The Louvre is an incredible museum and not to be missed. Sandra, our guide was delightful and shared some great insights. She is very educated and her excitement is contagious. Be aware though, if you go during the summer the crowds are huge.

We had very short stay in Paris, and this visit was like a 'chance' for me and my son to attend the Louvre. Price was quite high, but we didn't spend time in the terrible queue and had fast access to the museum. Many thanks to our amazing Guide Valeria: we could oversee the most famous artworks in the Louvre (means, come close and take the pictures. It was important because of huge number of visitors inside) and discover many interesting historical facts.

Our tour guide was very nice, had a lot of good information about the Louvre. Was knowledgeable about what we saw and helpful when we asked questions. My only disappointment was with Mona Lisa. Given the massive amount of people, she only allowed us 10 minutes to get in and see everything in the room other than Mona Lisa. That wasn’t enough time. 20 minutes would have been ideal.

A perfect first visit to the Louvre. If you only have a couple of hours, don’t miss this tour. It is a wonderful introduction to the history of the Louvre, and offers a fascinating description of painting techniques especially as they relate to the Mona Lisa. We learned a lot. You can spend days wondering the Louvre. This was a way to see the highlights and learn about the Louvre, its long history, and recent events.

Booking was easy as was meeting up with our guide- she was really informative. The Louvre was exceptionally crowded the day of our tour as the museum opened several hours late, and crowds were backed up, the Mona Lisa room was miserable, despite the painting being as lovely and demure as ever. The tour was short and focused, really liked the background of the Louvre and some things she pointed out about other works of art- overall I thought we would be guided through more works than we were. Maybe that was due to the long queue for ML?

Tour didn't meet my expectations. I expected to see the most popular pieces of art, and certainly the Mona Lisa as indicated in the tour name - that happened. Our time was limited so I expected a fast-paced tour and highlights. Instead, our guide stopped at a few select pieces of art (perhaps his favorites) and went into an in-depth explanation of each. That didn't leave much time for "highlights".
