Nice Day Out, but Missing Warmth from the Captain

We were a group of 11 friends and family on a day trip from Trapani to Favignana. Overall, the trip was well-organised and the boat itself was nice and comfortable. The crew was friendly and attentive, especially Marianna, who really stood out for her kindness, smiles, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the captain. While he was definitely professional and made us feel safe throughout the journey, his attitude was unwelcoming and a bit arrogant. He never smiled, didn’t really engage with the passengers, and his overly serious approach created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere. On a leisure day trip like this, one would expect not only safety and professionalism, but also a bit of warmth, humour, and friendliness — after all, it’s part of the experience. In summary, it was a good day thanks to the company of our group and the beautiful scenery of Favignana, as well as the efforts of Marianna and the rest of the crew, but the captain’s cold demeanour took away some of the joy of the trip. Because of this, I would not recommend this particular boat trip to any of my friends or to the tourist clients who join my tours.

A decent boat trip

It's a yatch, not a luxury yatch. Crew guys were smoking non stop on the boat, which is not pleasant. Music sometimes can be quite loud but the crew was happy to adjust it down. I wish there was more introduction about the history of the islands. Nice simple lunch.
