Try not to get your Eiffel Tower tickets from a tour operator. They buy the tickets in mass quantities and then resell them at a huge markup as part of a “tour.” You can purchase your tickets online directly from the official website and even if they are sold out, the website says that they still sell tickets at the door for immediate entry. They might momentarily pause ticket sales if it gets too crowded. But that can happen with tour groups too. The only advantage I see to going with a tour operator is a near guarantee for a day or time you want to go. But even then, there are lots of potential hazards if you read the reviews of others. Again, the official website says that they sell tickets for in-person sales for immediate access even if the online tickets are sold out. So what does the “tour” get you? Someone to hold your hand and escort you to the main entrance and offer a few facts that are easily learned by reading the materials posted at the monument. There is no fast pass lane or expedited entry with a tour. You will stand in the same lines as the general public, both to get into the tower and then again to get onto the elevator. Our “two hour” tour was literally 45 minutes long because once our guide got us to the elevator that goes to the top, she politely bid adieu so that we “could be free to explore on our own.” She didn’t even go the top to show us the points of interest of Paris.

This tour was pretty average. We booked many tours during our trip to London and Paris, and this one probably wasn't needed. You can book a trip to the second floor yourself and save your money on this one. Book the Paris pastry food tour instead!

The tour was ok. Nothing wrong with the guide, just the tour we booked.. it was a larger group tour so it wasn’t as informative as the other 5 tours I booked as those were private. Sebastian did a great job getting us there and brief introduction. From there we were on our own. So basic tour basic outcome. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t extra.

Having bought through this tour agency cost us more but since we visited during the extreme heat wave in Paris, this worked out to be the best option for us. The tour guides are knowledgeable and took us to the Eiffel through the right gates and helped us navigate the long lines in security. They also gave us a quick overview of the experience so that we could beat the wait and the crowd to the top! So all in all totally worth it!

For us, the tour was a way to get our son to the third floor. I always enjoy the extra information we get from a tour. The guide help us get to the third floor more efficiently especially in August which was really crowded.

It was an amazing experience with a very friendly guide “Sebastian” . He was very knowledgeable and gave an amazing history of Paris and Eiffel tower. He was with us the whole time till we reached the 2nd floor. I can say that our experience was amazing. I recommend this to everyone.

Bruno was a great guide! We learned alot about the tower while waiting to go up. The meet up location is an easy 5 minute walk from the tower. Booking ahead was excellent and guaranteed access to the summit, even if it is at maximum capacity for the day, which it was on the day we went. Having a guide saves time and definitely helps navigate through the security and the lifts up the tower. Be prepared for crowds and packed elevators during summer. The lifts are fast and the view is amazing at the very top.

You don’t get anything on this tour you wouldn’t get by just buying a ticket. And the tour is approximately 5 times the price. You met at the tour company reception. They won’t even let you use the bathroom. For what they charge it would be the least they could do.

We were charged 3 times the price of the tickets and got escorted to the elevator. There was no guide once you go into the elevator. The guide that walked us there was nice but I feel the company buys all the tickets then charges tourists triple to use them.

We got held up going to Eiffel Tower and as we arrived realised we had to go to a separate location for tickets as we were so close to our alloyed time I decided to phone your representative and couldn’t understand his poor grasp of English we then ran over our time slot

Tremendously helpful to provide the tix and show us where to go. Several lines to stand in getting to the top and guidance was helpful. Also interesting facts on the Tower. Sidney was a great guide. Note if you plan to climb down the stairs from the 2nd “floor” it is a lot more than the 10 minutes on the sign. More like 30.

Booked to go up to the top. Everything went smoothly and glad we did the trip. Both kids returned knowing some interesting facts. Guide was very good and helped by suggesting we got in the queue for the top as quickly as possible as it gets very busy. Suggest you visit as early as possible to reduce queue times. Overall, highly recommend

Was really good - then we got option to upgrade ticket for a large sum of mi eh which we did but was not enjoyable - so many people and hot and in the end we barely spent anytime on third level - wish we just booked to 2nd kebel

Emergencies happen. They do not accept that. Refused to meet directly at the tower to give the tickets when they were supposedly there. Refund denied. Would not do business with the company. Further more would not recommend Paris to anyone. This company including many other people throughout the city are extremely rude.
If you’re looking for a vacation to Europe go elsewhere. And if you go to Paris, get your summit tickets directly through the tower. This company is a joke.

We did the Eiffel Tower guided access tour. Very well organised, Sebastian (from Argentina) was brilliant, very entertaining and informative about the tower, both the kids and adults in our group enjoyed what he had to say and then we were left to enjoy our visit which was perfect!

Was a good experience, but they don’t send the tickets to you directly. You have meet at an office that is about a 10-15 walk away from the tower. That’s not disclosed until a later email which is easy to miss along with the address of the spot you have to meet them. We were actually stressed and trying to find the location and missed our tour time. Luckily the girl at the desk was nice and was able to get us placed with the next tour group. Would have been a 5 star if they just make it easy on you, send the tickets to you directly, and have a meeting spot at the Eiffel tower.

Several Messages and calls to tour operator saying we were lost. No one responded. We missed the tour by 20 mins. They told us to wait until next tour to see if anyone doesn’t show up. Needless to say, we waisted an entire evening, no tickets, and no refunds. We lost $450.

This was a great way to get a little bit of historical context from a guide and cut some of the lines, while paying about the same amount as you would at the desk.
The tour group was well organized and our guide Ricardo was knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommend this as an Eiffel towel experience!
