We had a great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the art and the museum. She gave time for restrooms, pictures, and was very thorough in explanations. It really made our time in the museum even more enjoyable. Getting the history on pieces and time after the tour to keep exploring was a great way to see the museum.

This tour was great! Our tour guide Addy was FANTASTIC. She was very knowledgeable, polite, respectful, and provided important details about history and masterpieces in the museum. Everything was done on time, and she kept the group engaged the whole time! The museum is huge but we focused on the most relevant items. This tour is really worth it!.

Small group Louvre tour

David_H, May 2026
Z was our very knowledgeable guide. He gave great information and insight into the entire museum. He showed us the highlights and provided technical details about what we were seeing. Having a group of less than 20 people allowed us to move through the museum expeditiously.

Response from Host, May 2026

Hi David, thank you so much for the kind words! We are thrilled you enjoyed the technical insights and knowledge Z shared during your Louvre visit. Keeping our groups under 20 is exactly how we ensure everyone moves through the museum efficiently while still catching all the highlights. Please tell your friends and family about The Tour Guy so they can experience the Mona Lisa with us too, and we hope to see you on another adventure soon!

We very much enjoyed the small group tour of the Louvre booked through Viator, led by our guide, Martin. Martin was very knowledgeable and provided an excellent review of the Louvre's highlights, from ancient Egyptian relics forward (and not just focusing on the Mona Lisa) with a good historical framework. We highly recommend this small group Louvre tour, particularly if you can get Martin.

Response from Host, May 2026

Hi Nancy, thank you for the wonderful recommendation! We are so glad you appreciated Martin’s historical framework and his dedication to showing off the Egyptian relics alongside the famous masterpieces. It is always our goal to provide a deep dive into the history of the museum. If you could share your experience with your inner circle and mention The Tour Guy, we would truly appreciate it. We look forward to welcoming you back for more history soon!

The Louvre with Mona Lisa tour

David_G, May 2026
The Louvre is massive, but the tour booked through Viatour provided a small group and bypass the lines. Once inside the tour guide was excellent at moving us along and providing great insight and humour showing enough so then you can continue on your own if you wish. It would take days to see it all!

Response from Host, May 2026

Hi David, thank you for choosing us for your visit to the Louvre! We are glad the skip the line access and our guide’s humor helped make such a massive museum feel manageable and fun. It really is the best way to get your bearings before exploring further on your own. Be sure to shout out The Tour Guy to your friends and family looking for a Paris getaway. We hope to see you again on your next trip!

It’s very crowded and warm in the building. A lot of information about a few of the paintings and sculptures.

Our tour rep “Z” was extremely knowledgeable. It was an amazing tour of the louvre. Wish I could have stayed longer. Will use Viator for all my tours

A great tour

Taylor_B, May 2026
Our tour guide through the Louvre was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and great at explaining the art and the significance. He was able to help navigate us through the large crowds and cover the important parts. At the end of the tour we were allowed to stay to explore on our own.

This lone ranger had a great time, thanks to Sid. He had us cracking up while also giving us so much history on the art and the museum. Very much enjoyed walking around with this group. It was easy to find the group meet stop. It was awesome we got a locker and a special bathroom before we started too! This place is huge and loved it all. Merci!

NK was a great guide, thanks so much for our tour.

Our guide, Martin, was excellent. We didn’t wait in line very long to enter since we were on a tour. Even though very crowded inside the museum, Martin kept us all together. Lots of standing and stairs.

Better info re who you’re meeting and where, especially expansive venues like the Louvre. Our guide, Carolina, was outstanding.

Loving the Louver

Colin_W, May 2026
"Z," our guide, was excellent; he kept the group at a doable pace for all, especially with the crowds. He explained a lot about the art pieces and incorporated historical context to give everyone an idea of what was going on at the time. Gave suggestions on where to stand to take pictures, especially at the Mona Lisa. He answered questions, and at the end of the tour, he was patient and made sure everyone knew what direction they were headed to get where they wanted to go. The Louver is humongous, and it would have taken us much longer to find the highlights without this tour.

Great experience

Janice_B, May 2026
Great experience with Victoria. She was very knowledgeable, funny and sweet. She shows great enthusiasm and answered all of our questions. This tour is a great way to get a taste of The Louvre which is extremely massive and is nice for a small group. I would highly recommend.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Janice, We are so glad Victoria’s enthusiasm and humor helped make the massive Louvre feel approachable! Small groups truly are the best way to get a taste of such a grand museum. We look forward to seeing you and your questions on another tour in the future.

Sid at the Louvre

Hannah_C, May 2026
It was the best experience I could’ve asked for. We received sooo much interesting history and details about everything there. AND the tour guy, Sid, was so funny and knowledgeable. He even regularly put a spin on how common themes in the art related to what’s going on in today’s world, my mother and I very much enjoyed that. Thank you again, Sid.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Hannah, It sounds like you had an enchanting time with Sid! We love how he connects historical themes to the modern world—it really brings the art to life. Thank you for the wonderful feedback, and we hope to see you again soon!

Tristan_M, May 2026
Sid was an absolutely fantastic guide. If we could, we would have him lead every tour we took. He seamlessly threaded together each piece of art, resulting in a fluid and comprehensive look at French history. In addition to having a great sense of humor, he was incredibly kind and easy to talk to. Don’t miss your chance to take a tour with him!

