Pompeii tickets – ID requirement: It is mandatory for all participants to carry a valid photo ID on the day of the tour. The personal details provided at the time of booking (e.g. first and last name) must exactly match those on the ID, as Pompeii tickets are nominative and non-transferable. Local staff at the archaeological site are entitled to check IDs at the entrance. In case of discrepancies, spelling errors or missing information, they may refuse entry to one or more participants at their sole discretion. Discover Italy cannot be held responsible for any refusal of entry due to incorrect or incomplete data provided by the participants, and no refund will be due in such cases.

Weather, clothing and itinerary: The tour runs in all weather conditions; we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a light jacket and an umbrella. Any waiting times during stops (for explanations, security checks or photo opportunities) may occur and are not dependent on the organization. The guide and tour leader reserve the right to modify or adjust the itinerary if necessary for operational or safety reasons (for example due to traffic, site regulations or unexpected closures).
