This is a fast-paced and informative tour of beautiful Porto. Our guide Zurine was incredible. She was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. Zurine was very conscientious of our riding group and before riding to the next site she would give tips on the best e-bike settings for us and explain the route we would be taking. She was an excellent guide and we were so happy to have the day with her in this wonderful place.

A Fabulous Private Customized Tour of Porto

What a wonderful 4 hours we spent with Joao Jesus. The car was roomy & cool & water was provided to all 4 of us. Joao was very attentive & flexible regarding scheduling sites we preferred to visit & yet, offered great suggestions for us. He even assisted us in getting jump the line tickets for the Lello Bookstore & parked right outside. Without all this we would have never gone there & we were glad we did. Joao’s knowledge of Portugal’s history was astounding and he presented it in such an interesting manner. We were able to visit various sites and take beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling in the beautiful city of Porto for the 1st time or even if it is a repeat visit because Joao will customize your tour to meet your needs. Cannot wait for our next visit!!

An amazing experience

A full day experience visiting the beautiful Douro Valley. Each stop included a tasting of something locally produced accompanied by some local wine. Luiz our guide was amazing. Highlight for us was the stop in Amarante, tasting praprika-cured prosciutto in a very small bar. Can highly recommend this tour.

Tuk Tuk tour with Victor!

Victor was a great driver. He was punctual (early), friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. He accommodated us around issues we had with our flight from Manchester- kept great communication throughout. We had a brilliant tour seeing all the historical sights. Victor gave us the background and history of the city. This gave us a real starting point for the rest of our stay. Victor allowed us time to explore and take photos - it was great. I would definitely recommend taking a tuk tuk with Victor.

Fun and relaxing trip between Porto and Lisbon

It is the ideal way to travel from Porto to Lisbon. The towns are all quite different from each other and all are very interesting and fun. My husband, my adult son, and I all agreed it was amazing and worth the cost. We arrived in Lisbon feeling happy after a great day rather than tired out from a long train ride. Our driver, Nelson, was extremely punctual, polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. He didn’t rush us at all and had great recommendations for lunch and treats. It’s not an inexpensive excursion, but we found it to be money well spent! We highly recommend Nelson and the experience.

A tasty introduction to Porto

Excellent food tasting tour of Porto. Our small group of 9 from the UK and USA were introduced to the food of Porto and what makes it such an awesome city to visit. We first went to a small local restaurant for green bean soup, bifana, and some cod croquettes. Accompanied by a glass of vinho verde. Delicious. Then we went for a Ginja - cherry liquor served in a chocolate cup. Purchased a few souvenirs in there. Next was Pastel de Nata and espresso in a coffee shop. You have to have a pastel de Nata when you visit Porto. So tasty. After that we visited a locally run shop serving wines, ports, spices, cheese and meats. Here we had a charcuterie board with meats, sardines, goats cheese, cheese, olives, bread, crackers, figs stuffed with walnuts, crackers. Wow. The sardines were so tasty we bought a few tins. Last stop was another locally run shop for port and dark chocolate. A brilliant way to spend 3 hours in Porto. A huge thank you to Helena our guide.