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Tristan, We are thrilled that Sid’s ability to thread together art and history made such a lasting impression on you! It is high praise to hear you’d have him lead every tour if possible. We look forward to seeing you on another fluid and comprehensive adventure in the future.

Great tour with too much to see

Patricia_S, May 2026
Great attraction and tour. Guide was very knowledgeable but spent too much time at specific works of art. There is soo much to see, would have preferred to see more vs receiving more in-depth insight.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Patricia, We appreciate your feedback regarding the depth of the tour. While we strive to provide expert insight, we understand the desire to cover more ground given the museum's incredible scale. We have discussed this with our training team to ensure our guides balance in-depth commentary with a broader overview of the highlights. We are glad you found the attraction great and hope to host you again for a more varied exploration.

Wonderful Tour and Guide

Sandy_N, May 2026
Very informative and loved the tour guide! He gave us so much information on the beautiful works of art! Would 10 out of 10 do it again!

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Sandy, A 10 out of 10 is the best feedback we could ask for! We are thrilled you loved the insights into the artwork and had such an informative visit. We would love to guide you through more of the world’s treasures on your next trip.

Well guided Louvre museum experience

Alan_Y, May 2026
We had a great trip through the very crowded Louvre museum with our guide, Will. He was extremely knowledgeable about so many areas as we maneuvered our way through. His explanations of many of the artworks made the trip enjoyable. The Mona Lisa was everything we thought it would be. It really pays to go on these small guided tours. We were in and out without waiting in long lines with the masses. Highly recommend!

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Alan, Navigating a crowded Louvre is a skill, and we are so pleased Will made the maneuver enjoyable for you! It is wonderful that his explanations brought the art to life despite the busy atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you on another highlights tour.

Genya_M, May 2026
I recently took a guided tour of the Louvre and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience due to the tour guide’s conduct. While I expected an informative and engaging overview of the museum’s art and history, the guide repeatedly veered into highly inappropriate and unrelated socio-political commentary. This included personal lectures on topics like colonialism and the Israel/Palestine conflict, as well as statements about religious history that felt out of place and, at times, presented in a biased or provocative way. Regardless of one’s personal views, a museum tour, especially at a world-renowned institution like the Louvre should remain focused on art, history, and cultural context in a balanced and professional manner. The commentary disrupted the experience and made what should have been an enriching visit uncomfortable. I did raise my concerns with the tour company, and to their credit, they handled the situation professionally and were responsive. However, I’m not confident that meaningful changes will be implemented. For future visitors: I would strongly recommend avoiding Sid as a guide if you’re looking for a focused, respectful, and art-centered tour experience.

Joe was engaging, full of energy and extremely knowledgeable! He made the 2.5 hour tour go by so quickly. He highlighted the best views for the pieces of art. The tour was very enjoyable! Thanks Joe!

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Lauren, We are thrilled to hear that Joe’s energy and expertise made your time at the Louvre fly by! It is wonderful that his tips for the best views helped you fully appreciate the art. We look forward to seeing you on another adventure soon.

Awesome Tour

dana_d, May 2026
Awesome tour and tour guide. Our guide know as Z , was excellent and gave us so much insight into the history of the Louvre and the artists. Skipping the line tours saved us hour as the lines were insane .

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Dana, We are thrilled that Z provided such deep insight into the history of the Louvre! Seeing those insane lines move by while you head inside is a highlight of the experience. We hope to guide you through another museum in the future.

An Excellent Experience

Harriet_D, May 2026
Covered the highlights of the huge museum with expert commentary and guidance. Especially appreciated the skillful and smooth leadership through the large crowds.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Harriet, We are pleased you appreciated the expert commentary and our guide’s skillful navigation. Moving smoothly through the Louvre's crowds is a top priority for us. We hope to see you again soon!

Great tour of the Louvre!

Joe_R, May 2026
This was a great tour that showed and explained the highlights of the museum. Given its size, we saw the most important paintings and sculptures. Our guide was great!

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Joe, The Louvre’s scale can certainly be daunting, so we are thrilled your guide helped you navigate straight to the most important highlights! We are happy we could help you see the best of the collection efficiently. We hope to see you again soon.

Exceptional Guide

George_S, May 2026
Because of the bus company which is the one brown one where hop on and hop off I was almost very late to get to the 11:00 AM time slot. The tour guide was texting me asking where I am. I text back 5 min away. They waited until I got there at about 11:05 AM. The entire ordeal would take to long to write. I was so very appreciated that they waited. The Louvre is too over whelming to not have a tour guide. There were 19 she administered her expertise to us. She was amazing. The bus driver should be fired, because of his rudeness towards me. I mentioned it to the kiosk guy I bought the ticket from. I described the driver to him. He kind of had a Jamaican accent. The tour guide made up for that "A Hole"

Response from Host, May 2026

Hi George, Thank you for your review. I’m really glad to hear that your guide stayed in touch and made sure you were able to join the tour despite the delay. We know how stressful timing issues can be when traveling, so it’s great to hear the team was able to accommodate you. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit to the Louvre. Kind regards,

Zexcellent!

I’ll be sure to pass along your kind words. We would love to welcome you back for a longer visit next time. Kind regards,

Brett_C, Apr 2026
This was a nice overall tour of the Louve. It was fairly crowded, so at times we could not hear our guide talking.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Brett, We are happy you enjoyed the tour, but we are sorry the crowds made it difficult to hear at times. We always aim for a clear experience, and we appreciate you letting us know. We hope to host you on a quieter city walk next time!
