This was a tremendous tour, a very long day that is well worth it to those who know the history and want to walk the steps! Oliver our guide had so must extra history and stories to add; a great local fish restaurant for lunch was a welcome break in the day !
Our visit to Versailles was wonderful from beginning to end. The Paris Trip tours office was busy but efficient. Our guide Henri was absolutely outstanding; probably the best we’ve had on many tours in various cities. He had extensive knowledge of history and shared a lot of information; and quizzed us along the way. More importantly he made all of his (unrelated) small group feel welcome and comfortable.
My guide Will was the best. He was very knowledgeable and very considerate. I am partially disabled, and he kept a good eye on me. He was very knowledgeable about the history of both places. He is an excellent driver, too! Thank you, Will. My best wishes to you for your future success! Folks, if you get Will as your guide, please be sure to tip him. He is definitely deserving.
Min and Nafi did a great job on our bike and chateau tour. They were both extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Versailles and the surrounding gardens. Although it was raining quite hard, Min remained very positive and we felt like he was fully invested in our experience.
Great day except for the wine tasting. Still recommend because of the castles.
It was amazing seeing the castles. It was a very long day, long drive from Paris to the Loire Valley, but worth it. The only disappointment was the wine tasting. The amount of wine in the glass for each tasting was barely enough for a sip. Not much to see, smell or sip. Worst wine tasting I've ever had.
Great day trip out of Paris especially if you are an art lover and a big fan of Impressionism. It’s a treat to see the objects and locations which provided inspiration for Monet and Van Gogh paintings right before our eyes. Highly recommended if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Paris.
Great overview tour of the three chateaus. Of course, one could stay for a day or more at each to tour the gardens but this is a great tour of the buildings. Our driver was knowledgeable and spoke at least 3 languages. The van was clean and comfortable.
The experience of visiting Giverny and the house of Monet is a worthwhile excursion to take. The town is beautifully quaint, as is the house of Monet. Our driver, Frederic, was the best you could ask for. Pleasant, congenial and very informative. He seems to truly enjoy his job, which in turn, made for a great day.
Phillipe was such a great guide. He drove all the way and back and having a small group of seven made it the perfect number to walk around Bruges. In addition to telling us the history and taking us to all the places promised for the tour, he was able to recommend restaurants off the beaten path from all in the hustle and bustle and noise in the streets. We had a nice quiet lunch and enjoyed walking around looking in the shops and enjoyed every minute of our day. Merci boucoup Philipe.
I have a back problem so Segways are a great way to do a city tour to orientate yourself. You cover a lot of ground on a Segway. This tour did not disappoint. We were the only two people which made it feel like a private tour. Our guide was amazing. I wish I could remember his name.
A Packed Garden and House, but an Essential and Knowledgable Guide
A packed Givernay was only accessible with a guide, and our guide gave us a personalized tour. Small van with running commentary, lots of details of Money and his garden/house and shortcuts into an overwhelmed tourist site. Not all problems went away, but she guided onto the quickest path possible as we maneuvered through hordes of people view the beautiful gardens at the spring peak!
This was wonderful. Our guide was delightful and very respectful of our abilities. He helped us when we got lost on metro we were late arriving but he accommodated for this. We did not know that it involved walking up hills on cobblestones. I would have preferred a tour that required less walking
Paris is one of the most visited cities in the world, and it’s easy to see why: The City of Light is packed with world-famous monuments, museums, and UNESCO World Heritage sites. While it won’t be possible to see it all in one trip (or even one lifetime), full-day tours of Paris offer the best chance for visitors to discover the top sights in just a short amount of time. Depending on your itinerary, you can ascend the Iron Lady for top-notch city views, visit the Musée du Louvre, hop on a Seine cruise, and more—all in one day.
