- This morning tour ends at Asakusa. We do not supply any extra drop off service.
- Please let us know your booking numbers and total number of people before the tour if you have several bookings or if you have booked separatly.
- Due to the weather conditions, traffic conditions, or suspension of operation, we may have a possibility not to achieve all the activities. The tour will be attending to alternative place or giving ou t a gift as a compensation depending on a situation at that time. Refunds will not be given for these changes.
- If you are late for the tour start time, you will not be able to join the tour mid-way.
- Matcha store will be closed on May 9th, so we will be giving out matcha souvenirs as Matcha experience.
- Please handle the loading and unloading of your luggage from the trunk yourself. (Including wheelchairs, stroller etc..)
- Not recommended for those who can not walk long distance
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 49 travelers

Good tour and tour guide. Bus was clean and comfortable. Tsumba was great—-very friendly and knowledgeable and funny. However I do not think the tour was worth the $93.00 that we paid. We stopped at 3 main sites and we literally “passed by” many other stops along the way which was difficult to see while on the bus. Again the tour itself was good and the tour guide great. I gave this tour a low rating for the overall value given the cost and what we got out of the tour.

The half day tour is exactly half of the full day tour so, you will not be dropped back at your originating location. Meaning, we were left on the other side of the city to find our way back.

Our guide, Lisa, was very organized but attentive as she had to arrange for a larger group tour. She was pleasant, had a great sense of humor and did a wonderful shop showing us the sights.

It was ok, the guide was very nervous but it was her first solo tour. Not worth doing the half day, go for the full day as half day was only 3 hours.

I ask specifically if this includes pick up and drop , they said yes
We were pick up at Robert Indiana sculpture: LOVE and they say we will be drop off in the same place.
This is totally deception, and is not acceptable.
How can I recommend you guys with what just happened.
They left us At Asakusa and said the drop off is not included. They told us to take the train or taxi, which we did and we were just left hanging.
This is a very bad experience. We just took the train and we just got here in Shingjuku. OMG what a ride.

Description of tour is very misleading! Senso-Ji Temple was not included in the half day tour. There was no stroll at the Grand Palace. You can't go anywhere near the Palace. It's basically a walk to a bridge, take a photo, walk back. I paid a lot of money for this tour for myself and my daughter and afterwards felt violated. We saw absolutely bugger all and felt like the guide couldn't get through it fast enough. I would definitely not recommend this tour. We were on the tour with full day tour participants and they received lunch, time at the Sky Tree and a cruise. We felt incredibly inferior and let down. This company took my money and we got virtually nothing in return. Never again will I book through Viator. I'd love at least half of my money back, but that's just not going to happen is it?

We participated a half day tour, it fit our schedule. The tour guide, Ayaka, was wonderful! Her knowledge of Japanese culture and fluency of English were Amazing! She was not only professional but also very friendly and funny! The driver was also very professional and friendly. We enjoyed the tour a lot!

Yume was a lovely and fun guide! However it was hard to hear her in the back of the bus an we could not see the pictures she was showing. After we moved to the front seat , the experience was much better.

Hiro was superb and knowledgeable. He was very funny. I highly recommend this tour and Hiro. There was a gentleman who had trouble walking and Hiro made sure that he was ok all the time.

Aiko was a wonderful host! She was very kind and fun to talk to! On our half day, we went first to Meiji shrine in Shibuya, which was gorgeous! The information Aiko gave us about the history of the sake barrels and wine barrels on the way in, as well as the Torii gate being a gift from Taiwan, was very interesting! We also saw a ton of neat stuff on the bus on the way to the Imperial Palace, which was also very neat. The statue of the samurai was interesting, and Aiko told us the meaning behind the horse's position on the statue (that it has one leg up because the samurai lost the battle, but did not die). The imperial palace was so pretty with the bridges and moat in front. Finally, we went to grab some matcha! I liked the fact that they had a variety of matcha items to choose from, and the matcha place was very close to the Senso-Ji temple, where I purified, prayed, and collected yet another goshuin.
Aiko was a great tour guide and I would recommend this tour as a great sampling of some of the great sites in Tokyo!

We didn’t think this tour was worthwhile. At Imperial Palace you only see a bridge and not even taken to the free open gardens of the palace. This stop was pointless. The Meiji Shrine was excellent as was Asakusa. But the guide shared very little history about Tokyo or Japan or the locations. We expected to learn more about the culture and sites we visited so this was disappointing.

This tour was very average. I appreciated not having to take the subway to all these places. We were picked up in Ginza and driven to the Meiji shrine which was gorgeous. I could have spent a morning here. Then we took a drive to the Imperial Palace. Then a drive to Asakusa for matcha. The first half of the trip we briefly saw two items of interest but our guide spent most of the time counting us and ensuring us we wouldn’t be left behind and repeatedly reminding us of the upcoming stops, despite having been given a written out itinerary with photos. Would have loved to hear more about what we were seeing on our drive, history of Tokyo etc. For $100 Canadian each I expected a bit more than the tour and one cup of matcha.

A wonderful introduction to Kyoto and some of the most beautiful sites! Yoshi and Asuka were amazing. A great lunch too. Definitely recommend - but not for those that have difficulty walking.

When my wife, daughter, and I failed to arrive on time for the early morning half-day tour, I was extremely impressed by how the phone operator treated the situation in such a way that we were able to catch up with the tour.

Was a bit disappointed. Most of the time was on a bus listening to an automated voice as we went through some area. We visited the shrine for the Emperor which was good. Then one more stop at a statue and a walk to another view. Not much information/history shared with the large group. Much of the tour was spent counting heads and calculating how many people were ordering hot or cold matcha tea at the 'Matcha Experience'. I wouldn't recommend this half day tour. Red up about the shrine and go to it yourself. Not worth the money for this tour.

Even though it was really hot, the tour was great. You get visit many sites and the air- conditioned bus is a plus. Levin, our tour guide was the best. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Japan and defined a temple versus a Shrine. I would definitely book again and take the full day tour with lunch.
