Our tour guide, Adam, showed in depth the progression in art from classicism to Impressionism and Monet’s use of color and light, focusing on representative paintings. He gave us a greater appreciation of the art of Manet, Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh.

This was my first time at Musee d'Orsay and I loved our tour. We only had a few hours and wanted to get as much out of our visit as possible and Claire did not disappoint! She was able to put the artwork in historical context so you not only learned a little about the artists' techniques but you also got an understanding of how they were pushing the envelope on the subject matter. Even though the tour group was relatively large and the museum crowded, Claire was an expert in guiding us throughout the rooms and making space for us. This is also my favorite time period for art and so the overall tour was a great experience.

The tour itself was informative. The pre-tour instructions regarding where to meet and how to redeem our voucher for tickets was 100% inaccurate and created a great deal of unnecessary anxiety and frustration.

Unfortunately, we were at Musee d’Orsay and didn’t connect with our tour guide. We looked everywhere for the guide, and we couldn’t find him or her. We ended up having to buy a pair of extra tix because the guide was in possession of our tix. Basically, over $200 down the drain. 😢 I will definitely be filing a complaint with Viator.

We were excited to tour Musée d'Orsay and see the famous Renaissance paintings on exhibit at the museum. Not only did our guided tour by Johnny provide easy access, but we learned some fascinating facts about the museum and the artists' works. Johnny did a wonderful job guiding 20 of us through a crowded museum - not sure we could have done it on our own!

The Orsay museum has an incredible amount of art in it and this tour made it possible to appreciate the significance of the museum when compared to the louvre and the Pompidou. Our guide Amehd was incredible. Legitimately my favorite guide and storyteller that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He walked us through the classic artists that laid the foundation for Impressionism and weaved a beautiful, easy to follow storyline of the era and the people that contributed to the impressionist movement.

I called ahead of time that I was having trouble finding the location of where we meet. I found the exact meeting place. three minutes after they started. I called the guide number that they sent on the invitation if I had any problems. And no one answered. I called the master company and they couldn’t get through to the guide either.. I missed the whole thing and then they had the nerve to charge me for it. They were rude and dismissive. Don’t waste your money. There are other choices out there.

Had booked a guided tour of Muse d Orsay. Had to leave tour due to emergency. Rang Viator for trip advisor number. They e mailed me an incorrect number. I sent a further 2 e mails requesting the correct number. I got no reply to either e mail. Very disappointing

The tour guide was excellent and gave good background stories about the paintings. By purchasing a morning slot for the tour, I was able to stay afterwards and enjoy the rest of the museum on my own. You only need a half day here, whereas at the Louve I would definitely recommend putting a whole day aside.
