A cooking class you won’t forget!! 🥹

Alessia is such an amazing woman! She knows everything about Siracusa, from the street market where she has been working since young to the history of the city where she’s now running her own cooking class. We started the day with a walk through the street market where we tasted some italian cheese, caponata, croissant with ricotta and a glass of wine. We then bought some fresh ingredients we would have then cooked at the cooking class (fresh fish of the day, and veggies). We bought this experience as a bday present for my partner who loves both cooking and the italin cuisine and everything's been great! 🥰❤️ Can’t recommend Alessia enough!!

The chef was friendly and knowledgeable. Much of the menu items were already premade by the chef ahead of time - the pasta dough, the cannoli shell dough. It wasn't as hands on as we thought it would. For the cost, we expected more.

It was a nice lady with a lot of good tips. But it wasn´t the experience we hoped for. She really rushed during the course, we could´t even finish our own pasta because she thouth we were too slow and she did it for us. Besides this, we planned to make cannoli's, but we didn't make it ourselves. She prepared the dough and filling, the only thing we did was rolling the dough in the right form. Even more, we only made the pasta, not the sauce. The course finished also after more or less 1h, which wasn't worth the money.

Alessia met us at our B&B and walked us to the market to pick out the food for our meal. We then walked to the kitchen for our cooking class. We made fresh pasta for the first time. We enjoyed our time at this class.
