Your tour will end in Versailles, your guide will provide return tickets and instructions for the easy train ride back to Paris. Trains leave every 15 minutes and all trains departing Versailles go to Paris.

- From 1 April to 31 October, the gardens of the Palace feature special Musical and Fountain Shows. Fountain Shows take place on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on Tuesdays in May and June and on national holidays. Please note that the fountains operate according to a set schedule — they do not run continuously throughout the day. On the other days of the week during this period, the gardens host the Musical Gardens, where music is played throughout the groves.
- Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before your tour departure time. We have to catch a train to Versailles and we cannot wait for late arrivals.
- The tour of Versailles Palace and gardens is 3 hours guided.
- You need to add approx. 40 minutes each way to get to and from the palace on the train.
- You can cancel your tour up to 24 hours prior to departure and receive a full refund. Please note that refunds are not possible for missed tours.
- If you plan to arrive at the meeting point by taxi, please ensure you leave yourselves plenty of time, it can often take a considerable amount of time to find a taxi in Paris!

You have two guides- one who meets you and takes you on train then walks you to gates. Another is your historical guide.

Beautiful castle. Very crowded but with this tour you get right past everyone who is in line. They meet you in Paris and take the train with you. Your given detailed directions on how to return on the train by yourself which allows you plenty of time to tour the gardens on your own or walk around the beautiful town of Versailles. Our tour guide Bayo was excellent and knew a lot of historic details. This is a must tour if you visit Paris.

Provided a comprehensive tour of the palace with descriptions of those that lived there. Clear guidance through the large complex was helpful. The long walks and cobblestone can be tiring.

We were so happy we signed up for the earliest tour of the day. The meeting point was great and the escort to the train was very organized. The tour guide at Versailles, Perrine , , was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and gave us lots of history. We had the flexibility of walking through the town and taking the train back on our own was easy. Highly recommend this tour.

Well organised. Our guide Ivan was excellent - knowledgeable and engaging. The tour itself was the right duration for someone travelling with kids (ie fitting in comfortably between breakfast and lunch).

Try to be in first group of the morning. It will be very crowded as the day goes on. The guides are very well informed. Only one opportunity for bathrooms.

It took over 4 hours so don’t plan anything right after to enjoy the gardens. Great experience, highly recommend! We did walk over 6 miles so need to be active for this one. Julie did an amazing job!

The guide getting to Versaille by train was excellent. The guide at Versaille was very verbose, therefore were not able to see all the interior rooms. Other guides were going through the room much quicker.

Dear Mr. Ross. We must clear up firstly that you were given the full tour. Of their 2,300 rooms Versailles authorities open only around 50 and you got to see all the can’t-misses, such as the Hall of Mirrors and the State Apartments and so much more, after benefitting from our special skip the line access thus avoiding all the time waiting that eats into your hard earned vacation. You can also rest assured that Memories will never skim over the heart of what you’ve come to see or skimp on the context that prevents your time at palace to become a mere post vacation blur, which is what a “quick” tour usually ends in. The guide taking us to Versailles was thorough and great. The guide at Versailles, while well-educated and knowledgeable, was long winded and extended the tour to the point we handed in our headsets. She needs to be shorten her explanations. Exhausting

It is much longer than three hours. I met the guide at 1:15 and left the tour during the the garden portion at 515 to get the train back to Paris. It is a lively tour just longer than anticipated.

An excellent tour. LOTS of walking so make sure you’re up for that. Our first guide met us in Paris and guided us on the train and until we met our main tour guide at the Palace. Our Palace tour guide was very informative and took his time to explain and answer all questions.

That leaves your mind free to soak in the glories of Versailles and ask all the questions you wish. We had an amazing time and lots of history and knowledge was shared to us by our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable. This location gets very busy and crowded and there is a lot of walking involved. A morning visit is best before all the crowds get there. This is a must do and shouldn't be missed.

My family and I really enjoyed this tour of Versailles. Our guide for the train, Gerrick, was extremely nice and did a wonderful job of explaining how the tour would work, and how to get back to Paris whenever we were ready to return. At Versailles, he passed us off to another guide, Fanny, who was also lovely. She knew a tremendous amount about the palace and the gardens and did a great job of sharing information with us as we navigated the palace and the gardens (despite there being hundreds of elementary school kids running about on a school trip). I highly recommend this tour if you want an uncomplicated way to get to Versailles and back, and an interesting tour of the property.
