This tour was expensive for what it is. We met our guide in the square, and were given a translating device with an earpiece to listen to the guide. The translating device spoke with an American accent and there was a delay between the guide speaking and the device translating. A couple of times everyone in the group lost sound and the guide seemed annoyed with the man who was there to give out the devices which makes me think this is not the only time the listening devices have gone down. It was difficult to know which piece of art / sculpture the guide was talking about at any given time and she seemed to flit between random facts and information, like she was just relaying facts, it all seemed disjointed. The veiled Christ is beautiful, there is no mistaking this fact, and the chapel ( now no longer a chapel but a small museum) is very ornate with lots of statues, as are the anatomical machines which are very interesting to look at but it was costly for what it was, did not seem good value at all, and no photos are allowed. I would recommend booking early and getting an audio guide at the chapel itself rather than choosing this tour.

We had a terrible experience. We received all the instructions about the meeting point (exact address) and time (10am for a tour start at 10:15). We were at the exact address at 9:55 and when the guide was still not there at 10:15, I contacted the Vox Customer care who told me the guide would come anytime. 15min later when still no one was there Customer Care told me it's because the previous tour is delayed. Eventually the guide show up at 11:15 for the next tour pretending to have been at exact same place where we have been all the time, which couldn't be true and confirming that customer care had no clue of what was going on.We eventually went to the chapel with the tour of 11:15 which was itself delayed by 30min which meant that it started at 11:45. I would definitely not recommand to book this tour with Viator.

No tix available at the official site, but this tour had openings. The cost was more than double, but seeing this art was on our must see list. Entry was for 10am, meet at 9:30. No tour person at 930, or 10. We found folks at the meeting place haaving booked a 930 entry also still waiting. Someone from the tour company showed up at 10:10 and we were told we would enter at 10:45. The audio gear was distributed and the tour headed out at 10:30 walking the long way to kill some time while the guide gave us some background. We entered the space at 10:45 and got to spend 20 minutes or so. It felt like enough time to enjoy the feature piece and the other great sculptures.

The guide (don't remember the name 11:45 on April 24) gave a lot of background information about Naples, Raimondo Sansavero, and the sculptures in the chappell. I was originally planning to visit without a tour, but could not get a ticket from the ticket office (sold out) for the last two days I was in town, but found an available ticket for this tour. I'm glad I did - the chapel is an incredible sight, but I appreciated getting the background information as well.
