Great food and good conversation

Although both tours I booked ended up changing their time and dates, that will be the only criticism. We were taken around the old town of Trapani with great information about the long history of the place. Many stops along the way, sampling the local foods and a glass of the local wine meant no other food was needed for the rest of the evening. I don't eat meat but I do eat fish so there was an option for me at every stop.

We have taken many tours over the years w/ Viator and a food tour in every place we have gone. This was absolutely the worst tour we have ever been on. It was supposed to be a local w/ knowledge of the area but instead, we had a young Polish man in his early 20's who had been in Sicily only 30 days and had his girlfriend and other friends on the tour following along. The food selected was horrible as we waited at each stop for 10 minutes to bring out the food and they were bad. The selection was horrible and the food worse. We then walked 20 minutes, with no discussion about the area-nothing, as we just talked amongst ourselves to watch a sunset where the guide ordered an anchovy pizza - that is very specific. Half of our party departed as they were clearly upset. For what was paid for the tour, I will be discussing a refund w/ Viator as this was an absolute disaster. Viator should be ashamed and re-think their partnership w/ this company as they were definitely doing as little as possible to maximize their profit which is understandable but it could still make a memorable experience. I would NOT recommend this tour.
