Paying to skip the line is so worth it. This gallery is one of my personal favorites. Not to be missed.

Was a little difficult finding the representative near the front entrance. The audio guide is an app you have to download and its numbers do not coordinate at all with exhibits. Took a while to figure out what room your in. Experience on this ‘tour’ suggests not worth doing. Better off get tickets on your own or find a tour with a guide who is with you all the time

I paid 44 Euro for a "skip the line" ticket to the Galleria Borghese on July 26th. This was a timed ticket for the 2:00-4:00pm time slot, with an audio guide. After being unable to download the voucher from my email, I wrote to Viator to explain the situation. I was told that I should arrive at the museum by 2:00, and that someone from Viator partner City Wonders would be waiting there for me with my ticket.
As I arrived about fifteen minutes late and was unable to download the voucher with the detailed meeting point instructions until after 2:00 pm, I was never able to find the City Wonders agent. When I called City Wonders, I was informed that the agent had already left for the day, and that there was no way to contact the agent to arrange another meeting, and that it was impossible to send me a photo of the ticket to allow me to enter the museum, which the Galleria Borghese employees kindly suggested they would accept. I am absolutely outraged at the inefficiency of this system and total disregard for customer service City Wonders showed. Can a ticket not be sent over email? Can the company not contact their own employees?
I paid 44 Euro for a ticket that I NEVER received, and I was told by City Wonders that they could not help with any request for a refund, which needed to be done on my own through Viator. NOWHERE in ANY communication with Viator was I told that late arrivals would not be able to receive a ticket. The phrase "late arrivals cannot be accommodated" in a communication from Viator is not nearly specific or detailed enough to indicate the actual policy of City Wonders that late arrivals will be DENIED the PRE-PAID ticket. Was my ticket given away to someone else? Did anyone receive a ticket from City Wonders? I have no way of knowing, because I never even saw the ticket I paid for. I am incredibly upset by this situation, and I request a refund in full from Viator.
I have booked with Viator in the past (2016 in Bethlehem and Jericho) and found their local guides to be incredibly professional and knowledgeable, but knowing that Viator uses unprofessional, disorganized, and disreputable partners like City Wonders causes me to seriously question if I would ever book with Viator again. Even the museum staff at the Galleria Borghese shook their heads in disbelief when I explained the price I paid for the ticket and the response I received from City Wonders. When a supervisor called City Wonders on my behalf, she too was disturbed by their unhelpfulness, arbitrary policies, and lack of customer care.
As the saying goes, I'm leaving 1 star only because I can't leave 0 stars. Unless Viator can make this right, I will strongly discourage friends and family traveling in the future (whether to Rome or otherwise) from booking through Viator when they use local partners that cannot be relied upon. I have traveled extensively in Europe and the Middle East, and my friends and family often come to me asking for recommendations. When I give them advice on local sites of interest to visit, I'll tell them to "book a tour, but not through Viator."

I was glad to have been able to visit Galleria Borghese despite tickets being sold out for the day. I paid Viator multiple times the ticket rate for last minute access.

Easy meet up with our rep. Very friendly. Gallery was amazing. Just enough time too see all floors. Communicated by phone when we were delayed which I appreciated.

The service was very good, easy to buy (if you may afford it), easy to check in.
However, this service is a distortion way to get an entrance at Villa Borghese. There is no justification that the providers have exceptional access to tickets/entrances already sold out at Villa Boghese website. .

This was a good tour and we learned a lot about the art at Borghese. There wasn’t a tour of the gardens as indicated in the description. The guide was somewhat hard to understand and seemed scripted. Too much time was spent outside staring at the entrance, I’d rather have had more time in the gallery.

We have never taken a private tour before our tour with Salvatore at the Borghese gallery. I am quite committed now to visiting museums ONLY with a private tour. We have loved visiting the Borghese in the past, but having a very knowledgeable guide enhanced the experience beyond measure. Worth every cent. Salvatore was perfect: kept a good pace, was very well educated in the art and history of the gallery.

We had never been to Borghese Gallery before and it was a great experience. We would recommend this tour.

The Borghese is a beautiful art gallery filled with incredible art. I read online that you had a 15 minute leeway on either side of your assigned time for entry. Unfortunately, we were lost, so arrived 15 minutes after our assigned time, to find the rep from the tour company had gone. I called the tour company from someone's phone and was told they tried to call me. My phone didn't work in Italy, so they were unable to reach me. The person on the phone said there was nothing they could do since we were late arriving. We bought tickets at the Gallery and, actually, walked right in (about 3:15PM). We were there in November, but I believe in the Summer, the skip the line ticket would have been useful. I spoke with Viator on the phone, who called the tour company, and they offered to reschedule my tickets, but that was unnecessary, since we went the day of our scheduled skip the line. So, in spite of me paying twice to enter the Borghese, it's well worth it, but, if you are there on off season, go later in the afternoon and you will have no trouble getting in.

