It was a good helicopter tour, though I wish it were longer. The views were breathtaking and the pilot was awesome. Even though we didn’t get to see “live” lava, we did see some steam vents and cooled lava fields, as well as craters.

Once in a lifetime chance to see an erupting volcano! The pilot circled the volcano from multiple angles so everyone seated inside got a great view of the flowing lava. The staff was great. Thanks for the ride!

My wife and I did the short volcanic eruption tour. I thought we would just be viewing it from the sky, which would have been worth it by itself, but to my surprise we actually landed on the site of one of the eruptions from several years ago and got to walk around for a bit. It was like being on a different planet! The pilot and everybody at the company were so friendly and professional, and we were fortunate to have perfect weather and see everything! This was an incredible experience we will never forget!

Our Tour left over an hour after it was supposed to go. The only thing we saw for a few craters in the city of Reykjavík. The pictures on the website are deceiving as it would appear you would fly directly over a volcano and had a chance of seeing actual heat or lava, always saw black rocks and some steam. Also, there were several people on our trip who were supposed to be on a summit trip and stopped on the summit, however, due to the trip being started too late we were not able to do this.

Booked the helicopter volcano tour as it has been on my bucket list to see an active eruption, wasn’t sure of seeing much as it was over a week since the eruption, the waiting room and facilities was very nice, the helicopter clean and modern, the pilot friendly and professional, we took off and flew to the eruption site, I cannot put into words how amazing the eruption was, the pilot gave us exceptional views of the eruption aswell as knowledge of the area, absolutely breathtaking seeing the lava spewing out of the ground and bubbling in the opening, a view i will probably never see again, if you are in Iceland and the eruption is still taking place then you need to book this, absolutely unreal, 20 out of 10,

I was able to book this last minute and was still able to get a reservations No time was given but later received a text with our tour time Highly recommend. Pro tip--Give something to the pilot during the safety brief (Small gift, etc) and you have a higher chance of sitting in the front seat.

The tour was very interesting seeing Iceland from the air. The guide was very informative, especially about the recent eruptions of the volcanos. Landing and walking around a volcano was fascinating. Little did we know that later that night the volcano would erupt again.

Pilot was amazing made sure everyone got an opportunity to see and was easy on the eyes himself which made the experience so much better. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this tour and how movie like the view/experience felt. It was my first time in a helicopter and definetly won’t be my last!

Seeing volcanoes from the air and the terrain of Iceland was awesome. The tour of the blue lagoon, the towns and really enjoyed walking up to the lava flows that had cooled down, pilot looked out for our safety at all times
