Our guide was entertaining and friendly. We did the stairs to the 2nd floor and summit to the top. Our guide left after the 1st floor and we were on our own to the summit. Opt out of guided tour and do it yourself

Great experience. Unfortunately the summit of the tower was closed when we went, so we didn't get that particular experience. James the guide was very good and spent a nice amount of time explaining the tower in an interactive way.

Be aware that the guides are not very good at communicating at the meeting point. Make sure you stay close to them as they don’t make any effort to ensure everyone has heard their messages.

The stairs can be tough. My wife didn’t make it. If the winds are blowing too hard or too many people, the summit may close.

Appalling false advertising that the tour would include access to the top level. The tickets are not pre-reserved, and the operator advised they only release a limited number which usually sell out early. Furthermore, as we paid for access to the top level, which was sold out, my request for a refund was rejected.

Please note that access to the Eiffel Tower summit is subject to the Tower’s capacity and operational conditions, and the summit may close or become unavailable at the Tower’s discretion. These circumstances are beyond our control and can occur even when summit access is included in the booking.
Additionally, according to Eiffel Tower regulations, "all guests must be present at the time of ticket purchase", which means summit tickets cannot simply be purchased in advance on behalf of the entire group.

It was a scam. The operator hadn’t bought the tickets to the summit in advance even though we prepaid and they had confirmed summit tickets. We had to queue on the day with everyone else who was hoping to get the day tickets. The summit was then closed as the Eiffel Tower limits the amount sold throughout the day and so no tickets were available whilst we were queuing. The ‘Epic Tours guide’ said we had to decide as a group whether to wait with him until they reopened the summit or just go to level 2. We had paid a lot of money and spent over 75mins with the guide who told us nothing about the history of the Eiffel Tower even in the queue. We just spent the time queuing whilst he was asking us questions about our holiday. We could have just shown up ourselves on the day without the ‘guide’. We needed up leaving him and just buying our own tickets because it was clearly a scam and bet uncomfortable to be around. The company will not refund us even though it was completely miss-sold. Scam artists. Avoid at all costs. I won’t be using Viator again as they host these rogue companies.

We understand that waiting can be frustrating, but these procedures are determined by the Eiffel Tower and are outside the tour operator’s control. Our guide JD was great. For reasons beyond the tour company’s control the top of the tower was temporarily closed. However, JD did a great job letting the group know what options they had and stayed with the half of the group who wanted to wait out the closure. He a great energy and was extremely knowledgeable.

Cannot say much about the whole experience because we were not able to climb to the summit of the Eiffel Tower even though we had paid for it. We had a pre-booked time of 12.30 pm but by the time we arrived at the ticket office it was much later than this. We were also greeted with a sign that stated the summit was closed so we were not able to complete the experience. We were only able to climb to the second floor. Our guide did give plenty of information about the Eiffel Tower, its architect, building etc, but I think there was "too much information" for a lot of those in the party, particular the younger members. I do not think the problem is any fault of the guide. People had fully paid up for the experience in advance but the tickets are not purchased until the party reach the booking office. This seems to be rather unfair to me. When we all reached the second floor and it was too late to climb to the summit, the summit was re-opened. This is very disappointing. I would recommend the experience to a friend but I think I would suggest that they make the booking themselves rather than through a tour company.

We were disappointed we could not go to the top bec of high temps.
Also was not clear in instructions that you had to climb 600 steps to get to 2nd level and the elevator would be available.

It was great to have a guide take us in. But she talked way too long. She talked for 2 hours and we all just had to stand there and listen. Then by the time she was done it was 11am and the crowd showed up which really ruined the experience. She could have talked while we were all in line instead of making us stand there. I would have preferred like 30 min of info and then let us enjoy the tower. We came early to avoid crowds but we got it anyway.

The guide was not very helpful to 2 of our party who had to take the elevator. He could have been more informative to them. My wife uses a cane and we were not told that she could not take the elevator to the top - the other person who went with her had to buy a separate ticket to get to the top. We feel that we got cheated. I will never use Epic tours again. Everyone should be skeptical of them.

Great tour. Paid for a tour with summit access for our teenage girls. Andre did a great job looking after them. They spent the next day quoting facts back to us that they had learnt. Tour left promptly as agreed with a small group.

My daughter and I enjoyed learning about the history of the Eiffel Tower as we enjoyed the beautiful views of Paris. Masha, our tour operator, was fantastic! She was engaging, patient and knowledgeable. There were long queues due to the peak tourist season of August, but she kept our small group distracted by sharing the history of the Eiffel Tower. As we began our assent up the stairs, so did the hundreds of other people. I am so glad we chose this tour, as Masha was wonderful, but just remember that August is not only hot, but peak tourist season. Thanks again Masha for a memorable experience!

Absolutely fantastic tour! I've taken tours solo, as a couple, and with family throughout the US, South America, the Caribbean, and Europe, and Andre was one of the best tour guides we have had. He was loud, well spoken, and hit the interesting facts in a succinct yet well-explained manner. The tour portion with the guide lasts about 1.5 hours, then you are at the Ist floor of the tower and can go to the top on your own if you have the purchased ticket to the summit. The directions were clear for meetup and the content was great. Highly recommend, and great job Andre!
