What a great tour! We aren’t art historians or art lovers but Oliver kept us very interested from start to finish. The information and funny personal anecdotes he provided grabbed our attention all the way to the end. We did the succinct tour which took us to the major pieces. Perfect for my attention span. We had a wonderful tour guide who was very knowledgeable! They had so many answers and knew all the best places to go. When the tour was over she give us wonderful advice on where else to go in the museum. She helped us with a lost bag and we were able to get it back thanks to her! Stephanie was a fantastic tour guide. She made the tour very fun and informative for us and our 13 year old. She’s very knowledgeable and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Our guide Isabel was amazing. She gave so much information and facts I had never heard before. You can tell she enjoys her job. I had recently had foot surgery, when we visited and she insisted I sit every chance I had. I would want any tour to be with Isabel.

Our guide was knowledgeable and experienced. The Louvre was packed, and that affected communications, particularly around the three-ring circus that is the Mona Lisa. We would have preferred to have retreated to a quieter room/part of the museum to be able to hear some of the things he was saying.
He set expectations by saying that he was going to show us ‘three masterpieces’ on the tour, which he did. However, that seemed like a low bar for the price we paid, and for the riches inside the museum. He then proceeded to give us much more information along the way, often helping us to prime viewing positions.
The two-hour tour was, in the end, plenty. We then also had time (albeit with waning energy) to explore other areas of the museum that held our interest. This includes an amazing Egyptian section.

Our tour guide Emmanuel did a phenomenal job with this tour!! So knowledgeable and kind when answering questions and ensuring that we had the best views/that we saw the most popular of the art pieces!! He also gave us directions on how to see other art pieces as well! We went with 1 other family—making a total of 5 people in our group—and that made it even better! Skipping the long lines was the coolest! I do recommend taking the earliest available tour time, like we did. :-)

There is a lot of walking and stairs. Our tour lasted 2 hours. The time passed quickly. You may want to allow additional time to look at other areas on your own. I would suggest going early. It seemed less crowded and security moved quicker. Nielsen seemed very knowledgeable and kept our interest the entire time. He did an excellent job with our group.

Great last minute availability when our original tour was canceled. The meeting spot was easy to find and near the metro. Our guide Julie was friendly and very knowledgeable. Julie made sure we were all comfortable (including water and toilet stops) and found great spots to view popular pieces. She also included some of her favorites as well ans answered all questions. I would recommend this tour for families with tweens/teens.

Walter was an excellent tour guide through the Louvre. We were interested in the highlights and he delivered. After walking into the Louvre without waiting, he took us through a brief history of the Louvre from a fort to a fortress to a palace and finally the museum. We then proceeded through the statues until arriving at the Venus de Milo. He explained its origin and history. We then viewed a number of French and Italian painters before arriving at the Mona Lisa. As usual the crowds were huge so we talked about Leonardo DaVinci until we got photos and a better look. After finishing the highlights he escorted us to the escalators to view the exterior including the pyramid.

The tour guide, and the value for the one hour and 15 minute tour was outrageous
the guide obviously had another tour, as she stated she would leave us at Mona Lisa, she said in the beginning before we even entered the Louvre we may not be able to get past the other guests, as there was no staff, as they were still striking? which they were not, and we and the other 20000 people were trying to navigate the stairs, which is not noted, no AC, and she told us she would answer questions, after she left us a Mona Lisa, I asked her how i would get out to the elevator, she said, I told you 4 times, I said i CANT HEAR YOU!
I will call Viator, as a Travel Agent, I was appalled at this tour and pricing, we waited in the line to get our reserved ticket, and no other skip the line was available to us. I give this a 0 Rating..

It was a wonderful, fun filled trip. Mind, there was a strike that morning, ao we didn’t get to enter the museum till 10:30, but that’s really no one’s fault. Laura, our guide, was filled with stories about the art pieces, which made the tour really engaging.
Even with a early morning access skip the line pass, the museum was still packed and the Mona Lisa was actually impossible to get near enough to see. Oh well. Still thoroughly enjoyed other Da Vinci pieces.

“Neils” was an outstanding guide!!! He was well informed and brought each piece of art we viewed to life for me. He knew and shared in depth history about the museum and each of the exhibits. This visit was definitely a highlight of my trip to Paris. The museum was jammed with visitors possibly because it was the last day of a long holiday weekend, so it was a challenging day, but Neils warmth and wit made it fun. I was having some physical difficulties but Neils very kindly helped me maneuver the many staircases we used, kept checking on my wellbeing and asked someone to make room for me to sit down when I needed a break. I can’t say enough good things about this visit and Neils. Merci beaucoup!!!