Skip the line tickets for Borghese gallery (Roma, Italy) is very comfortable way to see famous art works without long lines and in timely manner. Viator is highly recommended.

A tour of the Borhese Gallery is an absolute must for a visit to Rome. Our guide was both knowledgable and enthusiastic. It was a great tour and an absolute highlight.

Although we had not booked any tour just the ticket because we were 7 minutes late to meet the company representative (due to taxi slowness on account of rain) we could not obtain the ticket we had paid for. We had to leave without getting to see the Galleria at all.

After the disappointment in the overcrowded Vatican museums, the Borghese was a breath of fresh air. The real way to enjoy art. Massimo, our guide, was excellent.

As avid museum goers who have been blessed to visit many world-class museums, it is diificult to find something that could make a stronger impression on the two of us. The Villa Borghese is simply the most beuatiful, most impressive museum we have every walked through. The Skip The Line opportunity made the experiience even better. It was a wonderful way to become immediately immersed in the outstanding Borghese collection without having to waste valuable vacation time standing in a long line of tourists waiting in the hot sun to get in. We highly recoommend using this service.

Don't waste your money, paid double that the normal ticket price. There was no advantage to this. We could have bought the tickets there and saved money.

The start was very poor. Guides were late and instructions not clear. Much confusion as we were not told where to go, tickets only or guide. Those in charge were late and not friendly. Did not give a hoot.
When finally assigned a guide, Paula, we started and from there on it was just great! Paula was well organized and very knowledgeable. Patient and friendly. Could not have asked for a better guide. However the beginning was terrible.

Absolutely need the reservation. Great museum. Order tickets on advance, because they have limited amount of people inside. I am very highly recommend it. We enjoyed our time. What a great collection of fine art. Do not forget audio guide. It is not expensive and let you know information that you need. Also very easy to navigate.
WonJeong_K, Oct 2019
this museum was splendid! would visit again when i'm back in rome. the atmosphere, the arts, the garden.. everything was just perfect.
Jennifer_D, Oct 2019
Called an Uber 40 minutes before but it was late & so were we by 5 mins. No one waited & we missed it. We tried to work with borghese staff but the group we went with “didn’t have our ticket” major disappointment. I understand we were late but it would’ve been nice if someone waited 10 minutes - there were two other people in the same situation as us.
Deborah S, Oct 2019
The museum staff were rude and when asked about the skip the line - which we had paid at least twice the amount of regular admission- was told there is only one line. We were treated like potential thief’s when we visited the book store

Advance reservations at the Borghese Gallery are absolutely necessary. However the Borghese's website is cumbersome, hard-to-navigate and intermittently unusable. Viator's service doubles the price of tickets, but it is worth the price if you are trying to buy tickets from abroad, before you travel to Italy.
You receive a voucher, which you present to an agent, who meets you in front of the museum. Meeting the agent is very reliable and easy. Highly recommended.

The tickets were way overpriced for the value of the actual tickets.....spent $85 for $30 tickets......disappointed
Kathleen_A, Sep 2019
This museum is worth every effort to get there. The detail of the sculptures, in particular Bernini's Ratto di Proserpina, is stupendous.
Glenn_p, Sep 2019
Save $$$$buy tickets yourself for 15eu.there was no line I paid 42eu..for tour but said only admission.
jilmcd, Sep 2019
Viator way overpriced this ticket. MUCH cheaper elsewhere! I think the tickets at the location are about 15-18 Euros for the same experience.
Clifford_L, Sep 2019
This was one of the few tours where we didn't go with a guided tour. When we arrived the person getting the tickets was so rude. When I tried to ask questions they simply replied with "what do you want". Perhaps because we didn't book with the tour guide. Not impressed.
ANGELALBERTO_B, Sep 2019
Very dissatisfied with hiring the guided tour in English. The guides only gave us the entrance tickets and with total discrimination, in front of the group convened for the agreed 15 hours, they abandoned us to our fate and we had to enter with the rest of the visitors who had only paid the entrance fee.
Our previous experience with the visit to "The Last Supper" we did last year was very good. This time we are totally offended by the treatment of company personnel.
We could see the works but we lacked the explanation for which we paid in time and form

We came a bit late due to terrible traffic in Rome. The tour operators refused to accommodate us for a later time. Just lost our money

This is a wonderful gallery and I expected queues and queues of people. In reality, the gallery are incredibly strict on how many people they allow in (unlike the likes of the Louvre!) When tickets are gone, they are gone... this ticket was more than double price value. Wait outside, collect it and in you go. Almost felt like buying from a tout. Plan in advance and book directly!
