

Terms do not say you have to have physical copy of international dl. Had pictures but they would not allow us to ride and no refund

Thank you for your feedback. I'm truly sorry to hear that you were unable to participate in the experience.
To clarify, Japanese road law strictly requires that drivers carry the physical copy of their valid International Driving Permit (or qualifying license) at the time of driving. Unfortunately, digital copies or photos are not accepted under any circumstances. This requirement is outlined in the “Additional Info” section of our Viator listing, as well as in the confirmation email.
We understand this can be frustrating, especially when travelers are unaware of the need for the original document. However, compliance with local traffic laws is mandatory, and we are not legally permitted to make exceptions.
As a small team, we prepare for each reservation in advance, which is why we have a no-refund policy when guests arrive without the required documentation. While we regret the situation, we hope the explanation provides some clarity.
